The Herd in Sheffield

Been to this The Herd a few times and we’ve always enjoy the coffee & cakes here. The staff are always friendly. Other hot food is always served.

We usually visit here for brunch but this evening tried the Pizza. It was excellent!!!! Fresh cooked dough in a pizza oven, we could not fault it. Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Thank you The Herd See you at the weekend !!

Great hidden gem, I visited this place with my husband. The food is so good! We ordered from graze, the staff are so friendly! There's a few vendors in here, but we ordered from graze. The burgers were lush but my favourite was the fries, so tasty!! And salted to perfection. I've since visited as I spotted the salad on my first visit, which dare I say, even better than the burger. I love that these guy's do gluten-free, too! Whichisn'tt common these days. Whether you'rer looking for a delicious coffee, refreshing beer , a tasty filling meal, or light bite, these guys have got it down. All with friendly and welcoming customer service!

Nice to see how this place is developing, the food has improved in my opinion with a new food stall replacing one I wasn't keen on. The new stall Graze did us a really nice eggs Benedict. Great coffee from the Arlo stall. I've always liked the atmosphere and building so I'm pleased to see it's quite lively and buzzy whenever we've been in. Very friendly and child friendly too.

Just been down for Sunday breakfast. The food was great and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly too which is great for us.

Nice, lively atmosphere. Enjoyed our experience, however didn't realize that music would be a bit too loud. At the end we couldn't talk to each other.

Great night had by all. Fantastic atmosphere, live music and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend The Herd. Will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely eggs florentine - perfectly cooked and very friendly service. Equally delicious coffee and buns - those big doughnuts are gorgeous. Thank you for a lovely lunch. PS lady serving was asking about the building - it was originally an engineering company - my dad used to work with them.

On the whole, pretty good and would visit again. Herd was already busy when we got there at 6ish. We stayed for about an hour and had a couple of very nice beers and ciders, burgers, chips and halloumi fries. The burgers were good, obviously decent quality beef and well cooked, but no salad? First time I've had a burger without any salad and it made it quite dry. Mine was supposed to have stilton, but the small amount in the bun was a bit stingy. Two of us ate and drank for £48, so not too bad. Hope to get a better burger next time.

Really worth going. Great place although not much for non meat eaters or vegan which needs to be improved. Only have limited halloumi or jackfruit options. Meat eaters knock yourselves out! If they have the lemon and almond cake on offer, do not miss out! Fabulous environment, food excellent but needs a bit more on offer for veg/vegan and gluten frees. Staff super lovely.

Me and 2 friends popped in for breakfast on the off chance. So glad we did! Great setting, different, funky and unusual. Was welcomed with a smile from a lovely guy and offered any table we wanted. Great menu....we opted for the eggs benny, a small full english and the halloumi and shrooms accompanied by 2 lovely lattes and a can of pop. The food came relatively quick as we could see two the efficient chefs preparing in the open kitchen. Main menu looks great too! Will definitely be returning to try that one evening. I noticed they did live music too which I can imagine would be great considering the setting and vibe. You MUST try this place 10/10!

Stopped by off chance after a piano lesson and had a couple of burgers can’t remember the names mine had peanut butter and raspberry jam on it my sons had nachos and I think nacho sauce. Smashed burgers and a lovely brioche bun - both were absolutely awesome and the coleslaw really nice and fresh.

Lovely, local kitchen warehouse run by some local people with some attentive staff. We were lucky as there was some live music too. Snacks were just that. Flat white nice.
