I like this place, I feel like it fits in well with the surrounding area of the Park. The staff as well mannered and I have never had to wait long at the till. I have not rated the food as I have not eaten there but I often get a hot drink and am happy with what I received. In the winter it's nice to get a hot drink to hold as you walk around the park. The returnable/reusable cup is great for the environment, I wish more places did this. It's also a pretty smart business move as it means people will have to go back their to return it and they will probably buy another drink.

Are you a keener on outdoor and/or a coffee/matcha lover based on Beckenham? Well, you can’t miss this place out! Taking a stroll around the park you can pop in for a quick bite/a take away drink but also enjoy a pizza sitting at the tables with friends and family! I didn’t try the pizza myself but it looked delicious. Regarding my matcha latte, I simply loved it! Friendly staff and cute little shops close by. I passed by many times also during evenings and loved the romantic atmosphere created by the lights. Absolutely recommended ❤️

I feel very grateful to call this absolutely brilliant cafe my local! Trendy and dog friendly, family friendly, live music in the courtyard - delicious and interesting craft coffee - great pizza and Pastel de natas. Would love if they could expand their menu to include healthier options and (grain free things) like salad, chia pots etc.

Got an iced latte (£3.50) and it was really good (was surprised as I don't usually expect that much from park cafes). There's also beer on tap etc. We spent a good few hours sitting on a bench in the flower garden next to it. There was live music in the main area so the vibe was great too (albeit too loud for us, so we moved away).

Sausage rolls both vegan and normal delicious. My fury eater 2 yr old vegetarian grand daughter devours the vegan ones, while I love both. Pizzas delicious too. Expensive but you deffo get what you pay for. They have also considered conscious eficical sustainability. Come the winter their hearty delicious hairs on your chest soups are hungry belly approved. Different kind of bread on the size each day. Forgot the brioch breakfast baps. Served till 3pm Becky park my little piece of paradise.

My family visited Beckenham Place Park and enjoyed the Pizza's at the Homestead Cafe. We also ordered some drinks at the bar area. My wife had the house white wine, as this was all that was left. Unfortunately my wife said it didn't taste nice at all and thought it had a vinegar taste. Just to add she is not a connoisseur of wine and not one to complain about wine whenever we drink out. I asked if I could just exchange it for a beer and pay the difference but was told no one else had complained about the wine all day. He poured the beer and showed me the charge of £6.50 to tap in. I explained that he did not take anything off for the wine but he said he's not going to, I asked again but he said no. I left it there and asked his name, he said Dominic. It was just his horrible attitude that made me want to send this review. It just spoilt a nice evening out in Beckenham Place Park

Love using this cafe when I’m walking my dog but often walk my dog around 6pm. I think it’s shocking that they stop selling coffee at 6pm when they shut at 7pm for the pure fact of not having to clean it later. If the cut off was 6.45pm for coffee then I could understand more.

We ordered two pizzas and a bacon sandwich, the lady at the counter said the bacon sandwich may come out a couple of minutes before the pizzas. Fair enough. The sandwich came out instantly and the pizzas came out half an hour later. My friend asked if they could heat it up. They said no, they didn’t have the facilities for it. They put it in a box and dismiss him. Sandwich is stone cold. I go up and complain again, they say sorry very apologetic, they put it in the pizza oven. They offer to refund me. My friend came back and said it’s common sense to send out entire orders together and walked off, the guy I was speaking to said “fine walk off then”…. Very rude Question, why did they refuse to reheat my friend’s food when he asked but did it when I asked? Regarding the food - was ok, not worth the money, time, or rudeness from the staff.

10 months ago - A first visit to the Homestead for lunch and a walk today with my daughter. Be warned though it's pay by card only!! Even for just an ice cream. It's in a lovely courtyard surrounded by the old stables. We had 1 pizza with a selection of different mushrooms, truffle oil, bechamel, and Chives. She said it was the best pizza she's ever had!!! I has the halloumi brioche (roll?) with an egg, tomato, and a bit of spinach. Didn't fancy the Siracha mayo though. Absolutely delicious. Recommended. Nice breakfast tea and orange juice, but a holder for the tea cup needed! The only downside was the rather expensive ice cream. £3 a scoop and 40p for a flake : ( . Staff are efficient and friendly. There's a gift shop and doggy shop too. And loos. A big thank you to the pizza guys out the back and all the staff. You make amazing halloumi brioche! Update - another visit with my daughter. I had my usual halloumi brioche as its ssssooo yummy; just wish it included rocket instead of spinach. My daughter had the scamorza pizza with pesto an unusual sort of pizza but the cheese was amazing! Prices have gone up but its a treat sometimes. But what I love about the Homestead is the staff. They always seem to whizz around working and making things run smoothly. Special mention for the lovely gentleman working on Saturday afternoon in the courtyard- as soon as I got up to clear my plate in the bin, he took it for me. And again to clear my daughters plate!" Thank you Homestead.

This is absolutely unacceptable, cash is a legal tender we have a right to use. Plus, if you decide to be card only then you should accept all cards. Having this policy borders on discrimination as many of us older generation (as well as those on low incomes) prefer cash, we don't use contact less on are phone, we simply go out with enough cash for our daily budget

A family friendly place in the middle of the park and with lovely little stores around the cafe. We had the vegetarian filled brioche bun and it tasted ok - nothing fantastic. With a coffee on the side and this was good. There is no indoor seating area so if it rains its not so practical to sit outside on the wooden benches. But if sunny then I can imagine it is pretty great. Moreover, I like their environmental approach and overall its a friendly cafe.

Lovely pizza and coffee cake enjoyed whilst pooch was being groomed in Eddie’s nearby. I would recommend some of these places offer better tie ins / discounts as I’d have really appreciated a quid off my coffee and cake which I only really paid for as I chose to wait for the groomer to finish. Mustn’t grumble but thinking more an an incentive for punters that might be dropping their dogs and running off elsewhere. Bit chilly just being sat outside, too.

I had a most profound outdoor dining experience here just the other day. Beckenham Palace Park is a stunning, large park in South London, well worth the visit by itself - the excellent pizza and wonderful bar here are just a bonus. The pizza was delicious, crispy and with high-quality toppings (roughly £12.50 each), the kind that would easily generate a ridiculous queue if made in Central London, while the bar had high quality beer like The Kernel for about £6/50cl. There were good vegetarian toppings on the pizzas, and vegan pizza was also available. It's counter service, but the staff is friendly and helpful despite the queues, and the setting could hardly be better - both at one of the tables overlooking the park and gardens, or in the courtyard. This is an absolute must-visit on a nice summer/late summer day. There doesn't seem to be any indoor dining, though, so bear that in mind if visiting in the winter.
