Donna the waitress was lovely and friendly, very helpful.

Ruth helped us to move to a suitable table. All staff Ruth, Mel and Kerry very friendly and helpful! Meat portions during previous visits have been very poor but today’s was perfect!

The food was not great. It started ok with the starters but went down hill from there. Chips were very dry and tasteless, bottom of burger soggy and peas were not edible. They were shrivelled and hard like they were left over and heated up far to long in a microwave. I only ate a little of my burger (took rest back for dog) and left the chips. My daughter only ate the scampi and left all the rest. Left feeling disappointed and hungry as we couldn't eat the food.

Come 2-3 times a week for a carvery with my Nana. The food is great and the staff are fantastic, really friendly, especially Ruth(with that lovely Scottish accent!), who goes above and beyond and always comes to say hello and ask we're ok.

I've been here a few times and have had excellent accommodating service each time. The food has been brilliant each time, plenty to choose from. The gravy is the only thing I'd change, sometimes it can be a bit thick or lumpy but that's the same in most places. All other food has been faultless. Special mention to Charlotte (the manager) and Mel for explaining the dairy free alternatives to me and taking the time to accommodate my disabilities and health issues. The vegan custard was delicious. Lambwath can get very busy during peak hours. If you've got disabilities that make you struggle with busy places, best to stick with quieter times when possible. If you give the staff a ring, they'll always do whatever they're able to help you.

Fab, Fab, Fab! Just popped into Lambwath, haven't been for a while, what with Lockdown and Covidretrictions. Served by Chef Kyle n Chef Mo! All meats tender, tasty, succulent! Roasties soft n crispy, mash tasty, tasty, leek, potato gratin...spot on! Gravy thick n beefy. YEP...all in all Fab. Thanks Chefs n kitchen people...by far the better carvery for miles. Also a big thank you to waiting staff, so pleasant Customer service the best at Lambwath. I sincerely hope the brewery management are looking after you? Much respect to all! We go for our Sunday roast every week food is delicious charne who serves the food is very polite. all staff are polite and helpful

Staff are really nice. We went for breakfast. It was nice but limited choice. No scrambled eggs , coffee was awful. But the bacon and sausages were nice.

Food was lovely and hot, got 2 different meats and there was a nice portion

The breakfast is outstanding! A properly-cooked, all-you-can-eat, buffet breakfast with real coffee…bottomless…. at a price you would pay for a small breakfast anywhere else! The staff are super-friendly and can’t do enough for you (special recognition for Vicky, Ruth & Mel). Doesn’t get any better than this! Faultless!

Ruth and Mel and Charlotte are very welcoming always come here 4 our Sunday lunch always pleasant and helpful and parking is great so bonus lovely food get same all the time Turkey but nice and fresh always get a nice warm smile of the girls when we come keep up the excellent work girls your doing a great job if fact u need a pay rise 😊

Went in today 4 pm for a carvery, thought I'd beat the rush......wish I hadn't bothered. Food looked like it was from lunchtime, nothing was covered up, turkey was dry, shriveled green beans, next to no peas....dried up few....I didn't bother, mash dry & hard on top, 3 pots of roasts left out......non really any good. No one there to keep an eye on the food, to turn it or change it. Tables I was at left dirty & plates etc left on next to me.. I'd finished....15 minutes passed and still wasn't cleared.....yet another table (friends possibly). Was cleared . When there's lots of reserved tables....the free ones need to be cleared and cleaned I have a couple of reasonable meals in the .past, but that's all they were but this one was poor.

Best carvery I've had in a while! The cheesy mash was amazing and everything else was cooked and done to perfection.

Food pretty average today. Roast potatoes like bricks and stuffing was pale and stodgy. Service from Ruth top notch as always.

Prompt and friendly service. Donna and Kirstie were particularly helpful in checking we had everything we needed. A few tables reserved for larger groups but still plenty of room, a warm atmosphere.

The bar staff were friendly I asked for their names Lisa and Mia We all had carvery 3 standard and 1large with drinks Charlie (female) whilst serving on the carvery had a smile and was happy to help providing excellent customer service She is a credit to your company making people feel happy and smiling Value for money

The food was lovely. Peas were abit hard. But other then that and been given scraps of meat instead of off the joint was a little disappointing. The cleanliness wasn't great and cutlery and napkins wasn't replenished we had to search for somebody to retrieve some to be able to eat. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Possibly understaffed. The room was incredibly warm too. But overall not a bad experience. Id go again.

Went in.Had not booked but could sit in the bar which I quite liked. So we went for the carvery as it was Sunday. Well the roast potatoes looked good so had a few with mash and other vegetables and the usual meats I Chose beef and pork. The gravy was low but was not long before we got some more. Enjoyed the food . But most of all I love roasts and these were crunchie on the outside and soft in the middle. One place I have frequented the middles were opened up and think they had been frozen Saying that these had a nice taste too Compliments to the chefs. Thankyou

Popped in for lunch on a Wednesday. It was quite busy, but my 11 month old had a great time! Ruth and Celine made sure he had everything he needed and were so helpful 😊 he loved trying the carvery and ice-cream 😁❤️

Standard corporate carvery. Nothing special. Food's OK. Staff are fairly disinterested, not a smile amongst them!

We use the Lambwath regularly for Sunday lunch carvery. My sister and her partner travel from Google every other weekend for this. The food is always very nice. The staff are always friendly and polite. On our last visit, Ruth and Courtney were looking after our table and as we find with all the staff she was very attentive and very polite. As usual this visit was a pleasure to go there for the carvery. Thank you to all the staff there who collectively make the visit a pleasant one.

Like majority tradittional Eanglish pubs. Breakfast - ate as much as you like. Food at times can be left so long on grill and be come hard and very crispy. On tables missing some bits, like no napkins or no forks, etc.

In out shake it all about, no frills just good food turn up eat and leave. Too easy.

Kirsty was amazing with my son. She was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure my son enjoyed eating here. The ice cream machine wasn't working so she made my son an ice cream and our sauce on it for him making it fancy. My little lad loved her. Can't fault this lady at all. Amazing staff member

A really nice lady called kira served me. She went out of her way to get me coffee as I'm disabled and she helped me with my food and drink back to the table. Also a lovely man called Luke cooked the food and got me fresh eggs as I can only eat runny eggs. His food is amazing. Very clean place the toilet was spotless. I can't normally eat alot but the food was that nice I ate loads and I wouldn't need anything else all day. Thank you to kira and Luke I really appreciate your service ❤️ xxx

The food is absolutely delicious, I’ve always loved coming to this pub for the carvery. The atmosphere and service it’s amazing, all staff are so friendly. Perfect for an occasional meal!

A good reasonably priced carvery. Look out for mid week offers. Can get busy so may need to book especially if in a big group

We visited the pub last Sunday and had a very positive experience. Special thanks to Kirstie for providing excellent table service and keeping our cocktails flowing nicely. A very big thankyou to Charlie the friendly chef who went the extra mile serving us with our beautiful cavery, couldn’t ask for 2 better staff!! Thanks definitely be visiting again!

Lady was lovely at the till but when I got home and checked my bank details I had been charged £5 too much. I ordered two small carvery, a coke and coffee and was charged £25.97. I think she's charged me for two large. So I quick cheap dinner cost me a lot more then expected.

Brilliant Carvery great helpful staff always willing to help always cheerful

so my wife fancied beef on her large carvery . the was a dry small scrag end and a new juicy beef joint but she was told she cannot have any of the new fresh beef until the dry bit had gone . we then waited 45 minutes for the three other main courses to arrive so never got to dine together as a family , £130 spent inc soft drinks . very disappointed. not very nice with all the just eat delivery people hanging aroung in the carvery servery area either . It used to be a nice experience visiting the lamwath , sadly that is in the passed

The service was excellent. The coffee wasn't really good could with improving the coffee. The food was quite nice i thought but the lady i was with didn't really enjoy it so this is why I'm only giving 3 stars.

Depressing, poor quality food, a few nice staff but a lot shout as a default setting and service on this visit was a shambles.

A good bog standard carvery. Fair prices compared to competitors and just as good a service and consistency in quality of food. Only downside is the non carvery options aren't always consistent and can turn out different to your order, although still tasty. Detail isn't high here but the prices makes it all worth it.

1 of the couple of severs that served us is called Ruth mel and I give her 5 stars and the other severs 5 stars

Ordered through the just eat app and food never turned up. When phoned them to find out what was happening they said it had been ticked off on their end. A males voice was heard saying not another one so obviously we weren't the only one.
