Still red hot when it came, asked for batter on the chips, it came with a full bag of batter! Outstanding!

Good food but 1 of the dips was missing from the order.

I says in the notes no mushroom due to been allergic and it came with mushrooms! I have photos as evidence! A could of been rushed to hospital

forgot the garlic sauce, so food was cold by the time it arrived and all the chips where stale scraps. won't be in a hurry to order again sadly as we are regulars and it's usually very nice food. disappointed

fish was a bit soggy could have done with being cooked longer but food is always lovely from here

Always missing items and they never replace them or refund for missing items, this has gone well down hill

Chips were gorgeous and the calzone pizza was hot and extremely tasty

Disappointing tonight. Food arrived cold and notes were read but ignored. Same substitutes requested every other week we order and hasn’t been a problem before. Left the children a bit upset that they couldn’t have what they usually do and had to make one of them something from home. The only part of the note acknowledged was the part that I was paying extra at the door for.

Ordered at 19:15 came at 21:55 had to warm half of the order up

My chips was still hard n the gravy was not as hot as normal

Overall, the food was nice but it was quite cold even though order arrived on time. The fish we paid £7 for was quite slimy and batter was soggy. But everything else tasted nice.

love the Jolly Fryer, fish & chips especially are delicious.....huge fish (more like a whale haha), The large fish (together with the chips), are enough to feed 2 people .....fish being huge & loads of chips. Last night I had mince pie instead + chips which I thoroughly enjoyed but, love your fish better. Also bought 1/2 pce chicken for my little dog which sh ate with relish. May try your fishcakes next time. Delivery men are absolutely lovely & friendly.

I rang and chased it and not even an apology over the phone they rang me after my delivery time stating they didn't have some of my order what did I want instead that was already 5 minutes late from there delivery slot Food was piping hot and actually really nice recommended

The only issue I have with orders is getting batter when ordering chips. I have rang in the past asking for batter and added notes to the order but have never received any with my order yet.

Normally can't knock the food or service but this time arrived late,after ringing to find out, was very cold and looked as though had been wrapped and left in the warmer for about half hour before being sent out.

Food was cold and over 1hour late

Not only was the food late (i understand it’s busy and 2 drivers) but i ordered a chip and garlic wrap and got a chip and salad and my chip butty was half cold. I get it being busy but i work in a resturant that has 3 kitchen staff and two drivers which the kitchen can do 4 orders in less than an hour this is a full fresh italian resturant and can end up doing with 2 drivers going all the way from SR2-SR6 can finish with 71 deliveries each. I only live 3 minute drive away and it was still late a very simple and easy order but still messed up

Food is always good from here but today my order was late, food was lukewarm when it arrived, reheated what I could but threw quite a bit away.

The order was late by about 5 minutes. I had called the restaurant previously to ask where the order was they said it was on its way. I also asked if the food would still be hot they said it should be as it was in the hot box. But my Pensioner Special fish and chips were cold. My Granddaughters Pizza was also stuck to the inside lid of the pizza box because everything else had been piled on top of the pizza box and it had collapsed. Not very happy about the quality of the food because the fish was a bit dried out as well.

Lovely food as always, nice and hot. Delivery was a little late but the meal made up for it.

Ordered kid’s sausage and chips meal in a box with toy. Never happened. Got sausage and chips in a carton, no toy. Trivial yes but when promised to a little one 🤦🏼‍♀️😩

The food was still in the restaurant when it was supposed to be delivered, however, the staff were very friendly and understanding and sent it out immediately, so it was only 20ish minutes late. The food was still warm and there was plenty of it. It tasted nice.

The fish was a long time from the sea and freezer burnt, this has been typical recently. Chips ok is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Take away fish and chips is going to die with quality like this. Home frying is the only way you will get fresh fish and chips in the current economic climate, take it off the menu don’t compromise quality.

Food was great as normal. Packed and they flung in extra chilli sauces. Waited an hour and a half which was very disappointing. Hopefully just a one off because the food is really really nice here

Food eventually arrived 2 hours later…was actually busy making something else as the door went….delivery driver told me they’d been busy because of the rain and nobody wanted to go out in it? Was missing the chilli dip, tried ringing the restaurant but no response…answered the phone and just left it on so every time I tried to ring it was engaged. Disappointed as it’s normally good from here

The pizza wasn't very good at all, there was no tomato sauce on the base and hardly any cheese . There was no taste to the kebab pizza at all very disappointing not worth what you pay,

I got a large fish which was mainly batter!! Chips were rank… not fresh won’t be order from here again, food wasn’t even hot!

All the food was cold and we couldn't eat it, so had to take grandchildren and get something else for them to eat

Food was ok apart from a pizza being missed from order them to be told from the delivery driver just to give them a ring, which I did no answer after ringing for 15 mins, make your own mind up.

Let down on how it takes 1 hour 30 from ordering too it arriving.

Delivery time was ideal but food was very poor every chip in every meal was black the pitta bread was very hard. Lost a customer as its been like this every time we have ordered won't be going back

Ordered many times, always 5* here. My go to place for fish and chips, bolognaise pizza, scampi and donner kebab. Would recommend

10 mins late, rest of food was fine but pizza was cold. Strangest thing about the whole experience was the bottle of water they gave me already had the seal broken. I’m guessing it’s been filled with tap water. Obviously poured down the drain. Normally good here.
