I went here yesterday and got the doner box with cheese, and it was soooo gooood. The portions are filling and the food is available at affordable prices! I was served by Alisha, who was so sweet and patient enough to help me decide what to get without rushing me. Overall, both the service and food were 10/10.

This was the first time have ordered from here and although was a bit late was with the wait. Food was fresh and really tasty would recommend and defo order from here again.

Very small portions for the price charged. I woud not order again. It tasted the same as any other donner kebab so in future I will order from another kebab shop where portion sizes are more than double (and usually cheaper than GDK too.

Best atmosphere and the staff are polite and friendly

Portions are always filling and the food is to a great quality. GDK offers affordable prices with the option to upgrade to a meal deal for under £11, four of us ate here (two meal deals) and two regular meals for £35. I would recommend eating here if you fancy a filling and affordable meal out with friends and family.

cold chips and large portion look like medium portion. kebab wrap without flavour very blend chicken meat, and salad inside wrap.

Visited German Doner Kebab recently and it was very pleasant experience. Well satisfied with food and atmosphere. Specially Bishan was very friendly and great service!

I really wanted help but the lady on the rill ignored us for 5mins and later said i should use the self-service. I wanted to customise my meal and ask about the salad because of a previous bad experience i had with the take away. I love the doner kebab, but this the 3rd time have been disappointed. The salad wasn't fresh at all, the lettuce had gone off, the colour wasnt appealing at all. The red cabbage had big leaves it. I used to enjoy the GDK in reading and i think the Plymouth one is not offering the same services. What i liked about the GDK is the salad but to be given a lettuce that looks yellow or beige, i have attached a photo. I dined in so the quality wasnt compromised by delivery or take away. The chicken looks like pulled chicken not a kebab. Looks like baby food. The chicken was so small not the portion but it looked like it had been mashed. Was introducing my friend to it but she was disappointed. I was embarrassed today. The sauces were good, fries superb, the chicken was tasty but they need to adjuat the shaver, that chicken looked like pulled chicken not a kebab.

Food is good, and has big portions for what you pay too. Sometimes takes a while to get it if it’s busy though.

Whats better than the food here is the service. The manager Bishan is a friendly chap who served us with the OG kebab. It definitely stood up to the recommendation. Will be visiting again for sure to try the rest of the menu.

The place is chill with a nice atmosphere which is exactly the type of place I like to eat at, the kebab wrap I had tasted so good and all round there was no complaints, great customer service especially from vicky, looking forward to coming back soon.

I ordered doner burgers and diner box fries today,I was disappointed because they arrived cold. We didn't enjoy our food at all.

Food excellent as always, only criticism is that it was pretty cold when we got it.

This is probably my favourite fast food chain. Although you can probably get a slightly better kebab at an independent shop, nothing beats the consistently amazing kebab from here. I tried the Doner Burger, and it was great, but in my opinion nothing tops the original! Overall a great place to eat, would definitely recommend!

this is the worst takeaway away I have EVER had. it was completely unedible. it was overpriced. hardly any meat in the meals. the bread was hard and burnt. clearly yesterday previous days bread. the large fries were equivalent to a small McDonald's kids size fries. i was embarrassed for this takeaway place to be honest. requested my money back as we couldn't eat the food and they gave me 5 quid. I will never order from this place again and I will be telling everyone not to bother either.
