Gorgeous pub, with a lovely warm welcome. Cosy bar, with great choice of local beers. Excellent outside space, with heaters too, although would be superb on a hot summer's day. They weren't serving food on the night we went. I'd highly recommend parking up the top, as the road to the car park is extremely narrow and steep.

Such a lovely place with friendly, warm and welcoming. I loved walking there dog here and great bar snacks. Didn’t eat so can’t comment.

Well worth the trip. Was looking for a good pub for lunch today, and I found it! When I drove down Lynch Road I realised I'd been here before many years ago. Goats cheese baguette was great, and Stroud organic pale ale even better.

We were looking for an affordable place for dinner, and got much more. We loved the comfy atmosphere, and the really nice servers, we could tell that this was a place that locals go to often. The beer selection is nice, with all their cask beer taps ready to pour. The food was excellent, and arrived within a reasonable time from when it was ordered. We would definitely come back if we are in the area and looking for a nice place to eat and chill.

This is a brilliant pub which has been transformed with the covered outdoor space with heating and lights so can be used all year round.They recently hosted my birthday party, providing a wonderful buffet supper for 40 people which was complemented by everyone. We were lucky enough to have it on one of their monthly open mic nights with top notch musicians. Thanks to everyone.

This is a lovely little pub with a great outdoor space covered with a giant sail. Food is amazing but you need to book as they have a small kitchen. Well worth it.

Sunday lunch is superb. No frills or fancy menus, just great food, all freshly prepared. Roast beef cooked properly, not overdone. Staff were excellent. Off the beaten track, but well worth a visit.

Only stopped in for a pint whilst out on a walk but the barmaid was friendly and the drinks were good. Sat out in the garden under a stylish marquee top which was a nice shelter from the drizzle.

Great little pub with good beer and good food. Cosy inside but with more generous outside seating. Full of character and not that easy to get to as it is tucked away down a very narrow and, from one direction, very steep road. Worth it though.

Charming neighborhood pub, with great food and views. If you're in the area the fish and chips are worth a stop. The staff was very friendly, and the locals are used to visitors. Be sure to check out the pictures on the wall.

What a delicious home cooked classic meal, highly recommend! Only in the area for a few days and went once - Wish we could’ve gone for a second time.

Really lovely helpful staff, I had to change our booking and that was no trouble for them. No dogs inside but plenty of outdoor space with heaters. We went Sunday, you have to book for roast and the portion size was decent and tasted great 👍

Very enjoyable lunch in the garden today making the most of the late summer sun. Really nice bacon and brie sandwich with salad and crisps. Freshly cooked chips for the other half, with ham and eggs.

We had a Sunday lunch for 4 adults and two children. The portion size was very generous and the meal was first class. I have not had a better Sunday lunch away from home. The beef was tender and cooked perfectly, the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The veg was cooked really well and the gravy was better than home made. Overall this is a fabulous place to eat, the location is wonderful and I will be back.

Came to France lynch for a long weekend and had a Sunday roast at the Kings Arms. I ordered the vegetarian Wellington and I must admit, one of the best roasts I have had in a while! It took an hour for the food to arrive which wasn’t great but the Wellington was cooked fresh so it was worth it. Lovely beer garden too.

Had a lovely couple of days here, the place is spotlessly clean and Pat was lovely and very helpful with her directions. Definitely want to go back. Had a meal at the pub that was excellent. Thank you for having us.

Wonderful meal for my husband's birthday.

We stayed nearby in hope cottage, and only went along there one night near the end of our stay, as we were led to believe they were not a dog friendly pub. But not only were they dog friendly ,all the staff all the regulars were human friendly as well. Absolutely loved our night there, ended up sitting round with owner, handful of regulars and the lovely barmaid chewing the cud and having great time. Highly recommend this place

We came to this wonderful pub last night & both enjoyed the Tempura Prawns, & Lamb Shank, followed by Lemon sponge. It was just delicious !, fantastic culinary attention to detail & warm friendly service. Well, we just had to return tonight, & we sampled the beef Madras & smoked Haddock fish cakes; was it as good as last night !......... in a word, YES !, just delicious & faultless. This is a gem of an establishment, we totally recommend this delight of a place !

Lovely old pub nestled in a quiet valley. I was unable to eat because of a birthday party held on the premises at the time. Access by vehicle is a steep lane of the main road. There is a limited car park so many customers were parking on the main road and walking down. Nice outside seating area.

Perfect country pub in scenic cotswold Valley setting. Had delicious Greek salad and s superb Hereford Ales ipa. Good value and service, spacious beer garden to eat outside. Highly recommended!!
