Very great people working there, very kind and amazing place.

As a local I go here as a last resort. Well this was the last time. Rude staff did everything they could to make us feel unwelcome, which involved turning off the lights so they could leave early while it was still within operating hours - then had the audacity to claim my dad and I were trying to steal a glass after they forced us to leave in pitch black! I will never be returning and have convinced my friends in the local area to never return. On other occasions friends have been ‘started on’ by some of the people there. If you are visiting the jewellery quarter this place is not friendly to ‘outsiders’

First time I've been into the jq bar I found it very clean service was very quick food was very good very happy will definitely use again

We ordered on uber eats today, and it was really delicious. The portions were good and the taste was on point. Will definitely visit and have a lovely meal as we live around the corner😊

Went for a late Jalfriezi with a beer, was working late! First time I had visited so I was offered complimentary poppadom. The curry was a average Punjabi chicken curry, it had lots of garam masala and not enough fresh spices for my liking. Rotis were soft and buttery. All served with a smile and thank you to the barman for offering the poppadoms. Lovely cold pint of Madri!

I was there on very shortstop. The place is lovely from what I saw decor wise. Lots of flat screens television so it great as a sport bar. Everyone's was friendly and polite. *** BURNT AT THIS RESTAURANT TOLD TO GET OUT *** If I could give this 0 stars I would. To all considering this as a place to eat or socialise, I am contacting you to express my disappointment I had when attending this establishment on the evening of the 19th August 2023. As the management are already aware, I burnt my fingers on my left hand on a plate that had a sharing platter delivered on it - there was no warning from the wait staff that this would be hot. Whilst I appreciate there was a wooden plate beneath the metal plate I burnt myself on, this was not wide enough to protect me from the immense heat of the platter. Again, there was no warning that this would be hot which is commonplace in most restaurants. When I was forcefully told to GET OUT of the restaurant it became clear to me management felt no remorse or concern for the injury I had suffered at their hands. Please be aware that there is no regard for your safety at this restaurant and I advise against it. This is incredibly painful and I am seeking medical help.

Matt is the best, first time ever in this bar and Matt (manager) made me and friend feel so welcome. I will deffo be back, worth deffo coming back

My first time being in this town and we just so happen to walk by and want to go inside. The bartender just got promoted to Manager and he was so attentive and gave suggestions for great drinks. Even though they weren’t serving food at the time he told us we can go across the street to the other two locations that were owned by the same company and we can bring the food back and eat. I had a small child with us and two of my sisters, and we enjoyed ourselves the entire time. I will definitely come back to this location anytime I’m in town no matter what. The service is great. The bathrooms are super clean. He was attentive and the location was convenient to where we were staying. 12 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

Great sports bar with mix grill, I love the fried fish but wish the portion was bigger for the price tag. Great garlic naan, butter chicken and daal.

Great bar staff, you can watch the sport have a curry and drink and not at silly price.

The Chicken Jalfrazi was very nice and when accounting for drinks (diet coke) and sides (poppadoms, pilau rice, and chips) it was very affordable! I will say that they quite a varied menu which might suggest a "jack of all trades and master of none" scenario. But the food I had was still good quality for the price. The service was nice, with the manager being very friendly. Some staff seemed quite idle but none of that affected the service we received. The atmosphere was ok, but it left a bit to be desired. Basically one brightly lit room with TV screens covering the walls with sports channels on. The furniture was comfortable but not aesthetically impressive. There are certainly improvements to be made but it isn't bad. Overall, I would recommend it if you want an affordable night out with a group who are into sport or can entertain themselves with conversation.

First time visiting this Indian grill bar. Staff where very friendly. Unfortunately after having the desi chicken I was on the toilet for most of the following morning. Will not be going back.

Good choice of food had the share platter for 4 plenty to go around. Food was lovely really tasty. A con for me was there was no where to sit to get away from the football which I probably should have expected with it being the world Cup.

Wonderful place. I’ve lived locally for a while but for whatever reason had never made it in. Popped in today for a snack and a couple of beers and loved it. Great community atmosphere, delicious Desi-pub food, and solid prices. Fully recommended. I’ll be swinging by again soon. Shout out to Matthew who was very attentive to everyone there.

Reserved a table Saturday night although wasn't really Reserved was more or a walk in and if there's a table free then you can sit, it's definitely more of just a bar rather than a dine in food place or for the family. We luckily got a table and it was incredibly noisy/busy so great atmosphere bar wise although not so much eat in. We got the mixed grill which was nice although definitely more expensive than other places in Birms. Curry wasn't great wouldn't reddomend, we voiced this but don't think staff were too bothered. Would give more stars if I was going here for just some drinks/watch sports, but if your after a dine-in/eat in or restraunt I'd probably say its not the one. Perhaps we came on a wrong day who knows.

Good location, friendly staff with no covid procedures followed. No menu on tables they are posted on the windows. Good variety of beers and sprits. Layout is reasonable, but not for someone in a wheelchair. Has out side seating. VFM no other nearby establishment offer better VFM for food and sprits. They do offer focktails on draft.

Brilliant concept of Sports, beer and Grilled Indian food, ( also curries). Loved it!

Nice atmosphere, ideal location, friendly staff and excellent food!

Visited in Fri 24th June, table for 8x people. We had a mixture of delights off the menu, the mixed grill, a few curries, starters and sundries. It's was our first time visit, and all agreed the food and the management was great. Nothing was too much bother. We all agreed a return visit is on the cards, and pretty soon too.

Nice pint of Guinness on a hot day ! Food very tasty....Good service. Sat outside and enjoyed the great location of the Jewellery Quarter.

This place is awesome! My first time trying Punjabi food and it was excellent! The mixed grill in particular was Devine. The owner spent time with us and the staff were brilliant. They were showing the football as well. Perfect night great food, great beer and football. I highly recommend this place

The food was awful. The food was delayed and everyone was told there was a backlog but the chef had left for an hour and the entire place was waiting for food for an hour. Very annoying because it was very comfortable.

Nice warm welcome from Geoff - great tv coverage of the PL football (what we initially came in for) and also excellent food (we had the chicken tikka, chilli paneer & sheek kebabs - the mixed grills coming out of the kitchen for other customers looked & smelled amazing); with a few lovely drinks to top off a very good day in the Jewellery Quarter. My girlfriend and I had a few drinks here on Valentines day. The place was very nice but it was Mathew the Bartender who made the trip very memorable. He is clearly very passionate about people and that came across all evening. Great guy, great service and I hope he goes far in the Company. I would definitely recruit him if I ran a bar, and would suggest that Management fast track him for promotion.

Extremely good food and great for those who enjoy big screen sports whilst eating and drinking. Staff are really friendly and never had a bad meal here either.

Visited during the lfc vs arsenal game, was with my wife and two children, was given a great table, food was fantastic and staff service were brilliant. Great place, will be visiting again very soon. They didnt have butter chicken on the menu, but the chef made it especially for my two children, they loved it. 10/10...

Had a great visit last nigh 02/11/21 for a couple of throat ticklers (Carling at £3:50 a pint) watched the Chelsea game on one of the many different TV screens and then ordered food to take away (fish, lamb chops, chicken tikka, Chii Chips) absolutely stunning - defo a recommendation 👍💙

Fantastic food and drink and the mix grills are the best I've had in a long time.Drinks are the cheapest around the area staff are awesome and look for Jeff he knows how to look after customers all in all a great experience and so many tv screens to watch sports all day long.

Disappointing service. Had to wait 55 minutes for food to arrive when the place wasn’t even busy. No apologies for the delay. Plenty of better mixed grill pubs around Birmingham area. Wouldn’t return.

Amazing quality food,chicken tikka and spiced lamb cooked to perfection. Egg fried rice so nice and they added mushrooms for us. staff and especially Matthew was so helpful and asking if we are okay throughout the evening. Service was great. Food so tasty

Disappointing size of mixed grill to feed 3-5. Other places not too far away will give you much more and pile it up. Great inside, plenty of TVs.

Place itself is quite nice, staff are friendly and helpful. Staff need to be more vigilant about the company they keep inside!!! Strong weed smell from right outside the door and a group of people being offensive and loud!

Good customer service from Matthew who has recently started and from management as usual. Has a small outside seating area at the front and another outside shelter towards the back very nice Indian grill and English. Tvs also inside for sports events. :)

Wow. The staff and atmosphere were terrific. The food was some of the best Indian fare I've ever had. Absolutely banging. Would heartily recommend and I will definitely be making a return visit some time soon. Top notch.

Nice place good food lovely service

Having booked a table and having it confirmed, we set off from Four Oaks with high expectations of a lovely evening with good food. To our disappointment no table was available other than a table in the bar at the side of a large group of drinkers-no social distancing being observed. We pointed out twice that we booked , and that tables away from the bar area were empty but the staff were unable to offer an alternative and quite frankly weren't bothered. The one gentleman bordered on rude, so we had to leave. Service like this deserves no custom.
