The Keswick Kitchen in Allerdale

This is absolutely a Cumbrian secret for Sunday Lunch.. 4 of us and our dog were here for our meal, it was wax hot and delicious, the Roast Beef was fantastic just made to perfection and the deserts were amazing. We will definitely be back when we return to the Lake District. The team were very friendly, the golf course views were stunning, the weather was just perfect, thank you for a great experience. Rose

This was our 2nd visit to the Sunset Supper Club with friends, the food was superb, fantastic menu, everything delicous. We have been lucky enough to visit Michelin Starred resteraunts and have to say we felt the food was definately on par, as well as the presentation and the excellent service from Tim and Jackie. Thanks to all of you - we have allready booked again for 2 different nights in the future, it is very reasonably priced too. Ten out of ten from us x

Visited Keswick Kitchen for Lily’s Vegan trip around the world with my family this weekend. My mum is a meat eater who refuses to eat anything I make as soon as she knows it’s vegan. I told her to come with an open mind and she effortlessly finished every course! I kept trying to take pictures of every ‘country’ and then forgetting because it was so delicious (which explains the picture of the empty dessert plate! 😂). Please please PLEASE do another one before you leave in April. And if the sunset supper club is anything like this evening, it’s well worth a visit ☺️

Highly recommend! Fantastic Sunday Roast, had Lakeland Beef Brisket, cooked to perfection. Enjoyed Sticky Ginger Pudding and custard for dessert. Will be visiting again in the future, can’t wait.

Very very good two course meal, steak pie, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. We came as a group and was well looked after.

Excellent Sunday lunch! Staff couldn’t do enough to help us which we really appreciate as my other half is in a wheelchair.

My husband had a Cumberland sausage and egg buttie with a side of chips and I had a cheese toastie that came with tortillas coleslaw & salad and we were extremely impressed! The food was very tasty and a very good portion, the ambience and customer service was excellent and its very clean. They had specials on the board and a veggie curry which I look forward to trying soon! Our 2 dogs were made welcome, they had towels at the door to dry them off and brought them some fresh water, thank you so much! We will be back very soon..

Called in Saturday lunchtime on my way to Keswick. WOW ! What an amazing place - scenery, food, staff …. everything ! Staff were so lovely, even made my little dog feel genuinely welcome! Lunch was great - a huge portion of scampi with chips and salad, cooked and presented beautifully. Greed then got the better of me - and I’m glad it did ! I then had a delicious sticky toffee pudding with custard …. yum ! I will be back as soon as possible !

Lovely setting and the food was pretty good and great value. The staff were 10/10.I thought the inside of the restaurant was ok but definitely needs a makeover as it reminded me of a Berni Inn back in the 80's. Decor tired and cluttered but clean. TBH in my opinion it wasn't worth the journey from Keswick. Apologies for being a party pooper but just wasn't what I expected from a number 1 rated restaurant.

Just delicious! We enjoyed a fabulous evening at our first Supper Club last night. Our hosts were excellent- friendly and really welcoming. Everything put in front of us was absolutely delicious! As we were there due to a cancellation, we shared the table with a lovely local couple so all-in-all, we had a really excellent experience. Will definitely try to book a table next time we are in Keswick.

I had heard so many good things about the keswick kitchens sunset dinner club and we were so lucky to get a cancellation the night before my birthday, it really did live up to expectations the food was so delicious , the night we went the weather was fab so we could sit outside and enjoy the view while enjoying drinks and canapés, the ginger bread that the boar burgers were served in were delicious as was all of the courses, the main course was Cumbrian pork served in various ways, it all tasted so good as did the berry bonanza dessert, I couldn’t fault a thing, the service we received was brilliant, Jackie adds to the dining experience. Thank you. It was also so nice to have a catch up/ chat with Linda I didnt realise she worked there but she came out to chat , so nice as I hadn’t seen her for years! Keep serving up the delicious food and giving excellent service, I hope to be lucky enough to get booked in again soon.

The food at Keswick Kitchen is delicious! We had a Sunday lunch of traditional roasted chicken, dressing, gravy, vegetables and potatoes. The starters offered were equally tasty. We were too full for dessert, but it was a temptation !The restaurant itself overlooks the Keswick Golf Club with the majestic Cumbrian fells above. It is very comfortable and accommodating. We all agree that our meal at Keswick Kitchen was by far the best we have had while in the UK. Another fantastic dining experience at Keswick Kitchens Sunset Supper Club . After a very warm welcome from Jackie and Tim, the 8 course taster menu started with canapés on the terrace looking at the beautiful Mountain View’s, followed by the rest of the locally sourced dishes cooked by the amazing chef David . Every course was a surprise, so before each one Jackie appeared and introduced the next, ranging from Grasmere ginger bread wild boar burgers, Cumbrian street food , a trio of Cumbrian pork , a berry bonanza trio of desserts and coffee and sweet treats in the lounge , not forgetting delicious flapjackson to take home ! We throughly enjoyed every course and had a really great night , we can’t wait to return in August and were very lucky to get a cancellation to come on this night , it’s just so good and so popular, if you get the chance to book then do!
