Excellent for on site restaurant. Quality ingredients, friendly staff

Me and my boyfriend stayed for the week at Ullswater Heights. We ended up visiting the lake house twice because the food was that good and service was incredible. Marcin, Olivia and Steph could not have been more attentive and friendly. The lasagna was one of the best I’ve ever had so can highly recommend, and the wood fired pizza was lovely! Definitely suggest a visit if you’re staying in the cabins!

We had a delicious meal during our stay at the holiday park, the service was very quick and efficient and Steph and Charlie provided perfect service, they couldn’t be more helpful and jolly. Would highly recommend!

The place is very modern and lovely inside. Feels really cosy with the fire heaters on. Staff are great and very polite and professional. The food isn’t the best for the price you pay for it. Overpriced low quality food which is a shame. I don’t mind paying good money for good food but I wouldn’t eat here again on my next visit.

Don’t come here expecting food. Ran out at 6.30.

40 pound for a bottle of wine that retails at 9.99.. wouldn't except card only cash ???

Always receive fantastic service and food. Been here multiple times and always delivers. If the sun is shining sitting outside is wonderful.

When we got there it was empty, we were taken to a table right next to where a ridiculous amount of vinegar had been spilled on the carpet. It was so pungent that you couldn't taste or smell anything else. I had to ask why it smelt so strong. The 'potato skins' were literally that. No filling. Just skins for an extortionate price? Service was below average.

We have visited the lake house restaurant a no of times The food is superb and the service is amazing.Martin the head waiter is so professional and polite and is a credit to the restaraunt.We cannot speak highly enough about him.We would definitely recommend this restaraunt. Mr and Mrs Mcandrew

Didn’t get any food but the food others received looked amazing

Do not eat here if you are in any way intolerant to gluten. After months of notice and ordering in advance, which was a shambles for my family members, they still served me gravy which contained gluten. I have been off work from my business since New Year due to my reaction which has resulted in a huge loss.

Sunday dinner here used to be the best around, however recent times have seen the quality deteriorate. Previously the Sunday lunch included an array of green vegetables, red cabbbage and also included both roast and mashed potato and a side of cauliflower cheese. You now get roast carrots, parsnips and roast potatoes and nothing else. The gravy used to be homemade and now tastes shop bought and very runny. The whole lunch was tasteless and at £14 is not cheap. We were disappointed with the quality this time which is a real shame as the service and atmosphere is very good.

Always enjoy coming here and the staff are friendly and the food is good. The pizzas are fantastic from their special pizza oven. Good to try the local ales.

The food was great each time we went there and the staff are all brilliant. The pizzas and chips are great, the only potential issue is the prices for the drinks but other than that, it is a fun and convenient place to visit when staying here

Not alot of vegetarian options as an alternative to halal as expected would not really cater.

Great little restaurant for a holiday park. Lovely location and views aided by it being a glorious sunny evening. Pizzas very nice, could have shared one as bigger than we anticipated and would have left room for pudding. Service was friendly, quick and considerate - the hostess remembered we had a little dog who needed shade and saved us just the right spot - thank you. Other waiting staff were all friendly too and seemed genuinely pleased to help. Would definitely visit again.

We went here a couple of times. Really enjoyed the food here. Not bad prices either.

We stayed in a cabin on sight and went for dinner here multiple times. Food was lovely, the linguine was delicious and the batter on the fish was nice and crispy. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding which was very sweet and a chocolate brownie which was lovely and gooey in the middle.

Lovely bar area. Staff are very good. Polite and very attentive. Food is great value for money. Pizzas are Lovely.

If you're staying here in a lodge definitely book for Sunday Lunch. Quick service, fair prices and very good food. We didn't try the pizzas but from what we heard they are also very good. There's a good selection of largest on offer and they weren't overcharging for them considering most places would take advantage of you on site. We would definitely visit again.

Great staff, lovely food. The pizzas are wonderful. There's a children's play park attached to the fully glass-enclosed restaurant with direct access. Good view our over the lake. A+

The themed menus aren't too big, but what they make is surprisingly nice. Nice views & dog friendly too.
