What an absolute amazing pub, every time I go there whether it’s with friends or family I’m always treated incredibly by the staff! The fish and chips are amazing! Super fresh food and huge portion size! The superior Emma really looked after me and made sure that my experience there was nothing short of incredible! Big shout out to the GM Jimmy who knows how to run a tight ship! Thank you Emma for the recommendation on food and drink, you really made the experience there 10Xs better! Would recommend this venue to anyone in the area looking for an incredible night out!

I saw a customer get attacked by the head chef today along with their supervisor. I heard the staff lying to the police when they arrived and got some other customers to agree with what they said which was inaccurate do not trust this pub I am still in shock. Update to the response from the Kings Arms. The customer didn't step inside the kitchen he was standing outside of the door. He was escorted away from the kitchen and the kitchen started calling him a crackhead so he went back and stood outside the door. This guy obviously was not a crackhead because he was with a another man and a child and was wearing expensive clothing.

The food was disgusting I did not eat it I stopped at McDonald's on my way home. Wetherspoons food is better quality and a quarter of the price. Avoid this pub for food!!!!

Great venue for food drinks and catch major sports. Does a great roast dinner. Been here a few times. Outside garden has a cover over in winter and they take it off in summer. Burger shack is decent. The sandwiches were a little too big as I choose a sandwich as wasn’t overly hungry. The bread was like super thick.

Mike was great. Went out of his way to charge my phone. Service was fantastic all night.

Had the most lovely lunch with the kids! Best burger I've had in a while, great fish & chips, nice cold beer, lovely energetic staff, and the toilets soo clean. Really impressed and we all had a great time, kids and grown ups alike❤️

Great place for a Sunday roast. Good portions, I had the rump beef and my girlfriend had the pork belly, mine was good but hers... Crackling skin on top, tender meat underneath... *Chefs Kiss* best roast I had in a long time!

Jimmy is an extremely rude and disrespectful employee. Pretended to be nice at first and then I dropped by drink in front of him and he kicked me out of the kings arms. I would highly recommend getting rid of him.

WOW. The smoking area has more buzz than a beehive and backs onto the river to make it just that little bit sweeter. Get to know about this spot ASAP!

The staff are incredible and make you feel like you’ve just stepped onto a red carpet. Never fail to put a smile on my face, I will be back!

If you drink in any other pub you’re wasting your money

Wow this place is lovely, I went for a friend's birthday, the football was on too, England, so the place was packed. The staff were amazing, no long waits at the bar and they were all so friendly. Great atmosphere (which to be fair was helped by England winning). Great food too. Oh and it's dog friendly. I'll definitely be returning.

Asked for a pint with a splash of cordial and an aperol spritz with a splash of cordial too. Got charged a quid for each splash making my pint of cider and an aperol spritz £19.80! I live on the High street and have been drinking in the pub for 7 years and have always accepted its an expensive place but that's a joke by anyone's standards. Truly shocked and it's the final straw for me.

Watched the England game, the place was packed but the staff were fantastic, there were plenty of them and they were working hard. Well done for getting organised as there was no real wait at the bars and the food came quickly!

Unbelievable experience, would recommend to everyone

I booked a table for the England v Serbia game two months in advance and after a previous visit where they messed up the seating (I booked for 12 people and was put on 3 separate tables not next to each other) I called up to make sure that we had a good position to watch the match and was promised a good spot in front of their 'big new screen'. We got stuck right at the back of the pub by the river where they had a regular screen and we were put so far back in this narrow channel we couldn't see. Luckily another table didn't turn up and we could sit closer. Every time I've booked this pub for a sports fixture I've had an issue and will probably not bother to go there again now. Shame as the table service was very quick despite being busy (albeit it's very expensive by other local pubs who have a better offering in terms of watching sport.

Such a nice place to sit and chill great food great drinks

The pub itself is nice but the service was frustrating. We were asked to leave our table for a reservation despite the reservation time not being for another hour. Later, when we stood up to say bye to our friends, our drinks were picked up and taken away without us seeing. Frustrating when it is over £7 a pint!

If you are a person of colour or non British, please avoid it! The customer who was racist towards my group got rewarded with drinks while we got kicked out. Please make it make sense! Updated review as owner reponsed: The racist table was rewarded with drinks and were not asked to leave within 5 mins as there was a member of my family still inside. So I didn't see the point if this is how such behaviour is rewarded considering how our night started. Your management staff made the girl who was apologising feel very unsafe as she was getting pushed out when she was trying to get the belongings off the table. Her only mistake was that she was on the same table, and she got a drink thrown at her also and was called names while walking out. She rightly so called you and your staff racist for this behaviour. On top of this fantastic behaviour, I can also confirm the professionalism of your staff as our reservation was thrown out by a group of white men and when we told this to your staff they asked us to leave cause we didn't techinically have a reservation. This was around 18.45ish. If this is how your staff deals with escalations, honestly as mentioned in my earlier comment, bless the people of colour or non British citizens.

Not an amazing beer selection by any means although they did have steady rolling man form Deya on tap. Did pay over seven quid for it though. Decent enough pub but may as well go to the ram

Where to start…. We held my son and daughter-in-laws baby shower here yesterday and from start to finish the service was OUTSTANDING. Nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated anything we needed. Friendly, helpful and the food was amazing

One of my fave weekend spots in wandsworth town and especially for bank holidays. The outdoor beergarden is lovely and djs are also good. Service is a bit slow and often misses requests (eg. Ordering extra sauce - never arrived), and food is also not my favourite. Menu changes a lot and is quite niche, majority of menu was also sold out by 3pm on the weekend. But for a pub it is alright. The atmosphere though makes it a great spot!

Best place to be on bank holiday! Great dj and customer service! Emily makes the best espresso martinis ! Jimmy is also incredible!

Often come here after work or on weekends and it’s always a vibe, especially during euros and world cups! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating, an amazing selection of beers, wines, spirits, and the Kings Smash burger is a must! Definitely recommend this pub🍻

Good pub for a pint. However not very good choices on Food menu. Ok for one off pint stop. Service and staff very kind.

Very poor - the interior of the pub stank of old fish, the Asahi had zero carbonation, and the outdoor area was extremely dirty with fox excrement on the cushions and detritus in the walkways. When they're charging £7.50 a pint, just one of the above would be shameful, but when it's all three, it's simply unacceptable; Young's pubs have really declined.

£7.15 for a pint is outrageous. The pub smells violently of urine. And has NO pork scratchings. To qualify the response to the venue, it was indeed the King's Arms Wandsworth on Wandsworth High Street. I was being kind. The pints were, in fact, £7.50.

Popped in, had some sort of orange caramel chicken bites, were unreal. Gardens decent too, had a hut for me and my mates, was great vibes. Deffo back down next bank holiday!

I’ve had the beef Sunday roast and it was ok! Was expecting a bit more from the potatoes , which were more on the dry side. The beef was good and the gravy helped , overall fine but nothing extraordinary

Pretty pricey. My Mozerrella was flooded with a dozen tomatoes. Not sure they know how to make salads. It bc a joke at the table how many tomatoes could I possibly eat. Bill for4 ppl was €100??? I wouldn’t ever go there.

Great service + friendly staff. Let down by ‘burnt’ looking fish and chips. The waiter kindly changed it for us but the replacement fish was the same (just slightly better). The batter was inedible because it was hard and dry but the fish inside was ok.

A little expensive (more than £7 for half a pint of Camden! London prices though!) however it's a beautiful restaurant pub, a wonderful atmosphere, the perfect place to wait for my partner and enjoy a beer - she had an appointment in the nearby TLS visa centre. Perfect music with a spot on volume level, some really interesting art on the walls and very tastefully decorated. Really friendly staff. The menu looked interesting and I'll be sure to come back and try some lunch here.

What a cracking pub! The fish finger sandwich is so crispy!

Very nice menu and will be looking forward to coming back sometime. We both had the roast which was great. The only thing lacking was the gravy, it didn't seem to have much flavour.

Great food and atmosphere! Beer garden is large and packed in warmer weather. Excellent food definitely would recommend!

Good pub but let down by rude restaurant staff. Very poor service at the restaurant. Forced to pay service charge despite having to go to the till to order and no table service for drinks. Server threatened to serve my food without a plate when I questioned this with a rude demeanour. Extremely bizarre.

Nice decor, service and atmosphere. Pub grub has really raised the standard and the King's Arms is a good clean fun tavern.

It used to be a great place, now they allow people to smoke outdoor not in the smoking area but all over where people eat and drinks.. then yesterday 16th of Feb 2024 me and a friend expirienced the rudest security ever, which didn't even give a second for us to stand up when we needed to move from the outdoor to the indoor due closing time, when I said ok trying to reach for my coat he told me " stand up now then" in a manner that honestly was shocking and disgusting, I am a customer, I expect people that works in a place where I go to talk to me nicely not like a beast with zero manners. It is a shame as before was a lovely place to go, the food is still great and the other people who works there are nice, but honestly I left there very upset on having this treatment. This security should be trained in talk to people with manners or be removed, none goes out to want to be treated like this.

I suggest all you look at the answer of the pub to my review and comment . It clearly shows how terrible and unprofessional they are with their answer to a customer with such horrible message build with excuses and lies !! It is good that thet put that reply so people can now saw what kind of a horrid service we had !! Instead of apologising as their reply, they were rude and full of excuses and lies !! We were at this pub last sunday with rezervation. The food was horrible, sunday roast were burnt, the potatoes were so bad and dry burnt that I couldn’t even cut it with a knife. Our dishes came more than hour late and also COLD !! Service especially the woman presented herself as manager was extremely rude. When we wanted to talked to her about our food, she behaved shamefully ! I have never experienced such a terrible service anywhere! IWhoever owns that pub should really evaluate that woman, she is definitely damaging their business. I do not recommend anyone this pub!!

Servers don't seem to want to serve, had to go to bar to order as we got completely forgotten about, had 5 staff members look at our empty plates and look the other way, and took 25 mins to get the bill - no apologies, or even a "how was it". Shame as the chef is alright! Don't work in customer service if you have zero interest in creating a nice customer experience.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. We had reserved a table but once shown to our seats, never had a staff member visit our table again, we had to go to the bar to order and then waited a long time for the roast dinners to arrive. Once we had eaten, we had to ask for the table to be cleared and even ended up taking a couple of plates to the bar as it took so long. Staff were very rude with no customer service. It’s a shame as the food was nice.

Really disappointing that we sat at a table, near the entrance, and had felt the need to leave a blocker on the double door entrance to prevent people entering the establishment from leaving the doors open, as was the doors want from technology. The disappointment came from when, what was obviously a worker at the establishment, entered and effectively threw the chair at us, somewhat disgruntled at it being there or perhaps her having to work the Saturday night, but made us feel uncomfortable in the environment we were in and made us want to leave swiftly. A shame all around, as it seemed like a nice pub.

Great place for some beers, the food is really good quality and definitely try out the quiz, Harvey is world class! Cannot recommend this place enough.

To be honest nice venu.. we went for a Christmas dinner which was horrible. Service was very slow. Roast was raw, Brussels like stone, Potatoes over fried. The brownie was like goo. Most of our plates went back. Manager tried to say a dozen of us were wrong. I'm sorry but it's a first and last for me personally. The MC Donald's on the way home was better.

We had an excellent team Christmas lunch at the King's Arms last week. We managed to get the private space, at the front of the pub, which worked perfectly for our group. The staff were friendly, helpful and on the ball. The pub is well priced and the food quality was very good, we all enjoyed our meals. Some of the team relocated to the Secret Garden and spent the whole evening there, which was brilliant. We sat in a cabin, with patio heater, so were plesantly warm. The rounds of Baby Guiness shots certainly helped! Would recommend.

Rosie behind the bar convinced me to book the private room and go to this pub for our work Christmas party a few months ago and it did not let us down!! We had such a fantastic night! The food was amazing and with so many great options on the menu for everyone (the roast potatoes are by far the best I’ve had). The private room is super cosy with a private bar and great for large groups. Not to mention the staff are so friendly and such a great help. We had such a great night and were well looked after! I booked the Kings Arms for our works Christmas lunch. The KA team was great in responding to emails quickly, helping with different food requests and flexible with last minute changes. The table was set up all Christmassy and the staff on the day were very attentive and generally really friendly. We had a mishap with a lost phone later in the evening but the same team found it and got in touch so all was not lost. Thank you to the team, we all had a lovely afternoon, good food and a really good atmosphere. Happy Christmas!

We had our work Christmas Party Dinner here last night, and it was honestly incredible. We had a private room set up for the 20 of us which was decorated so nice and Christmassy. The food and service was great. We had pre ordered food and drinks, where the drinks were all laid out for us, where we could help ourselves, and it was very relaxed and just lovely.
