Nice food and not too expensive, staff are friendly and there's a good selection of drinks

We visited for a friend's evening wedding reception, the hot/cold buffett was all home made and perfect! The house dj was great and beautiful setting for the event. Will definatley return.

My wife and I have been several times for Sunday lunch, every time the food, ,staff and atmosphere have been absolutely brilliant. Can't fault anything at all and the whole thing is great value for money. We will be returning as often as possible. Hoping to try their carvery at some point soon.

Well what can I say, my daughter and son in law got married here on 27.7.24,, from start to finish it was absolutely amazing,,the venue is beautiful,,lovely gardens for photos,, the food, the service,were brilliant,,all the team at hostess went above and beyond,,pandered to everyones needs all day,notging was too much trouble,, the room was decorated beautifully, the food was amazing,,beautiful and hot and very tasty in the day and the evening buffet aswell,, we couldn't have asked for a better place for them to get married,,well done to you all at the hostess,,,

Got married here 22/6/24 and what an experience. Andrew and his team went above and beyond, all staff are a credit to this company. All guess we're made to feel comfortable and nothing was any trouble, the food was out of this world and couldn't of asked for more. Absolutely amazing place and will forever be a place in our hearts. Definitely returning including some of our guests who have suggested here for future wedding. 5* plus if I must say so myself. Thank you all for an amazing experience.

Went to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary and there were 23 of us. The staff were efficient and friendly, serving lovely food that looked good and tasted even better and was hot. We all had a memorable time made perfect by The Hostess, thank you.

All 3 course's of the meal were very tasty and cooked just right but after the meal the sound system and DJ were very loud couldn't have any conversation

We actually went to a wake there. There was free tea or coffee on arrival if you wanted it whilst waiting for the cars to come from the crematorium. The buffet which followed was absolutely beautiful with plenty of choice from sandwiches to sausage rolls, chicken skewers to chips. For dessert there were cream scones and plenty of other small cakes to choose from. We couldn't find fault with any of it

Great place to eat. The food was great and the service was really good with friendly helpful staff. The bar has a selection of drinks, beers, etc. Car parking is free to. Toilets were clean too.

They are really friendly and very helpful. I'm in a wheelchair and nothing is too much trouble for them. The carvery is really nice. The meat just melts in your mouth 😋. I would definitely recommend them to others

We have visited the Hostess carvery several times over the last month, the food is terrific fantastic service and lovely staff I cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough.

Had my 30th here and attended a 80's theme night both evenings were great. Good food and entertainment would return and recommend 😁

We went to an amazing Murder Mystery dinner. The atmosphere and the dinner were fantastic. The actors were very believe able and you felt a part of the event. I would highly recommend The Hostess Restaurant and will be going again

Thankyou to the staff of the Hostess for a delicious meal and a 'dance the night away' Motown disco. From kitchen staff to Managers they work tirelessly to make it a special experience every time. It really is the best local venue for any occasion.
