It was first time we’ve ordered food from Pasha Mangal after our friend’s recommendation. I have to say, it was all worth it. Chicken combination of shish & doner, and grilled sea bass. What a treat for eyes and for our palates. Food was packed and very presentable and elegant way - the best I’ve seen for a long time. Both dishes were full of flavour, well balanced and delicious. Definitely will be back for more. Highly recommend this place. I would given them 10 stars if I could. Thank you very much for great service.

The food at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. To start with, the chicken wings were simply fantastic—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crispiness and flavour. They set a great tone for the rest of the meal. The mixed grill was also a standout, offering a generous portion of perfectly grilled meats that were juicy and tender. Every bite was full of flavour, and it was clear that care had gone into each dish. But the absolute highlight of the evening had to be the baklava. I've tried baklava at many different places, but this was truly on another level. The pastry was light and flaky, while the filling was rich and sweet without being overly so. It had the perfect balance of textures and flavours, making it one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. On top of the delicious food, the service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for quality food with a standout dessert to finish. I will definitely be returning!

Nicely made Turkish wraps, full of flavour when cooked to order.

Turned up at about 2 pm had delicious chicken and lamb meal . All going well with desserts and tea . Then we paid - for very expensive meal ! . 5 mins after that the waiter initiated it was time to go - pardon ? There were loads of free tables left . What a cheek!. Next time I’ll wait three hours to pay when I’ve finished my conversation!! These lady waiters need to learn some manners !! That’s not how we do things here in london She spoilt my evening !

The best place I have ever tried for Turkish food, very generous portions and always tasty. Everything is well prepared and staff is very friendly. You can see them cooking everything right in front of you, they really know what they are doing. Recommend all the Mezes and the lamb doner but everything I've tried has been great. I no longer live in Balham, but still travel there every often to eat here! Great for takeaway as well!

I like the food of this place very much.The shish are amazing, and the Pasha Mangal Platter simple delicious (for meat lovers).

Food is absolutely delicious, and very fairly priced for the portion size. The restaurant does get pretty crowded after 1930 though and waiting time can get abit long (especially coupled with the delivery orders). I do always manage to get a seat though - so I guess the trick is to get there before the dinner crowd! Highly recommend the mezze, chicken wings, and lamb shish. Watch out for the green peppers though - they range from harmless to deathly spicy. That said, it’d be perfect for a game of peppers roulette.

Really disappointed with my meal yesterday. We arrived for lunch and I was limited for time, so ordered separately from my party. I said that I would like a lamb sish I did not look at the menu. The guy gave me the most expensive option and said it came with rice and salad. When he told me the price I queried whether there were any lunch time specials or deals and he replied no. So I reluctantly paid and sat down. However as my colleagues looked through the menu I noticed a number of other options that were considerably less pricey and included the lamb sish. I went back and asked why he hadn't suggested another cheaper options and he just fobbed me off saying mine came with two skewers. However, I had specifically asked if there were lunch options which are typically smaller so this was a perfeft opportunity for him to give me some of the other options. I know I should have looked at the menu but I also feel that he capitalised on the fact that I was rushing. What made it worse is that when the food came out, the lamb whilst tasty was very chewy and the rice was plain boiled rice no seasoning. Such a shame and a massive waste of money. The bbq mixed platter looked nice and looked a lot more than what I had, and was cheaper but I doubt I'll go back to try it.

The worst 😫 service ever the waiter's barely speaks English does not press interest for customer's, food waiting time to long and when come is wrongs . Definitely not recommend!!!!

The food is amazing and always fresh. Never eaten at the restaurant but always order take out.

This is a business that makes the worst iskender I have ever eaten in my life. I missed the fact that the bread was stale and could not be eaten. They had a strange sauce between yellow and orange on it, which was truly a disaster. I leave it to your imagination how tasteless meat can be.

Portions small, mostly rice you eat. Tabbouleh made horribly and very tiny! Prices are high for what you get. We won’t buy there again.

El tipo me dio la opción más cara y dijo que venía con arroz y ensalada. Cuando me dijo el precio pregunté si había ofertas especiales para la hora del almuerzo y me respondió que no, así que pagué a regañadientes y me senté. Sin embargo, mientras mis colegas revisaban el menú, me di cuenta de una serie de otras opciones que eran considerablemente menos costosas e incluían el sish de cordero. Volví y le pregunté por qué no me había sugerido otras opciones más baratas y me dijo que la mía venía con dos pinchos. Sin embargo, le había preguntado específicamente si había opciones de almuerzo que son típicamente más pequeñas, así que esta fue una buena oportunidad para que me diera algunas de las otras opciones. Tasty food, meat and dessert was amazing

We called to make a last minute booking and Kaan was so accommodating. There was 6 of us, and he gave exceptional service, really went above and beyond! Also the food was SO good, im glad we’ve found a place we can always come back to.

Takeaway that tastes amazing and doesn’t feel awful and greasy! The mix meat with rice and bread is amazing and well priced for the quality, meze is also a winner - always a go to when I don’t know what I want to eat.

Such an amazing evening! Lovely atmosphere, and we had the hardest working, passionate and detail oriented waiter, Kaan, who was very energetic, funny and had great conversation. Food was delicious, really enjoyed the rice and lamb. For a group of 8, all of the food arrived in a timely manner and we always had everything we needed.

Would not order from here again! My kebab turned up soaking wet and inedible! Stone cold falafel inside and no flavour whatsoever so ever! Hummus was store bought and not home made and again lacked authentic flavour! Vile place

We had mixed kebab for 2. The food was good, however the service was quite slow. The rice was not traditional Turkish rice. The restaurant is small. It’s a overpriced place.

Going to be fair I spent 50 pounds got hardly any meat it was only donner was asking for leg of lamb disapointin Turkish sallad. Soggy not fresh Mixed Doner Plate karışık Döner were very nice the wrap was tasty my bread was cold I had to pay 6 pound for two cola know it Balham come on . This was my favourite but not any more baklava was nice

A delightful Turkish restaurant with ethnic Turkish speaking staff serving great food (large portions) in a super environment (music & pictures) plus the kitchen open plan too. The meza is so good, do remember to leave some space for the main course.

Everything was fantastic; the kebab was very tasty, the bread was freshly made and the ezme was fantastic, reminded me of being back in Turkey. Best takeaway I've had in a long, will definitely be ordering again.

We thought we'd finally give this place a try so we ordered the mixed platter for 2 on UE. It's 1 lamb kofta and basically a few pieces of lamb and chicken spread over plain white rice. Delivery was quick and the food was fresh, hot and nice portions but it's just not worth the price at all. We found both the chicken and lamb bland and dry, with hardly any flavour. It also comes with salad and bread which were just meh.We've had way better grills from other places for half the price. Glad we tried it but wont be ordering again anytime soon

I had been ordering on uber eats but decided to visit and eat in this time. Firstly the decor is beautiful, the staff were welcoming and it's nice to be able to see all the food being prepped and cooked while you wait. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. We tried the a Haloumi starter and a hummus, both really nice. For mains we had a lamb shish yoghurtlu (which comes on chopped bread, a home made, fresh tomato sauce, with a generous portion of yoghurt with a garlic butter ), and a lamb cop shish (it came with rice and salad that had a lovely pomegranate dressing), both were well seasoned and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The portions were so big I had to get a takeaway box. Also had the chicken wing starter and lamb shish wrap to take away. Again both delicious very good value for money. The photo of the interior of the restaurant was taken between customers, it was reasonably busy with a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to either eat in, take away or order online, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered through Uber. The restaurant didn't pack 80% of my order. When I contacted them, they acknowledged the mistake but argue they couldn't do anything as they haven't got their own drivers to deliver my missing items. They couldn't have cared less.

Friendly place, staff was very attentive and helpful, so for that I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately food was more like 3 stars. It wasn't bad, not at all, it was OK...but. Lamb shish pieces were just to big and bit chewy, Chicken skewers were tooo dry, few minutes less on grill would change a lot. Kofta was cooked as should be, but there was not enough spices inside, like a version for people's who don't like Turkish food, please, don't be shy with spices. Hummus was OK, but just ok, rice was spot on! Price wise is adorable but be aware of (optional) service charge, which is by default added to your bill and NOT showed in the menu. Overall it is 4 stars, but very low four stars.

Highly Recommended!! Your lamb chops just made me kept my eyes closed and desperately enjoy the taste. You have given me a new definition of taste of lamb chops. I barely get my expectations on lamb chops , but you change the definition of its taste today. I will be back. Order it through UberEat, couldn’t write review there, that’s why giving on google. Ordered a lamb shish, food was great, but lamb lacked flavour. I was expecting something on par with HALA, which was one of the best Turkish restaurants I have eaten at.

The mixed grill for 2 is a bit of a lie. This easily feeds 4;-) Third time ordering this dish online and every time it is cooked and presented perfectly! Meats are flavourful and succulent. Rice is light and fluffy. The bread and side salad was fresh and tasty.

Got Uber Eats from this place last night and pretty sure I have food poisoning now… can’t keep any fluids or food down, chills.. needing the toilet all the time. If I could give 1 star I would.

Do not order with these guys on Deliveroo.. they take so long and it’s total chaos down there so the delivery drivers end up cancelling and it becomes a stressful experience - trying to contact Deliveroo drivers whilst the food is going cold! Pasha Mangal really don’t care either… It’s happened multiple times now and ruined our evening!

Shared a starter for 2 between 4 was enough as the starter, I had the Sea bass with rice and salad, tasted delicious and loads of it. Full belly.

Such a warm welcome and amazing fresh food

I went here on 30th December with about 17 other people had to pay a £5 deposit per person which came off the bill at the end. We shared about 6 sharing platters (which can definitely feed 3 people) and Chicken wings and Hummus with bread for starters beforehand. The food was excellent and service was great too, cannot remember the guy who served us name but he was great and attentive especially for the group I was with. Will definitely be back I went here off the back of my sisters recommendation. Leftovers were just as good too!

Had a take away and it was 10/10 - can never go wrong at Pasha Mangal, I have never had a bad meal. Also if you eat in i love that it's byob. Staff are helpful.

What not to like from this restaurant?? The first perfect thing I want to mention, is the packaging for the delivery. This really shows that they firstly respect their own food and then the customer who receives the food. The quality is perfect, portion size is even better and every ingredient is fresh and tasty. The grilled sea bass is perfectly cooked, the skin is crispy and very tasty too. It doesn’t smell fishy at all and tastes amazing. It comes with either bread or rice and you can choose the one you prefer in Ubereats. The rice is very aromatic and delicious and unlike most Turkish restaurants they serve actual rice instead of bulgur which is very good. The BBQ platter has a variety of Kebabs with rice and it is amazingly good. Meats are perfectly cooked and Juicy. Chicken wings marinated wonderfully and taste very good. I always order yogurtlu adana from any Turkish restaurant I go or order out. By far this one is amazingly delicious and worth a try. To be honest it is a must do. The bread bed is perfectly juicy and Adana is delicious. All tastes wonderfully blended together and taste just right. I cant recommend it more!!!!!!! The mixed season salad portion is also very good, the pomegranate sauce on that is perfectly fine. Almost all dishes come with salad and rice/bread. The price is well matched the quality and its not a very pricy restaurant. The quality stands out.

One of the best Mangals in London! BBQ Combo Chicken Shish and Halloumi (cheese cooked well done) is such a great dish. Huge portions and so tasty - The cabbage, carrot and rocket, with lemon, mixed with spicy sauce and garlic mayo hits the spot! Shame they stopped giving the Caliston peppers when you get delivery though?! Love the mellow heat in those!

Delicious lamb and chicken shish, tasty mezze and great service

Our go to option when it comes delicious food. We mainly order online and usually the same mix grill for two, and honestly they’ve never disappointed us. Always delicious food, fast, and fresh, also a huge portion. Nice cosy place, you just can’t go wrong with them.
