This was my second stay at The Landmark London, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is exceptional as it is perfectly situated in the heart of Marylebone. The rooms are spacious, which is rare to find in London. Service throughout the hotel remains impeccable where the staff were attentive and gracious at all times. That said, for a property that has recently undergone renovations, I was surprised by the lack of modern amenities.. the shower was underwhelming, and the in-room fan was quite dated and ineffective particularly disappointing given the warmer season. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortably firm, and the pillows far too thin for a restful night’s sleep. Other than that I would say this hotel is pretty decent.

We’ve just checked in and already had the most incredible welcome – all thanks to the wonderful Jihye Jeon on reception. We mentioned it was our joint birthday and that we’d travelled into London to celebrate, and she went above and beyond to make it feel truly special. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so looked after – greeting us warmly, arranging for our bags to be taken up straight away, and even surprising us with a knock at the door and a bottle of champagne. It was such a thoughtful touch and genuinely made our day. This has been the perfect start to our stay – we’ve already had the best experience and we’re actually debating booking another night because we’re loving it so much. Thank you, Jihye, for making our birthday feel so memorable. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the stay brings!

I had a wonderful stay at The Landmark London — the customer service truly stands out. Special thanks to Ana, Chloe, Ruby, David, Mihai, Diana, Rodica, Alina, and Orlando, who all went above and beyond to make my experience special. The restaurant and door staff are exceptional: warm, professional, and very guest-oriented. One area that could use some improvement is the front desk. While check-in and check-out were polite, the service lacked the same confidence and customer focus I experienced elsewhere. A simple question about late check-out required asking a colleague, and the response I got was unclear and not very reassuring. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’d definitely return. Huge credit to the service team that really brings the Landmark’s reputation to life.

Very nice hotel within a perfect distance to central, both by foot and by bus or tube. Notably, the staff are great. The concierge and Melaku were especially very helpful during an incident where an item was lost (but recovered thanks to them)! Not a fan of the restaurant, very limited options. Would not recommend the gnocchi or chicken but the sea bass was lovely. The place is gorgeous and smells great too!

This hotel, although beautifully decorated and priced accordingly, does not offer good service. The staff can be rude and dismissive, a fact that was illustrated perfectly by the CEO (allegedly) punching a woman who was peacefully protesting, as is her legal right, outside the hotel. All in all, a very disappointing experience and not one I will be in a hurry to repeat.

Our stay at this hotel was AMAZING! We booked a room here to get ready before our wedding and for our wedding night. We had a free upgrade to the Landmark Suite and we were just blown away. Every member of staff we interacted with were friendly, polite and helpful. One member of staff that stood out was Rupert on the front door. He arranged a taxi for us and was extremely accommodating and left a lovely impression on us. We plan on coming back for our wedding anniversaries as we had such a great experience. Thank you so much to everyone at The Landmark.

We stayed at the Landmark hotel last April as we were getting married nearby. The evening before we had an amazing family meal in the restaurant and were looked after so well by all of the staff. Our suite was absolutely amazing, had everything we could need.. so much space and light to get ready with my bridesmaids. A special shoutout to the amazing Zelina who helped us before and after our stay, and made sure we were treated like royalty! I wish I could do the weekend all over again and look forward to returning to the hotel soon. I could not recommend enough for anyone getting married at the Town Hall. We got such beautiful photos and the hotel were so accommodating.

I've visited the Landmark Hotel many time's with my family over the years. Sadly despite it being such a beautiful building with lovely interiors and ambiance I won't be coming back due to the extremely slow and snotty service. The last two times I have been for a drink and a bite to eat; once with my mother at Christmas and a friend the other day, we have been completely disregarded by the staff, having to go and find someone to order and then waiting over half an hour for our drinks. But it was this most recent visit that actually upset and offended me, changing my mind about ever returning to The Landmark. I first went over to one of the waiting members of staff to ask if someone could come over to take our order when they have a minute, we waited a while and no one arrived. So I then flagged down a passing member of staff who appeared more senior, to ask if we could order a drink, who gave me the impression that this request was a nuisance (after me seeing her smiling and attending a older white gentleman who didn't want anything, so clearly we didn't "fit" the clientele she wanted to serve) This was made more clear when once giving our order, she snootily suggested we go down to the pub downstairs instead. I was honestly shocked as it was clear what she was implying. I really hate that kind of snobby behaviour which seems to have got worse with every visit. We were dressed perfectly smartly but I get the impression that unless you are dressed head to toe in designer or scream money there is no need for your business. The order we placed again never arrived and after sitting there for over half an hour we got up and left. I had some understanding at Christmas because it's a busy time but the most recent visit was no excuse. It wasn't even busy and I saw plenty of members of staff. So despite the lovely ambience, unless you look like you are going to splash the cash, save your money and go elsewhere and get treated with a little more respect.

First of all me and my two teens kids stayed at the hotel this past Xmas for three nights included Xmas day. It was fantastic. I want to mention Umberto from the reception and Nina the Indian lady that used to come to check the rooms at nights. Both made our staying special. I can be difficult, so I thanks them for understanding me. Waking up on Xmas day was magical and the presents from the hotel were really nice. Only two suggestions, the breakfast room needs more Xmas spirit. A big tree, something more apart from the excessive tables with food. And you need to find a different way to charge your guess with the breakfast bill. I hated the way it was done. Its not right in a 5 * hotel. Attention needed for the coffee too. I sent it back three times and came back as cold. Apart from that, I will go back next time we are in London. This wasn't our first one. Thank you for your service guys. Best of luck.

Terrible experience. Booked this venue for our wedding breakfast and customer service was shocking. All event rooms were booked so we booked a semi private space and were met with constant negativity, hidden costs that cropped up after we booked as well as no commitment on the cost of afternoon tea with only 6 weeks to go. First experience was good hence our booking but I understand Management since changed and that's when it went downhill. It felt as though everything was being done to let us know that we were not welcome. This resulted in us having to find a new venue 6 weeks before which was very stressful and upsetting. Wouldn't confirm if we could use terrace space even though we were willing to pay, told us the area we had was small and would be tight. Just did everything to make us not excited for the day and made us feel very unwanted. Only thing done well was deposit was returned fairly quickly. Not sure of the underlying reason but I guess you got what you wanted which was to not have us there. 20 people for lunch, I thought would be of some value but apparently not. What we wanted was very standard so we weren't requesting anything out of the ordinary. Would not recommend this place for a special event, too risky. We wasted alot of precious time with this booking and limited options to fix our special day as most places get booked well in advance. Staff have no autonomy and seem scared to commit to anything, therefore they commit to nothing.

I stayed from December 28, 2024 to January 11, 2025, a deluxe room overlooking the lobby and the garden. The trip was for a family. To be honest, it is the most luxurious and best family hotel ever. The rooms are cleaned 3 to 2 times a day. The atmosphere is beautiful and the guests are on the same page, whether foreigners or Arabs (respect, appreciation, politeness). I did not notice any of the annoying specimens late at night in the hallways or in the lobby. Close to Marylebone station, only 100 meters, close to all important streets and areas (Oxford - Regent - Hydebridge), no more than a 20-minute walk. First-class family. The reception and concierge staff are wonderful. I deliberately left some money in the room every time I came back and found that the amount had not decreased.

We recently stayed at the hotel and called up the day before to ask about hotel parking. We were advised that we should park in the NCP Marylebone very close to the hotel and we should pre-book as it gets very busy. Which we did. On arrival at the hotel to drop our bags the doorman said to us to be careful and described the car park as “dangerous”. As we had already paid over £100 to park for the night and had been recommeded the car park by the receptionist the day before we decided to park our car here as planned. Unfortunately when we returned to the car park today the car had been broken into with the back window smashed. This has caused us massive disruption, distress and cost. We have just had to drive home nearly 200 miles home with a broken window. I can say the concierge were very helpful in putting some temporary board and tape over the window and to my shock told us that they have had to do this on many occasions!! I can’t believe that the hotel would advise a customer to park in a car park which obviously is very dangerous! I spoke the manager about this who was apologetic but to be honest didn’t do anything further to help me, my wife and my 2 small children that were clearly very distressed with the situation. While at the front desk we also chatted with another guest who had just been scammed in his hotel room for over $1400 by a scammer calling his hotel room which was actually put through from the hotel reception! In our small snapshot of time at the hotel we have seen 2 crimes 1st hand and although I’m not naive enough to think crime doesn’t happen it feels to me that both situations could have been avoided if the hotel had done a better job of protecting its guests…. Surely that’s the most important objective of any hotel especially one such as the 5 start Landmark. Hugely disappointed and would advise potential guests to think twice before booking here.

The Landmark Hotel boasts stunning interiors, as many reviews highlight. The walls, carpets, décor, and especially the atrium truly deliver the grandeur one would expect from a five-star Leading Hotel of the World. However, my overall experience just before Christmas left me with mixed feelings. The primary issue I encountered was a sense of neglect and poor hospitality. Upon arrival, my Uber driver dropped me at the back entrance, which I later realized is commonly used for drop-offs. Yet, no staff was present to assist with my suitcase or even to open the door—hardly the welcome one expects from such an esteemed establishment. Navigating to the reception felt like walking through a maze, as it’s located on the opposite side of the hotel. Throughout my stay, I felt the hotel prioritized the atrium’s restaurant and bar over its actual guests. While the atrium is undeniably impressive, the focus on creating a spectacle for external visitors came at the expense of the peace and comfort I sought as a hotel guest. After a long day exploring the festive chaos of London, I craved tranquility in my room. Instead, I endured hours of piano performances directly beneath my window. A couple of hours would have been lovely, but the endless sessions, including repeated renditions of "Happy Birthday," stretched late into the evening, making earplugs and noise-canceling headphones a necessity. On a positive note, my room and bathroom were spacious and clean, offering a comfortable retreat—when the noise subsided. Unfortunately, dining was another challenge. With no tables available, not even for hotel guests, I had to settle for room service. A heads-up email encouraging reservations in advance would have been helpful, rather than just receiving payment reminders after I had already settled my bill. The most frustrating moment came during breakfast when staff attempted to re-seat me to accommodate someone else. I’ve traveled across three continents this year, staying in numerous five-star hotels, and such behavior is virtually unheard of in establishments of this caliber. While The Landmark Hotel undoubtedly excels in its aesthetic appeal and grandeur, its service left much to be desired. A truly exceptional five-star hotel should offer more than just impressive décor—it should deliver seamless hospitality and a guest-first approach, which, unfortunately, was lacking during my stay.

I recently returned to The Landmark London for my second visit, and it was just as enchanting as my first stay. Nestled in Marylebone, the hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the city. The tube station is conveniently located across the street. It’s a stone's throw from the vibrant streets of Oxford Circus and the charming shops of Marylebone High Street, making it perfect for both shopping and sightseeing. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who remembered me from my previous stay. The check-in process was efficient, and we were quickly escorted to our room, where a lovely welcome treat awaited us. Our room was luxurious and spacious, featuring elegant decor and a cozy ambiance. The large windows flooded the space with natural light.. Management was made aware of them and apologized appropriately and seriously so hopefully they won’t happen again, so I will spare the details. However the incidents were more characteristic of a 3-star hotel than 5-star, so we will leave it at that.

I have eaten breakfast here frequently recently and have had problems with the staff on multiple occasions regarding my assistance dog. On the first day, they tried refusing me access to the buffet section. I explained assistance dogs are entitled to full public access and went to the buffet anyway. Every single time I've eaten here, the staff have tried to distract or pet my dog, despite the jacket clearly stating "DO NOT TOUCH". Today was the final straw. When we asked to be seated, the woman at the front desk said she wouldn't seat us until she spoke to the manager first. I told her that was unnecessary because assistance dogs are legally required to be given full public access, but she wouldn't listen and left us waiting. A few minutes later, another staff member was willing to seat us. However, after we were already seated, the manager named Leon came over and illegally demanded assistance dog ID. I calmly explained that it's illegal to require and informed him of the two questions he's allowed to ask me. I asked him if he wanted to ask me those instead, and he had no interest, still demanding the ID and telling me he asks it of all assistance dogs, meaning that they break the law every time. I implored multiple times for him to leave us alone, and he wouldn't. I told him to ask his superior to retrain him because it is not our job as guests to educate the Landmark staff. Leon completely ruined our breakfast, and, to make matters worse, the staff who kept coming over afterwards wouldn't stop distracting my dog, demonstrating that nobody there has any knowledge whatsoever about assistance dog laws let alone etiquette. No matter the venue, all businesses must respect and abide by the law, but for the money we're paying at the Landmark, this is beyond unacceptable.

Great location. But for a 5 star hotel, some of the fixtures in the bathroom (in particular) look like they could do with more maintenance or a refurb, eg marks inside the bath. Also, all the films on their pay-per-view TV entertainment system are approx £8. Not a problem if you’re happy to pay that AND they were the latest releases, but a lot of them are several years old. Personally I think those ones should be free for guests.

The landmark is a stunning restaurant with a lovely conservatory courtyard offering a great range of opportunities to eat drink or let the world go by. We went to the winter garden restaurant for afternoon tea a couple of times now and it's definitely one of the best in London - piano live music included! The service is quick, friendly and always there to help or refill your sandwich plate or tea. The food is delicious and thoughtfully put together. If you're local or around check it out! Make sure to book well in advance !

My husband and I had our wedding reception dinner on the 22/03/2024 at the Landmark hotel(winter garden restaurant), we also had a suite booked to start off our honeymoon. Building up to the date the staff had been very attentive and helpful to our needs, on arrival with my chief bridesmaid we were received to a very warm and welcoming reception from the (doorman/bell boy) to the concierge. The bedroom suite had champagne and cake on arrival with a hand written congratulatory card from the manager. This was a nice touch and great addition to our special day. The food during the meal was fantastic and well presented, the waitresses were very attentive and fantastic with our guests. Our room was redecorated with rose petals and swans by the time we had finished dinner (another lovely surprise from the hotel). We ended the night having more drinks at the mirror bar. The Next morning before heading off to our honeymoon we had splendid spread for breakfast. It was everything you needed to manage a slight hangover and head off honeymooning. In all the staff and Landmark helped shape our special day, for this Robert and I would like to say a big thank you. I would definitely recommend the Landmark for anyone wanting a similar experience. Look forward to coming by sometime soon for a champagne brunch Xx

Had a very disappointing and scary experience at the hotel. I got stuck in the hotel elevator I have rang the alarm immediately and been shouting “ Help” for around 10 minutes where nobody even realized I was even locked in. There was also no signal or WiFi connection which made the situation worse. I after that was able to get a signal called the hotel, and that was only when they only found out someone is stuck. It was also worried that they were asking me in which elevator I am at and which floor is it stuck. So they couldn’t even find out that info!! I spoke to the duty manager who promised to come back to me with a reply. I have been emailing him since then but no reply at all. At my checkout they told me that the manager is busy and they only offered me a breakfast during the stay. I have also been sending emails and reminders but still no reply. I stayed in a five stars hotel because my safety matters not because I want such thing offered to me. I should also to warn everyone with kids, elderly and disabled people to be very careful as the security system at the hotel seems to have a huge issue. I really hope the issue gets solved

Came here for an afternoon tea experience with my family. I was the first one to get there. I never felt so uncomfortable. Every few steps I took. Someone would come up to me to ask me what I was here for. Did not feel welcomed. Tea was okay. Good selection of tea. My wife has been before and this was her 3rd time here however she was not too impressed this time round. She felt the tea was brewed for too long. Server very attentive. A choice if you are in the marleybone/baker street area.

Staff make things possible…. Stayed on the 2nd Feb 24, to celebrate my mums bday and what can I say.. The room was lovely and clean. We had Dinner at the Pub and the staff were very accommodating! We were placed on the 5th floor and I forgot to say my Mum doesn’t take lifts however nothing was too much for Richard on arrival he escorted us so we can take the stairs. Richard is such asset to the Hotel. When we got to the Pub, the warm welcome we received from Michael was so lovely, he made us feel welcome, alongside MD and Doka the service was 5 star. The head chief of the pub even came out to give us our dessert that was such a lovely touch for him to make his way out of the kitchen. We went to the Spa and nothing again was too much for Olivera and Chelsea. Olivera showed us around and explained everything we needed to know, she was very professional and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding (however an English breakfast isn’t complete without some Baked beans) best breakfast sausages we have had, we were spoilt for choice. We were completely stuffed after that. Adrian at check out made our check out ease and hassle free. The decor and cleannesses 10/10 Breakfast staff all smiles considering how busy breakfast was. We can’t wait to stay again Thanks landmark and see you soon perhaps for my bday Love Kels and Mum

The room smells very bad for a 5 stars hotel The receptionist are not cooperative at all during our check in and check out. The afternoon tea club service is not being honest, they strongly refuse us to join because it’s fully reserved for the day even when we asked them to put us on waitlist and after 12 minutes they asked us if we want to join in like !!!

Fabulous steaks but let down a little bit by the accompanying sauces. Got served this weird truffle gravy that was absolutely disgusting. Asked for pepper sauce and that was extremely bland . Similarly had to ask for chips without truffle oil. Putting truffle oil on everything is a trendy fad that should die. Very good service though.
