kings cafe in Lewisham

So far the worst cafe ive ever been place not so great you can dity broom kept on dinner in a coner they choose not to use. Toilet decent, went to order large breakfast with everything i only didn’t want the fried bread and i was told i can’t have toast it doesnt come with that i was convinced to order another set he said everything i wanted escept toast so i focused on letting him know i want that as well i also wanted beans waited ages for the breakfast my hotchoclate which came really early got cold and i had to sip so much almost nothing left i asked for another hotchoclate to enjoy my food when my food finally came it had no beans i said right away i said i wanted everthing full breakfast with beans aswell he loudly say extra beans yh i will get you extra beans i just shook my head and started eating. Thats was an etra £2 for nothing on my end sound like a trick or ripe off i dont know i didnt enjoy my breakfast much i wanted out of there tbh the owners are loud and speak their language constanly customers swearing too much through out my meal session i didnt even finish my breakfast i finish my hotchoclate cause its pretty small yh a whole mess when i went to pay guy ask me why im i not smiling i just said im okay cause i was fed up in their really that day i went all the way to find a differnt cafe the 352 bus on werid time and i waited over 25min at bus stop to start walking as i wad tried of wating i juess i will stay with my regular cafe much better £2 differnce but much nicer peaceful and warming drinks and hot and large you get your food on time or early cosy cafe is the best around.

First impression good and clean...polite and helpful . But took ages to get my breakfast at least 4 takeaway orders went out before I got mine . Food sub standard by miles , won't be visiting again ....shame as the guy was so polite

been going for a couple of years , several times a week. Food is fine can be a little slow sometimes because he is the sole chef. His curry is home made and very popular. His set menus are good value as they include tea/coffee and bread. He takes card for sit in and cash for takeaways - there is a good reason for this. i think card minimum is 5.. , some places are at least 10..00 Has a lot of regulars so cant be bad! Atmosphere ? it as a cafe with workman, mechanics and NHS staff so it what you would expect, no tie neccesary.........

Weird place, ordered a bacon roll to takeaway, waited, someone else went to pay for a takeaway with a card and guy behind counter told him they don’t take cards for takeaway orders only eat in. So I cancelled my order and went somewhere without stupid illogical rules!

the guy their was very reasonable as I only had card to pay with. sausage sandwich OK. but was cheap sausage s.. I try bacon next time.. coffee was good 👍

All superb at Kings Cafe.. quick service with tasty hot food. Plus attentive helpful staff.

The breakfast, including the tea, is delicious & its affordability tempts you into going back for more. The portions are big, everything is cooked just right & the staff are friendly.

Food is cooked fresh and to a very high standard The food comes hot to your table and is not greasy. Friendly service from OZ.

The food was alright and one of the staff was polite but the other staff member was rude on arrival and if it wasnt for the other staff I would of walked out. It's a shame

Excellent little cafe had a breakfast very well cooked with little grease very tasty. Nice coffee owner is very friendly brilliant waitress. Very clean inside tables were cleaned as soon as customers left epic service well worth a visit.

I've never had a problem until the other day. No connections between staff. One memeber of staff was rude. Plus the food was luke warm.
