The Kennington Cafe in Ashford

Came across this little gem and have to say we were not disappointed! The service was great as was the food! All freshly made and everything cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back thankyou!

Went lunch time absolutely chaotic one person cooking waited ages for food service they don’t no how to keep up with serving and organising never again

Had a lovely breakfast here at the cafe. It’s my first time coming here I was just looking for somewhere to eat whilst I wait for my nail appointment. They were very accommodating of the alterations to my order and gave me extra food in replacement. If I’m down this side again I’ll deffo attend again :)

What can I say 50 min wait for a breakfast and not nice We ask the waitress for our food and she said the chef is still smoking and drink outside We never goin again.

I take my dad here once a month. Been three times so far. Warm friendly and super fast service. Food is clean fresh and tastes great. Me and dad have sampled the cooked breakfast and sausage and mash, looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks

Was in the area and decided to pop in today with my son. I had a lovely meal, very clean, with great friendly staff, providing a great service, good size portions and was reasonable priced as well, meal was cooked to perfection. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be returning in the future 👍

Kingsley was honestly one of the coolest nicest waiters I have ever had. He is 100% going far in the world. Food was amazing too. This place is a must visit if you're a tourist in London looking for a PROPER full English. Vegan breakfast also available

We have been to this cafe 3 times now, food is 10/10 cooked beautifully, didn’t take long at all. Very accommodating for my autistic 4 year old. All staff are friendly, chatty and will do anything too help. This will now be our cafe of choice! Thank you staff at Kennington cafe!

On a tremendously rainy summer's day, we stumbled across this cafe accidently. They were quite busy, I think everyone had the same idea! However, the staff welcomed us immediately and took our order. They told us there was a bit of a wait, and they were attentive. They were calm and genuinely warm people. We had breakfast, which was huge and freshly cooked. Chef was amazing when I ordered the wrong thing. I totally recommend the 'bubble' (and squeak), was delicious! The price is average for the recession, and we prefer to support local businesses in the area. This may well be our new regular. Highly recommend, even if just for a coffee, the staff are wonderful. Thank you for a lovely service.

Always have amazing service from the happy and friendly staff, today we opted for the chicken kebab, comes with rice, chips and salad but being on slimming world we lost the chips. Well worth it, great flavours, with the mild chilli sauce just finished it off. Definately have again. There is ample free parking and I often bring my grandkids along they love a breakfast here. They are always so friendly and chat to the kids. Even have children's cutlery.

Super friendl6 staff and a great chef who knows what he's doing I was supposed to order a sausage jumbo roll but ended up ordering a egg jumbo roll instead and when I'd got there the chef told me what I ordered and I said was supposed to be a sausage roll and he changed it for me

What a great little place the Kennington Cafe is. I experienced a fantastic friendly welcome, superb service and a delicious, freshly cooked meal in modern, comfy and spotlessly clean restaurant. Already looking forward to next visit. Keep up the great work guys !

The food and the service was great . BUT you wait such a long time for your food to come , it sits on the counter top waiting for the lovely girls to bring to you , but its not the girls fault its Having one cook with the customers and take out .

Great quality food at a fair price. Really lovely and friendly staff. Always receive a warm welcome when I go which always adds to the experience of any restaurant. The design of the cafe is also very modernised and slick. Only recommendation is that they invest in plastic cups for children in case of any accidents.This has become a weekend treat for me and my daughter. If you haven’t already, visit this cafe!

This place has alot going for it and it was a great location to open a cafe. Loads of free parking if you need it. It is clean and smart with really friendly staff. I have had the Kennington Special about 3 times now. Always perfectly and freshly cooked. Whilst it is a big breakfast, unlike some cafes it doesn't sacrifice quality for quantity...and the Bubble & Squeak is the best you'll get!
