The Lark Bistro in Liverpool

Entramos en especificación porque estábamos caminando. Menú encantador, teníamos un par de platos pequeños (¡que no eran tan pequeños!) Y un pastel maravilloso. Todo fue perfecto, no me puedo quejar. Covid consciente de que de hecho lo sentí por ellos, para hacer suficiente espacio solo tenían unas pocas mesas adentro. Eso sin duda afectará las ganancias.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida aquí, menú pequeño pero comidas sabrosas de buena calidad. Buen valor y presentación. Las mesas están bien espaciadas e incluso se puede disfrutar de una comida al aire libre. Lark Lane es de una manera en este momento, ingrese desde Aigburth Road.

Comida fabulosa y excelente presentación, porciones de buen tamaño. mucha conciencia de COVID y espaciado de tablas, detalles de contacto solicitados en la entrada. Asientos en el interior y al aire libre.

Delicioso entrante de pato y verduras en salsa dulce Vieiras servidas en las mejores tradiciones de la alta cocina. El café está limpio y ordenado, las mesas se limpian y cambiaron el mantel de papel después de cada cliente.

Ensalada de nicoise realmente sabrosa y a los niños les encantaron las envolturas de halloumi. Valor realmente bueno. Definitivamente volveremos.

Me and my family visited here on a busy Sunday. Despite the busy atmosphere there was no delay on food as it was coming out the kitchen so fast and efficiently. I was absolutely blown away by the scallops chorizo and black pudding small plate. Amazing flavour not to mention the cauliflower purée which was a perfect element to this dish. My wife was also left speechless by the calamari, honestly was the best she’d ever ate. Perfect will be back to try the food again first time we’d visited but this might be our new local for food and wine. Well done the lark bistro amazing from start to finish!!!

First time at lark bistro As iv been told that chefs from Bistro by the park Hale Village are also cooking here & the Food at (BISTRO BY THE PARK HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST ) thought we,d book for me & the wife 16/7/20 . (Starters spicy prawns on bruschetta . ). & the (fish cakes ) WOW FRESH & AMAZING Mains POSH SURF & TURF WITH KING PRAWNS & SCALLOPS & PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM SERVED WITH HAND CUT CHIPS . WOW Cooked to perfection . We didn’t realise it was a 12oz steaks 😱 So no room for deserts unfortunately . There knew menu here iv got to say is FAB The price FAB & the quality of food & service FAB LOVLEY ATMOSPHERE GREAT LOCATION & you can sit outside & have a drink . Also thank you to Anastacia for the great service & making us feel so welcome . SUMMERY . It’s a (5 from me ) & would highly recommend this Lovley place to any one visiting Lark Lane Liverpool . I am a supporter of independent cafes and restaurants so I want to like this place. Firstly it was understaffed so expect a very long wait. I ordered a flat white. I got plunger filter coffee with milk froth on top. They don't actually have a proper coffee machine so I got a mouthful of coffee grains I spat out. I ordered the English breakfast. The toast arrived 10 mins before the actual food so it was cold. They had forgotten the hash brown so that arrived after I'd almost eaten. Most of the items on the plate were cold - the beans, were the only hot item. Clrarly the cook had plated up and then left items go cold. It wasn't cheap. Staff were nice but bad coffee. Rubbish food. I wouldn't go back. I really did want to like this place but I had to go to Piipins Corner up the street to get a de ent coffee and wash away the taste from The Lark Bistro.

Staff were not trained. Our food took almost an hour to come out without an apology. Asked for discount on the food and was given a round of free drinks. The coffee from this round of free drinks took even longer. Food was average - not worth wait definitely!

This was my second visit here and it has only worsened my concerns from the first time. I visited this afternoon for some brunch/lunch with friends (group of 5); it wasn't particularly busy (about half-full) and yet we had to wait some 50 minutes before any food showed up at all. Even after querying where the food was up to, sections of dishes turned up in dribs and drabs with earlier arrivals going cold before the rest of the order arrived. On top of this, the waitress was extremely rude. Not only did she offer no apology for the very long wait, but she was grumpy and short with us while taking the order and bringing the food, especially with regards to queries about gluten free options and enough cutlery for the table. Food, drinks, and cutlery were slammed down on the table and we were generally made to feel like a nuisance. Once it finally arrived, the food was tasty (if a little cold in parts), and when we were later served by a different staff member (probably the manager/owner), the service became speedier and friendlier, but it was all a bit late by then as we were now requesting the bill. With such poor service and no apology offered at all, we won't be going back.

Came in sunday as it looked quiet nice. At 2.10pm we ordered 2 x bowls soup and a blt sandwich with oj and a coke from a waiter.Drinks came out quick but thats as good as it got. 30 mins later 1 bowl of soup came out. After questioning what happened with the order a lady said the waiter was having an off day and didnt put it through. Even though my partner and i checked 3 times with him b4 he left the table....10 mins later my soup came out minus the bread and the blt a few mins later. Poor service and not much to sing about. When paying the drinks were discounted. But worst service iv seen in a long time. wont be back.

There were 10 of us, first in the door on a Sunday morning. Really good breakfast options, with plenty for veggies and vegans (meat eaters were happy too), and the soup and salads looks great as well. Really tasty with decent portion sizes. Service was good, especially as the young lady seemed to be the only server at first - she was attentive and got the orders exactly right, though she must have felt under some pressure with various foods and drinks orders coming at the same time. Toilet and small corridor leading to it could do with a good clean but overall a good, friendly spot for breakfast / brunch.

Called in for coffee and cake after reminiscing along lark lane after a visit to Sefton park. Got a shock when I went to pay and they don't accept cards for transactions under £20 - no sign on the door or menu. Had to go to the shop across the road and withdraw cash on my credit card. Gave 3 stars because they're dog friendly but service was slow and my glass of water was given to the people on the next table.
