This is a great pub does get busy but worth a visit

What looks like a fine old pub exterior, which is what drew us to it (though it was surrounded with scaffolding when we went). A great sprawling interior, and though clearly an Irish pub. it has an indie rock pub vibe. We found a cosy corner with some old wing back chairs. We'd definitely go back there.

Very busy but reasonably priced drinks and friendly service, albeit there can be a queue, especially when there is live music. Novel use of the Magistrates Court entrance 😁

Overrated irish bar. Bit grotty and no real atmosphere.

What can you say about Kitty's. It's an Irish bar down a little historic side street. I think they have live music every now and again or have done in the past. St Patrick's day is of course big here in Plymouth or was when I frequented it a few years back. Just popped in for a quiet drink on a Sunday evening and sat outside in the nice summer evening. It was pleasant enough. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I love kitty's, they have bands on, inside and outside too. The staff are freindly..if you are. It and alrounder of a pub.

In all my years of growing up on the Barbican, this is the first time I have been into Kitty's. It's deceivingly quite big inside. With 2 bars and 6 Guinness pumps. Staff were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere.

Good when there's sport on, good staff.

Great Irish bar in Plymouth centre, has live bands, beer good and girlfriend likes the “on draught” espresso martini.

Irish theme bar. Spit and sawdust, literally. However they advertise themselves as a six nations pub, but don't have an England flag on show. When I asked why they just laughed a said it's always in the wash. Sad really that they will fly an Italian and French flag but not England. Shall not be revisiting until they can show some respect to the country they trade in!

Although it was an early evening, only 3 customers so couldn't fairly judge the place/ atmosphere.. From last experience though, it's a great pub for watching any main rugby match.

Didn't have food but it was a very pleasant and fun atmosphere in there and that was just lunchtime.

I didn't eat there so I can't say how the food is. However for a few drinks and a crack I would give it a go.

Stopped in with a friend for an ice cold Guinness, which went down very well.

Fab group for st Patrick day. Good service at bar, but so cold ! Doors and draughts open everywhere.

All good as usual. Saturday afternoon so no too busy, ticking over nicely. Good beer and a place to sit and have a natter. We did not go in for food this time.

Great to be back at Kitty's fantastic evening thanks to Ultan and his staff so well organised all Covid precautions in place and we felt very safe enjoyed some great food which was a first for us and our two friends here. Definitely would recommend a visit sure you will enjoy the experience.

Pretty good pint of guiness but not the best I've ever had. Brought my dog in with me and was greeted with a mini pup tapas and water, excellent service.

Always a good place to stop for a few pints. Brilliantly placed between town and barbican, staff are friendly and other pub users are decent people too. Usually a sign of a well managed pub.

What a lovely pub!! Staff are very friendly and joyful in fact, the best in Plymouth, I would say the landlord would be proud; it’s just the door staff, they do not reflect the establishment with their professionalism or attitude. Rude and aggressive attitudes can ruin your night. They need to take a leaf from the staff from behind the bar with customer service. Hey Ho, shame. The atmosphere is great. The staff behind that bar have respect for their paying customers and are a pleasure to be around; but, unfortunately the ‘big I am’ door attendees just see it as another platform for their self centred self stylised stage, to give it the large. Please please please get rid of these particulars as they are a bad reflection and trust your bar staff because they’re quality and so are your customers.

Great little place tucked out the way. Better than queuing in the main over priced bars.

We had drinks here over the weekend a gang of us with our partners . Atmosphere was lively. Setting was cosy. Nice selection on drinks. Staff ok

What a great amount of unexpected fun to be had! They had Mad Dog Mcrea playing on Friday 4th June and I couldn't have been happier! The Irish, upbeat nature of the music had me forgetting where I lived for a moment. This event was entirely free. They never charge even for the craziest events where you'd usually pay about £50! Lovely staff as well, lovely little nest in a historical location. I'd post photos but I only have videos from an entire crowd dancing to a few Irish jjgs

Always use this place for our welcome first drink, good polite service and a jukebox.

The young lady who served us was lovely, our dog Rik was made feel very welcome and had his own bowl of water as well as some treats. It's still the best pint of Guinness in town

Good to drop in for a visit on a Friday night. Has live music occasionally, which is a bonus.
