Nearly went to the kebab shop over the road. So glad we didn’t, this was superb !

The lamb donner meat from here is awful cheap quality! Those that leave a good review are stupid peasants.

Sat in here to eat on a whim and we had one of the nicest kebabs I’ve ever had. Hit the spot and then some. Chilli sauce and bread on tap - don’t expect to leave here hungry!

Food tasted great but I struggle to understand the difference between having a kebab dining in which come with no pitta but if you get a takeaway kebab you get pitta . But that aside a little pricier than would have liked bearing in mind the pitta and then a double request for pittas from the chef. Good food but takeaway is best for best results

Love this takeout! We get it at least once a week. It’s delicious, healthy and fresh. The guys are always so nice and remember our order.

we was in the area due to an event ,and we came across this Turkish restaurant and I must say everything was delicious and for good price the kebab we ordered was very enticing and tasty ,they also gave us huge portion which was a very generous of them ,I would alos recommend the lamb chops as it was affordable as well as tasty and succulent, one of the best Turkish restaurants in the area and would definitely recommend to come here

Extremely tender and tasty meat 😍 Yacin and team are very welcoming and always have a positif outlook. I've going to this lovely restaurant for over 3 years and they never disappoint me. If you looking for a great turkish meat it's the place for you. Ps: my favourite dish is mixed grill with some hallomi, chips on side 😋

The meat and the quantity are reasonable. But the pita bread was very bad. And unfortunately, as other reviews say, we found some hairs in the food. You have to wear hats guys, this is not acceptable!

I have been going there since I was a teenage boy, so it has been years. Quality of food is second to none. After their father retired, the sons have taken the baton. I highly recommend them...visit and order...loads of love to their famiot

This has been our go to kebab house for at least a few years now. I was so happy to finally try real doner kebab and their shish is so tasty. We sat inside once and the service was incredible, so attentive and aware of customers needs! Thank you fir being in Tooting!!

We have been here a few times now and have to commend the consistently high quality of the food and the service . We always ask for the meat, salad , pitta and sauces to be served individually and we love the food experience. Salad is always crisp and fresh and the meat beautifully cooked. They dont rest on their laurels and let standards slide as we've found with many other establishments. Highly recommend.

Kebab is good but chips are terrible. Sometimes they double fry the same chips again to serve them hot and it's not tasty at all.

Ordered d via uber eats. The food was soo good. The doner was cooked well, nicely cut and good texture. Really quality food. Highly recommended.

Overall the food is nice. Second time I’ve had it today and there was a hair in my wrap, I saw it sticking out about half way through the wrap before taking another bite, so I couldn’t finish it and I’m not happy about that so will not be returning. The staff could also smile and be more polite to their customers who are spending money!!

We order ,but we didn't receive our order. And we try to call to see what happens because the driver didn't bring us the order and they told us is gonna call back after speaking with the driver but nobody calk as back.

Delicious kofte yogurtlu, Turkish tea and lamb donor. Prices excellent. Very nice seating arrangements, visited with family and children; staff very happy to provide a child-friendly service. Would definitely go again.

Am shocked that am yet to write a review on this place. Istanbul is my local doner shop for over 25 years plus, am yet to have a bad experience when it comes to food and services. The owners have not changed and there is always a family presence in the shop which shows how dedicated and passionate they are about their business. They have won London's best doner shop twice consecutively and that does not surprise me at all. They now have expanded their restaurant to provide a dining service which is fantastic. The decor and setup is nice. I wish I could offer more than a five star rating.

One of the BEST kebab restaurants in town. Weather your looking for a quick donner or a full on BBQ grilled meat this place offers it all. They don’t use cheap quality ingredients and you can tell with every bite. CHIP were top notch and amazing service. Be warned this place is a local gem and can get busy and you’ll see why when you receive your food. They also have amazing decor and a lovely Dine in experience for the family or friends. A MUST VISIT Ive been coming here for over 10 years and they have never failed me once!

Honestly doesn’t deserve even a one star rating, my partner went to get us dinner from here tonight the inside of the wrap was covered in clumps of hair! And my hummus and pita bread wasn’t fresh tasted like it had been there for days you can tell it’s been shop bought and not homemade! Also I had chips which were undercooked, soggy and was covered in salt I have never been so disappointed please do NOT eat here the food is inedible!!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Ordered take away for first time. I was so pleased I did. Food was delicious, portions were good. All the food was separated which was great. Good value for money. Will definitely order from here again.

I have drove 40 minutes on a Sunday to tooting. There was no other options opened for me to eat in. Once I have arrived the staff members there are telling me that they are closed. UPDATE YOUR OPENING TIMES! What a piss. Never going there again.

Delicious shish kebab, and the baklava was one of the best I've had!

I went for mixed lamb and Sanjay went for Chicken sheeeeesh. Unbelievable chef, diamond hands, incredible touch with the blow torch on the doner. Top marks and so much better than Tasty Tucker in Farnborough (one way system).

Kebab's were very tasty and still warm! Garlic sauce was very good as well. Only delivery was a bit late but we understand they are busy more now We will order again for sure Thanks x

I have been eating in this place for the past 15 years. Location is great about a minute from bus stop and tooting bec station Service is good. They are friendly and smiley. The food is very good. All in all I can recommend this place. You can eat there with family, kids or friends.

Not the best service and food was upto scratch. Normally Turkish food is wonderful this wasn't!

Totally rubbish! I will never go again to this! Food was burnt and dry. The Salad Soo salty (have no idea why). The bread was frozen which they heated for us, but was cold in middle. Waiter over 1.5hrs for food. Had items missing from platter which we had to remind them about. Didn't give plates etc, had to get up and get our own plates, tissues because they kept forgetting everything. Total neglect of service, food and quality.

Used this place for years. Sadly when ordered recently salad was greasy! No pitta bread for doner, they should have mentioned. Not worth the £5 delivery charge.

Istanbul is a beautiful beautiful restaurant with tremendous food. Brilliant service overall but especially from the tall young gentleman.

We had donner and chips. Their salad was the best. Definitely recommend it. However they don't take card payments. So bear in mind to take cash when you go.

The food I had order was delicious and fresh. The salads were all fresh and juicy. The gentleman who served me washed his hands inbetween preparing the food, touching the meats and salads. Very good hygiene standards. Staff should ideally be in uniform as he looked a bit to casual behind the counter. The food was amazing really big portions and was cheaper than I have expected ordering a large. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend this place. Great doner kebabs, and a clean restaurant.

Reheated the chips also no smile no customer services not welcoming at all.

Nice change to the old kebab takeaway. Still Kebab but with proper Turkish Charcoal now. Great Taste, economical for the pocket. Could be better but still not bad. You can also bring your own bottle. Super great and cheap.

Providing excellent Halal Turkish food to the local Muslim community of Tooting. Love it! Good eating area too, and thankfully no alcohol is served on the premises, which is fantastic! Just amazing food!
