We go every week, food is lovely. But for us, what really makes the whole experience fab, is the staff in particular Chantelle and Tyler, always make us feel welcome, no matter how busy they are, thank you 🙏❤

Visited today and was served by Tyler and Shan, the service amazing, as was the food, we have been here a few times a d never had bad service or been unhappy with the food. Would highly recommend

Loved seeing the people coming in early doors for sit down. Used here for take away and sit in. Ffiid always piping hot.

Great service, I organised a pre order for 11 people, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Friendly service, nothing was too much trouble, especially when our timings changed and the food delicious! Great fish and chips!

Visited Ironbridge which was beautiful and thought I would stay for a bite to eat with my disabled uncle. The chip shop adjacent to bridge looked good so popped in. I was met by a very enthusiastic member of staff , Tyler who recommended one of their specials: pie, chips and curry sauce. Tyler was adamant I had to tell him what I thought which I did, sensational. Angelica checked on us and asked if we were enjoying our meal which we were. Thank you all for looking after us.

Efficient service delivered to table. Ordered small cod and chips arrived hot with mashy peas, more than enough food, that tasted fantastic 😋

Put my order in for a mate and myself, i stood back with other people and i waited 45 minutes until my order was ready ( i did order a value box for myself that should contained fish and sausage and chips the guy shouted my order and i had noticed he hadnt put sausage in the box, he said busy day. Im afraid it doesnt wash with me, queue of around 12 people and watching the six or seven members of staff that not one of them knew what they were doing, total shambles. I got my food eventually and did raise my voice saying " what a palava, total dis organised " I will NEVER RETURN HERE

We visited today for a bite to eat while we were in Ironbridge for our daughter’s birthday. The lady who served us was so lovely and welcoming, she noticed the birthday girl’s badge and wished her happy birthday. The food came out quickly, it was all very nice, and we were pleasantly surprised by the price of it too. Once we’d sat out on the balcony for our food, the staff member who served us came back out with a drink and lollipop each for the children, as a special treat. It was really thoughtful of the staff to go the extra mile. We will definitely be back!

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time. I asked for a small fish and chips with curry sauce. I got way more than I expected. It was so yummy. We sat outside in the back too overlooking the river. Again so nice! It was a very popular place to eat I think as I had noticed so many with the iconic fish and chips boxes outside! The staff were nice and friendly, the shop itself was pleasant too. Liked the picture of the Ironbridge on the wall! Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting. Also £13 for two small but not very small meals was an absolute bargain!

The food was good, staff were friendly and the food was quicker than all the fish and chips shop I've been to. I would recommend to go there.

Exceptionally poor full stop and couldn’t recommend. My order - very simply chips, maybe complicated by the addition of salt n vinegar, took just over 25 minutes to be handed over. It took me to raise my plight with the staff, with the response oh you are next - very underwhelming. I watched friends possibly family come in order and leave - definitely not pre ordered. Friends and family first was transparent. To top it all off the quality was poor, very greasy and ended up in the bin a few doors down.

Can't fault the fish n chips, great value and brilliant setting alfresco. Kind attentive young staff, especially the guy in glasses with curly hair.

ordered a 3 meat kebab only donner and 2 pieces of chicken inside barely any donner for the price it was an absolute rip off

Nobody seated inside, a few on terrace outside so not busy, we were the only ones at the counter, couple of staff preparing food. Warming cabinets had food stocks ready to go. Told by one employee he would just be a minute. several minutes later another employee appeared and prepared food order telling us she would be with us in a minute. Another employee appeared from the back spoke to a guy behind the counter who had just prepared his own food and was then leaving and then herself disappeared into the back. 1st employee who spoke to us now dealing with a delivery driver (I presume). After a bit more waiting we left. Can't rate the food as we never got that far, premises looked like a nice place to eat, just no customer service to speak of.

Absolute joke I ordered food 2 hrs ago messing me around on delivroo saying one thing then changing it the next won’t answer the phone it still ain’t came so I’m expecting it to be horrible aswell I’m just so angry and hungry

Deliveroo takes precedence over walk in customers. 5 ' fish bites ' were 3 bits of batter 1 piece of fish and 1 a dried tail normally thrown away. Disgusting treatment.

The fish and chips were lovely but had to wait in a queue for 30 mins to order and then over a hour for it to come. Understand it was busy but no one told us that there would be a delay in actually getting our food.

Review of Sunday tea time. Currently sat waiting for my food whilst writing this. Shop was busy, with customers and online orders. Took 30 minutes (not exaggerating at all) to be served. When asked if more chicken was available for our order we was bluntly told no. Rather than putting in enough for the order as we were willing to wait. Shop was horrendously understaffed for how busy they were and could not keep up, although they also did not seem to find a second gear to stop customers from waiting so long. Due to how busy the shop is there was no customer service at all. We also had to amend our order at the till as the chicken was sold in the half hour we were waiting. Despite me asking for more for this reason. I do need to say the food is really good a) when it's available and b) when it actually comes. We are still waiting. There is currently a queue of 14 people waiting to be served and 12 people inside waiting for their food. And that's just inside the shop not the decking outside. People getting fed up of waiting. They seem to be working on each order together, rather than seeing if an order is readily available to get the queue down. We've now been here for an hour. Ridiculous.

Three of use sat inside and had fish and chips today the fish was good but the chips were a soggy undercooked mess, we didn’t eat the chips but as we were leaving a family were just receiving their meals and the chips were a nice crispy golden brown as chips should be ours were white, we will not be visiting this place again.

Thought I'd give the smithfield fish chop in Wellington a miss and try this one just for a change. What a let down, I will never return here again. Fish tasted overcooked the chips were disgusting really greasy mostly little bits rather than proper chips. Chips were luke warm, I was 2nd in the queue but had to wait 20min as they seemed to care more about delivering food. Mushy peas was a carton of green liquid with a few peas. Most of it went in the bin. It's back to the smithfield for me.

The service was poor, I waited 10 mins to be served then waited another 15 minutes for the food which had already been cooked. The chippy had only just opened and had plenty of food prepared so no excuse.

Well what can I say! Would have been better served throwing 18 quid off the Ironbridge & going hungry..... Soggy Lukewarm undercooked chips, Overcooked & battered thin Fish. And watery mushy Peas. They are too busy serving up App bilge for lazy & undiscerning just eat punters to care about doing the job properly. If you have a Palette, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Absolutely fantastic food by the friendliest staff you'll find anywhere! A beautiful day out at Ironbridge made even better. The homemade fish cakes are delicious and absolutely huge! You won't be disappointed!!

The best fish and chips ever! The staff here are so friendly and helpful and we had such a great time there. Highly recommended. Great setting..inside or outdoor seating with good views. Dog friendly too!

After waiting about 15 minutes while they prepared my food my food, the staff member yelled really loudly at me to pick it up. It wasn't just a normally loud voice; the guy went mental, making both me and my daughter feel extremely uncomfortable in front of about 15 other customers. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant before.

The fish and chips were really good, and the portions were quite generous. The service from the girls was fast and they were really friendly. The GIRL at the counter was also very nice. If I ever find myself back in Ironbridge, I know where to go and also very nice and clean sitting area back side

Didn't manage to eat there we left before we got served because of vile little man behind counter shouting and screaming at customers

£32 delivered for 2 chips, 1 sausage, 1 pie and 1 what's supposed to be large cod, was actually small and dry. I'm local and support local businesses, not when it's poor.

Helpful, friendly staff. Varied menu. Fish was cooked to order, the batter was crisp all the way through and golden. The seating area with views of the Ironbridge was lovely and we were visited by a friendly robin! The tables were cleared promptly. 2 cups of tea were made just how we like it.

Polite service, and quick. You can sit down looking out over the river with a great view of the iron bridge. Food is very tasty and good portions.

We visited during a school residential. The staff catered for thirty two children and three adults with efficiency and with a smile. All the staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The children were given lollipops after their food as well as an impromptu karaoke which was enjoyed by us all. Could recommend more and we will definitely be back!

It would be so easy to get better . I arrived 30 mins after the shop opened. I just fancied some chips . The lady serving me was nice . Sadly the chips were almost cold and pretty limp . I suspect the chips were part cooked and reheated . It would not take much to get it right .

Excellent food, nice staff, there is a balcony you can sit on, at the back, overlooking the river, (balcony access closes 8pm) to eat at no extra cost. Good choice on the menu, we had a very large haddock 😁 nice chips and curry sauce. Public toilets are just accross the road. I find the best place to park is the carpark on the other side of the iconic Ironbridge, by the station pub... then walk over the bridge and it's very near by.

How absolutely refreshing to have food delivered to your house that is actually hot! Normally it is Luke warm by the time it gets to your house but the way they packaged in boxes and seal them keep the heat in and it makes a massive difference. Aside from that the food quality is 2nd to none. The fish was fantastic quality. Proper white chunks, The chips were fantastic and all was delivered bang on time. I would give it 100 stars if I could. Best Delivery I’ve had.

Really disappointed, was going to order for the family, asked if the chips were cooked separately from meat and fish- told no. I'd assumed as they offer veggie burger and chips this would of been cooked in separately. Was extremely busy and they moved the queue quickly. The one portion of chips we did buy were a little on the grease side.

The best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time

Order was placed and the staff put it in wrong and overcharged us wrongly, sign stating no refunds can be issued. We didn’t ask for a refund so as not to cause a fuss however this was their mistake. Advertised veggie burger and chips as a meal to find out the chips are not vegetarian? Battered sausage and chips were extremely greasy and unpleasant, tasted like the oil has not been changed in a while. Portion size small for the price also. Would not recommend!!
