Great food, and friendly service

Went out for dinner 7 of us and we had a great time. The food was fresh and delicious, the starters of fresh bread and the garlic and chili were excellent. The service was out of this world, so friendly and kind. The Turkish tea was excellent tea 10/10 felt like I was in Istanbul.

I could not recommend this place enough! My friends and I had dinner here last weekend and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious, packed with flavour, authentic and very fresh (salads are fantastic). When trying to give a tip with the bill, the waitress refused and said the smiles on our faces were enough for them to know we enjoyed our experience - I was taken aback by her kindness! A really lovely experience and it was a pleasure supporting a smaller business. They also have takeaway options which I have used previously and received impeccable service. Toilets and restaurant also super clean! You must try!

Amazing food with such good vegetarian options as well as plenty of meat options and some fish too. Everything I had was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough, I’ll be back every time i’m in Balham!

Kebab Company in Balham service the best kebabs and burgers in South London. You always get complimentary Turkish tea, which is so nice I went out to buy it, and I am not a tea-lover per sec. The service is lovely, and the restaurant was recently refurbished, giving it a more inviting feel. It is well worth a visit to try out the cuisine....the mixed kebab with chips is mouth watering!

Always a pleasure to eat here. The food is amazing in a beautiful setting. Staff are accomodating. Parking a bit difficult before 6 but side roads usually have a spot.

Ordered on just eat. Took 2.5 hours to deliver and they just kept extending the delivery time. Rang 10x and they only finally answered on Google maps messages. Food is good but service could improve

The best place in London where we found warmth, delicious doner kababs and falafel. Very warm people and everything was cooked at home. Super delicious meal served by wonderful couple.

I've been eating out at this restaurant for over 10 years, and it is one of the best places in South London. The Minted Lamb burgers are especially amazing. The service is fantastic, and the staff are extremely friendly.

I must say i had to record what was happening here and im glad i did as 4 hours later i was bringing all my food back up .. firstly i saw the cook touch everything i mean EVERYTHING with his fingers Even started picking someones cheese off their burger because they didnt want cheese (picking and scraping with his fingers) Nasty. I saw him wipes them same hands on his top, scratching his head, itching his belly, and still using them same sweaty, greasy, meaty fingers on peoples food… even worst he was touch all the salads and everything with fingers, it was actually sickening to watch. I had to express that i dont eat red meat so him touching everything wasnt going to work and i wanted a refund .. instead the women who also had no gloves but was using utensils had to make it for me which put me at easy but still he was for some reason after i said not him was still man handling my food. I wouldnt eat here and to be honest they need a visit for the health services someone, food hygiene they need a professional chef who knows the basic kitchen rules .. i don’t recommend this place it used to be soo much better but now its a -4/10 for me

Honestly, this place never disappoints. I love their food, and so does my family. My husbands favourite item on the menu is the minted lamb burger, which is just scrumptious 😋 today I went in for lunch takeaway and was greeted and given free tea while I waited for my takeaway. Loved the kindness and generosity.

My favourite kebab place, definitely best mixed meat shawarma's , without a doubt. Meat tastes really good salad is cut small and they wrap it nice and tight fit easy eating. The wings are very good and so are the steak burgers. Edit: After quite some time closed. Happy to share that The Kebab Company, Balham has reopened 🎉 Update: has reopened, still great but prices have gone up a lot. From £15 for 2 now it's £9.50 for 1, mixed meat shawarma wrap 😔. Burgers are very good they do Lamb or steak and chicken wings too.

I have the bream here form time to time and it is absolutely brilliant I really look forward to it and the salad i come from really tasty I live the little yellow pepers that come with it

I knew I should Of listened to my gut feeling but just wanted some quick, as I walked in I ordered a chicken shrama wrap came home to eat in comfort took a bite and said no way am I finishing this. Nothing fresh about the salad they used and the meat alone was not nice. The body knows when fresh food is being consumed! Best to stick to my home native food.

Locked myself out of my car yesterday and the staff here were so kind, offered me their set menu out of hours and free tea refills. Food was delicious on top of that.

I ate here for the first time yesterday and not only was the food lovely in the beautifully decorated restaurant, but the family who own and run this business are really friendly as are the other staff who work in here too. Highly recommended and the spicy sauce is really spicy!

I've been to kebab company many times over the last 6 months, and I have to say that the food and service are consistent, EXCELLENT QUALITY DINING. Gracie the waitress in particular, she is a prime example of what excellent customer service should be, the others including the owner and his daughter are equally excellent. The food only tastes better everytime we come to eat. I lmplore everyone to try thier mix shish dishes as well as the cheese chicken burger. Thier chips in particular stay nice and crunchy where other places just become soggy. In closing just get down there and I promise you that you won't regret it.

Enjoyed a chicken shish, which was served with rice & salad, very nice. I've been to this place a number of times over the years, it's had a major refurbishment which has spruced up the interior to be much more a restaurant than a takeaway. Staff are friendly, pricing is reasonable, service was fast.

I visited this place after it’s been refurbished and I was so utterly disappointed! The service took 1 hour ( and this was not even a weekend !) and the burgers were absolutely mediocre. This place used to be really good before they refurbished it and I can’t understand what’s gone wrong after they done up the place? They have raised prices to almost double for all items and I am so disappointed with the food. It’s a shame that one of my favourite places for burgers is no more going to be my go-to place.

The refurbishment done to the place is nice. Food is good but it took 45mins for it arrive on our table.

This man was rude, unwelcoming and didn’t care about my father inlaw cucumber allergy!!!!! In response to the “owner response” you did not offer to CHANGE IT! You said what does it Matter that he has cucumber on his plate!! Also he ate the part that didn’t touch the cucumber! I wish I had taken a photo of what was left! We offered to pay for we actually consumed!! In the end because of your unprofessionalism and temper tantrum we decided its not worth it and paid the bill in full! It was You that was shouting and being rude!!, it’s also a “table service” which you charge extra and yet we wasn’t served!! Your staff are really lovely it was YOU that was the problem! You have no manners!!! Oh And it’s a public place therefore I do not require your permission to obtain a photograph especially when someone is being as abusive as you!! You are lucky we didn’t have change because I would’ve thrown it on the floor and walked out! Also you will not be serving us again because we REFUSE to use your clap trap, under serving, no manners shop!! You should take a course in business management or stay behind the stove away from customers! I wasn’t going to say much at first but since you accused us of leaving an unfair review I thought it was best to correct your warp view of what really happened.

Seriously after 12 years this place was on a next level disrespectful, my dad is allergic to cucumber and they put it in his salad and over his plate when the order clearly says no cucumber, how can the guy say to me why does it matter I swear the rage I felt when he said that, if my dad ate it could of died there and then and to think I gave them 5 star rating, the amount of people I’ve showed this place too, how many customers I bought to them, paid and tipped and the way they handle themselves today, basically state so what if your dad allergic and it’s in his salad pick around it, you don’t know how bad someone allergy is don’t ever tell somebody with an allergy to accept your mistake and work around it. 12 years and this is how I get treated shows what type of business they are didn’t even offered to reduce the bill, I told them il pay for mine and the drinks but not my dads don’t disrespect me like I’m dirt on the floor, own up to your mistake and bad service keep the customer happy.

Rude and ignorant staff. It felt like they were doing me a favour by serving me. The food was poorly prepared (cold) and almost thrown at me - awful. Plenty of better places around here.

Horrible service. Walked in with my brother was shouted at by man behind the counter nearest the window. Told to go see the man further down the counter. As we approached him. The man looked at us and walked down to the the man who had shouted at us and they both stated talking in their own language and laughing, turning their backs to us. After waiting the man came up to us to take our order. - No greeting, no please or thank you. Both my brother and I said please and thank you - we were brought up better than to not have manners. The 1st man started getting our order wrong so we corrected him and this seemed to anger him even more!! This shop used to be the best Kebab Shop in the local area with outstanding Customer Service. It must be under new management as the service was atrocious and the kebab was mediocre (at best) and dripping in oil!! Will definitely not be returning here!!
