New landlord and landlady ! Great atmosphere , me and my daughter love it here and will keep returning!

Held an event here yesterday. The booking process was easy, and they made the room look lovely for the occasion. Particular thank you to Josie who was so lovely and helpful.

This is my local pub I go to. Food is superb as well as customer service. Always have a great time there. Place is always tidy and clean. It has big beer garden so I enjoy summer drinks there.

Had a fantastic meal of fish and chips, and hake gnocchi. Food was lovely, far beyond expectations, and staff were friendly attentive and very very welcoming!

Food here is always amazing and last night tried the Chicken Burger and Eton Mess for the first time (sorry ate burger to quick for a picture 😂) I have never eaten a bad meal here and that is why it is our go to place to eat. The food is fantastic and the staff make you feel very welcome.

There was no food on and we were mostly the only people in the whole pub. But we were made to feel welcome by the staff with a stable choice of beers and some interesting shots and cocktails

Both myself and my Wife paid this place a visit today for some lunch. I opted for the Steak which was cooked to perfection and was outstanding. My wife opted for the belly pork….this was simply out of this world! We have eaten in quite a few high end restaurants, however my wife said that she has never eaten belly pork as good as this.We will definitely be back. Top marks to the Chef👍

We have visited the Kings many times as it is one of our locals. We enjoy visiting as it is a family friendly place and our child enjoys playing with the cards and board games that are supplied. We particularly enjoy popping down for a quick drink after work but be warned, one drink may turn into quite a few, especially if you're in front of the fire! We have tried most things on the menu, belly pork being one of the favourites! The menu is varied and provides customers with alternatives to suit dietary needs. There is a good choice on the lunch menu with generous portion sizes and starters and bar snacks if you wanted something smaller. The desserts are also very tempting, even after a filling main meal! The children's menu is good value for money especially during the holidays when children eat free when an adult has purchased a main meal. They stock a variety of bottled and drinks on draft including alcohol free options if you are driving. They have a coffee machine and can do a delicious hot chocolate which is perfect on a cold day! It's the ideal place to pop into after work and is also dog friendly if you're out and about in a walk. They provide water and treats as well. They also carry out functions including live music and bands. The staff are always friendly and polite and provide service with a smile. They will always try to accommodate requests with regards to seating and the menu to suit our needs. Overall we find The Kings Arms to be a welcoming local pub with good food, service and atmosphere!

A great little place to stop. Super helpful and friendly staff. Tasty lunches well priced. The highlight was the doggie lunches - rice, veg and a selection of good quality meat, it went down a treat!

Had food tonight and I must say was amazing. We all know how chewy rump can be but this was cooked to perfection. Clearly use amazing products and the rest amazing as well. I can honestly say it has made my night nothing better then good food and a warm welcome definitely advice anyone to go there who hadn't

Cosy environment with the log burner. We really enjoy coming down here for date night food and/or drinks. We have also had two Christmas parties here that have gone down very well. Highly recommend!

Yet another fantastic meal at the Kings Arms, so lucky to have this as our local. The menu has recently been updated and so much lovely choice. We had the steak and ale pie, blooming awesome and the Cumberland sausages and mash was amazing. We also had the garlic ciabatta, a new addition to the menu, and so damn tasty. This is probably one of the best food pubs in Plymouth, great food/drinks and amazing value for such a pleasurable dining experience in a lovely atmosphere

I've eaten here quite a few times now and it is always delicious food, a great selection of choices and the owners and staff are very friendly. Also a dog and child friendly pub with a great garden.

Always enjoy my visit here. Lovely welcoming and friendly staff, cosy decor with a lovely log burner to sit by whilst you eat and drink. Food portion is big, and quality of food is great. I would highly recommend the Hunters Chicken.

Last minute decision to eat out for Sunday Lunch, had not eaten at the Kings for some years but we will be back soon. Lovely food, quality produce and plenty of it. The staff were charming and helpful.

We had my step daughters wedding at Dean's establishment. In the kings arms pub Plymouth. The food was amazing. Sit down meal was lovely. The buffet for all the guests in the evening was fantastic value for money. This is my local pub and Dean and Vicky are amazing hosts if popping in for a drink of two or an avent. 100% recommended to anyone.

Was looking for a village pub near Plymouth and came across this pub online. Made the reservation online, which was easy. Pub is very easy to find and it is very nice looking outside and in. Staff and the locals were friendly and we could sit where we wanted. The food was amazing, well worth the money and you get loads. I actually couldn't finish mine, which is unheard of. Normally one of the men in the family can finish others and they struggled aswell. Will definitely use again, thankyou 🙂

We arrived and were welcomed warmly and seated immediately by friendly staff. Orders taken at the bar, again, by friendly helpful staff who were able to ask any questions we had. The food arrived, was hot and generous portion sizes and amazing quality, we have not enjoyed a meal out like this in a long time. Staff came to check all was ok, and cleared away the used plates etc . Was an amazing evening, we will be back again and again. 10/10! Thank you.

Amazing place and food! I went there with my children and some friends and we sat in the garden, the atmosphere was lovely, lovely music in the background and a great play area for the children to play with so they are happily occupied while you can enjoy lovely food and drinks. Definitely go there again and definitely recommend!

Friendly and comfy looking pub. Fellow customers were greeted as regulars which is always a good sign. We had fish and chips. Beautiful piece of fish with crispy batter and golden chips and we chose garden peas with our dish. Bob enjoyed his pint and I had a lovely pint grigio in a crystal cut wine glass. Sooty, the little dog we had with us was welcome and a bowl of fresh water was given to us. Please get in some de cafe coffee.

We regularly visit the Kings either for a quick drink, food or night out! It is a lovely, friendly family run pub and we enjoy popping in for a quick drink after work. The staff always welcome us with a smile. We've been for food quite a few times and have tried out most of the menu 🙈 The burgers and belly pork are particular favourites! The children's menu is suitable for all ages and cooked fresh. They are good sized portions and it is always presented well. The chocolate brownie is a must! We really enjoy visiting this pub as the staff are always able to accommodate our needs and it has a local feel, especially right by the fire. It's definitely one to try whether you wanted a quick drink to wind down or want a night off from cooking!

We’ve been to The Kings a couple of times since they’ve been under the new management and been very impressed each time. Staff are fantastic and the food is incredible! Great value for money and a lovely pub atmosphere. Highly recommend.

After complaing the roast beef was rare it was taken back then another brought back full of fat and grizzle it was utterly disgusting, my husband struggled through his, was charged £38 including our drinks and wasn't offered anything off on paying ,been using this pub for years and never once had a problem with meals. Sorry! will not be going back!
