This is without a shadow of a doubt the best Chinese in hull and surrounding areas. Always freshly cooked with fresh ingredients. No slop or warmed up crap, and definitely no foods that are about to expire. There is a reason the phone is engaged when you want delivery and why people queue out the door, that reason being; the food is 100% and full of flavour every time.

Had food from iwok many times always been lovely, if we are wanting a Chinese this is where we always go

I've always rated iwok but got a takeaway tonight, everything was over cooked and dry will not use again it all ended up in the bin

Ordered my food at 6.25 got to 8.00 still no food!! Rang up to see if it was on the way and they had not even started cooking it !!!! Cancelled my order!!! If I could give no stars I would. VERY DISAPPOINTED and starving thanks for nothing !!!

It's been a fair few years since I've used iwok. I remember the food being really salty, or at least the dishes I tried were. Tbh, over the last few years, people I know seem to rate it very well now. So, with that in mind, I decided to give it a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised how it has changed. Although I've only had a few dishes, they have been very good indeed, certainly just as good as others in the area. I'm going to use this for a while now as it is reasonably close to my location. I'll update my review over time & and hopefully, I can award 5 stars!

Delicious food by iwok. It is worth it

Normally go in to collect, decided to order delivery, did say busy but after ringing twice after 2 hours and still no idea of how much longer it would be said to cancel it. NOT great customer service.

Fantastic food, staff are friendly for a takeaway.

I have tried most of the Chinese takeaways from holderness Road and the Sutton area, and iwock Compares favourably with any of them. The Chicken Chow Mein was better than in a lot of other takeaways, not as salty, and the flavour was excellent. The egg fried rice was very light and fluffy. There is very good allergy advice printed on the back of the menu. Something I have not seen at other Chinese takeaways. There is a TV to watch while you wait for your order, which was only about 10 minutes.

We order at 6pm and 1hour and 15min went past and no order so out lass rang them .and they said we have not cooked it yet and our delivery driver is not back so it will be in about 30 minutes time we will never order from this place again food was dripping in fat not nice at all

Once was regarding one of the best Chinese takeaway in hull. But tonight I'm disappointed chip's taste like they have being refried and taste like grease, the curry is rather thin and watery, the rice is best part. Hopefully it's just a blip

First time I have used this Chinese,ordered BQ spare Ribs they were swimming In sauce stringy sorry to say the were rubbish.

What a absolute joke order take away at 5:30pm on the 19/03/23 it still not arrived at 8:30 that a 3 hours wait when rang at 7pm it on next delivery still didn't arrive cancelled order ended up with cheese on toast for tea never will order again shocking then to ring at 8.30 it getting cook now will knock some money off what a joke 3 hrs wait don't take order if you can't handle them

Wanted a new Chinese, and this one DID NOT disappoint! The food is unreal, the best beef and black beansauce I've ever had. It was all fresh and boiling hot when it arrived! I will definitely be returning! This is now my new Chinese!!

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway the food is always delicious. The menu is extensive and the dishes are delicious and pricing is most acceptable. The service is polite and speedy and it has a top hygiene rating. I fully recommend that you give it a try.

Honestly the best chinese in hull! The food is amazing tastes so fresh, best chilli salt chicken going, noodles are absolutely lovely! & satay chicken skewers are beautiful 😍 The delivery drivers are always kind and lovely and even the staff who take the order over the phone are very polite and helpful They may not be on just eat, foodhub or uber but that's because they don't need to be! Its worth calling and paying cash, Honestly if you're reading this deciding wether to try you won't be let down!!!

Lovely food and service, shame about the early closing times.

The food was lovely but the delay was lengthy. We ordered at 18:30 then at 20:00 I rang and asked when we could expect delivery. The girl said it was next out. I feel that thy should tell customers if there is a probability that their delivery is going to be a while.

First order from iwok after moving to the area. Usually ordering is a gamble with new places but after the reviews we chose Iwok and the food was better than we normally have. I just wish they took card as well

Love this Chinese takeaway, crispy chilli beef fried rice and chilli chips... Also beef curry and prawn toast normally a hit with us. Im going to be trying more, its delicious. Friendly on the phone, always red hot when delivered. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese in Hull. Really friendly staff when you telephone your order. Fast delivery too. Really can't fault this Chinese takeaway. You can't find it on Just Eat etc. Cash on delivery via telephone order. Buy its so worth it. The spicy fries are to die for.

Not good. small portions, wierd burnt prawn crackers, Chips reheated hollow scraps, sweet & sour sauce tasted like ketchup mixed with vinegar.

Best Chinese in Hull! Recently moved to summergangs and after trying many many takeaways across the city, I have to say we've hit the jackpot! Our fat Friday tea time just got a whole lot more tasty 😋
