The Haven Brewers Fayre in North East Lincolnshire

Katelyn and her colleagues made us feel most welcome. Great service and value. Only potential downside was no usb points in the room. Upside is they loaned me a phone charger which plugged in. Altogether, a great facility and great staff.

We came yesterday (7.02.24) and I really wish I’d taken the names of the staff member we dealt with quite a bit. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our visit. Going out to eat with a 1 year old can be quite stressful but all of that was taken away. We sat in the play area where little one roamed and played for ages! Everywhere was clean and tidy and the baby changing facilities are well maintained. The food was delicious and portions plentiful. My little man absolutely wolfed down his pasta and couldn’t get enough of the dessert. Would highly recommend a visit but it does get busy so booking is advised.

Great staff. First Beth at Reception and then Katelyn behind the bar who kept a cheery memory of our complicated drinks round.

Really good experience, Alan was outstanding! Had a little issue with my mix grill and he sorted it straight away! Really helpful and chatty. The other staff were also friendly, lovely place to eat 😁 will be here again for sure!

Brought 2 kids to play at 6.39pm not once was I told it’s 4.50 each the lady who served should have said only 20 mins left!! Asked if we wanted re fillable drinks! I said yes as still thought we had until 7.30/8, never told me until I had paid so £20.00 for 20 minutes! Coffee was cold, tables full of empty cups, plates and glasses everywhere very scruffy! Never again!

Not overly impressed with the food. The restaurant looked tired and run down. Definitely in need of a refurb. The staff however were quite friendly

Real beer not watered down like town with a happy team of staff to talk about anything when they have time polite and friendly atmosphere (should get a pay rise for being too nice 😉😉) so come down haven brewers fayre have a few REAL non water down beers if you man or women enough and leave a happy man or women gtfc for life atmosphere ooooo town r weeeeeee xx

Alan and Jessica go out of their way to accommodate you. The last meals have been cold. And will not be returning for any more meals.

Fair prices for a value pub restaurant. Food fairly decent, and the staff are lovely.

First time visit for breakfast. Will definitely come back as food and price was very reasonable. Visit was made all the better by Janine who was bubbly, bright and really helpful.

I have been regularly having breakfasts and occasional meals here for years and have always enjoyed the consistency of service, quality, and value for money. Keep it up!

Went for work breakfast prior to xmas9. Very friendly and helpful staff. All you can eat breakfast, cooked to order, was great.

Visited on a busy Friday evening, shown to our table by very friendly and welcoming staff, ordering and service was very efficient, food was absolutely delicious, staff were busy all the time serving and clearing tables, overall an excellent experience, thank you team Haven

Atmosphere is good, peoples having a fun, but service is below average, about 50 glasses on the 3 tables etc.

Worst place to have a drink. Full of empty glases everywhere. Rude staff.

Slow service waited an hour after ordering with 2 children under 7 that’s a long wait !!!

Poor food will not be returning

Popped in for a quiet pint with a life long friend and we had a bit of a catch up. Only stayed for an hour but it was nice and warm and cozy. BAR staff were brilliant. Asking if everything was ok. It was about 1 pm and there were a lot in eating already. I've eaten in here before but a long while ago, but seeing some of the plates being served to the dinners I will be calling in very soon to eat in here again. My friend loves real ales and his eyes lit up when he saw the sign on the beer pump Doom Bar. His favourite. He said it was a brilliant pint too.

Me and my husband went for breakfast, as soon as we waked in the place had a nice atmosphere. A lovely friendly lad called Jamie came straight away to see to us, took us to a table, no waiting about. While Jamie was going about his job everytime he passed our table he always asked were we ok which I think is above and beyond, he made our first experience with The Haven a cut above the rest. The food was lovely, lots of choice, everything was hot and fresh. We have never been before but will definitely go again. The only criticism I have got which isn’t major but more of an annoyance was the manager (didn’t get his name) was constantly loud talking to staff about nothing in general but he was overly loud, I know there is always staff needing to communicate with each other and that’s fine but this was personal chat and loud, I just wanted to tell him to “breathe” as it was like he needed to come up for air, it would never stop us going again but just at times we couldn’t hear each other talking

Great food, attentive service, a good selection of traditional dishes with a few other options too. A far better alternative to fast food chains.

Came here with the family....11 of us in total for the breakfast...didn't really know what to expect but it was delicious! A wide variety of food cereals, toast, fruit, pastries, hot food. I had a cooked breakfast and the quality of food was top notch...really tasty. No complaints from anyone and the staff were really accommodating with seating and my wheelchair. Lovely place will definitely be back again.

Fantastic meal, drinks, fair prices & lovely staff that are so friendly, nothings a bother to them, it's so worth visiting you won't be disappointed. They even have counter menu for different days (5-8pm), 2 for 1's and 2 starters or desserts for £2.50 before 6pm.

Having to wait nearlly an hour for food and about 45- one hour for desert

I recently had dinner at Brewers Fayer in Grimsby and it was a great experience. I ordered the stack burger and it was cooked perfectly - juicy and full of flavor. The portion size was also very generous. T The service was excellent, our waiter was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual night out. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Brewers Fayer in Grimsby. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.

Staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. But no idea what happened to the food! 2 mixed grills ordered. One medium , one medium rare. Both were medium rare and tough, sausages missing off one, chicken missing off the other, tomato missing off one, ( a member of staff did rush out with 2 sausages just prior to me going to ask where they were. Both people in our party said their grill wasn’t hot. 2 festive salmon dishes were lovely but again food wasn’t hot. 2 children’s deserts were meant to be topped with strawberry, not a strawberry in site, try telling a 4 year old and a 2 year old where Santas hat had gone. The pre ordered deserts we had to ask for as they seemed to have forgotten. A after eight sundae arrived with loads of after eights in but whole! Very difficult to negotiate around the sundae glass. ( I’ve had this at another brewers fayre and they were cut into pieces). Whoever made this needs lessons in presentation. But thanks for the 9 in total after eight mints.

Definitely a go to place when I'm in the North. Great atmosphere and good attentive staff. I visit at least once a month and the standard and service have always been spot on 🤗

Having dinner with my colleagues after a long sailing...Food and place is amazing...One should give it a try if you are in Immingham...

Seated quickly, friendly staff. Food was delicious and a good size.

Dined here several times using there 2for1 menu, they still have gluten free opinions.but no longer a menu for it ,have to rethink our options

My friend and I have just had breakfast here and although the food was lovely,the waitress was absolutely shocking, she was rude arrogant and downright unprofessional, very unwelcoming, her name I think is carol or Caroline , she was from the get go, hurrying us up constantly telling us the breakfast finishes at 10.30,we had made the booking for 10.00 and at that point no one mentioned when it would finish, we had just finished our food (10.30) when she forced us to move so she could get the table ready for lunch! What! We left at 12.00 ish and there was not another soul in the place! I was very upset with the whole experience and will not be dining there again, I have been there many times in the past and I do know she has been there a long time herself, still she surely cannot treat people in this way, I cannot recommend this place purely on this persons very bad attitude.please let me know she will be retrained to meet customer service standards in the future!

Some staff members are slightly rude and organisation needs a little help.

We had a lovely main meal,but the dessert was a little disappointing. It was the Sundae, but we didn't feel it lived up to the description. It wasn't worth £5.69

Beautiful food,I am Gluten free and they have a separate fryer. So nice and easy to get to from my home.

Sieht nicht wirklich edel aus, Publikum besteht aus Fernfahrern. Hätten dort gern gegessen und getrunken aber leider durfte der Hund nicht mit rein.

I know it's a motorway brewers but it is so lifeless, the play area (if you want to call it that) is definetly not worth £4.50 that's for sure, after 20 mins my daughter was bored of it and wanted too leave. The food also was average, we had the sharing platter which was mainly all deep fried and not pleasant. Won't make that mistake again.

Came here whilst visiting family, and they recommend we go here as they've been before and liked it - we loved it! It was immensely cheap, great, attentive service - greeted and sat quickly and cleared the plates within minutes of us finishing. Great value for money and great service - so good, we went back the next day for lunch! The 2 mains for £10.49 add a starter or dessert or £2.49 was such a great option with a variety of choices! Food was hot, tasty, filling and reasonably priced - I'd love to have something like this in Harrogate! Will be returning when we next visit!

Good ole Brewers Fayre. Steak pie, chips & peas, with 2 wee jugs of gravy because I like my gravy! Knickerbocker glory for pud. Just what I needed after a long day driving. Cheers Brewers Fayre. 👍

Lovely food, very welcoming and friendly staff. A nice range of food which is reasonable prices and generous portions. Perfect for families with the indoor and outdoor play area have zero complaints and is out go to place if we go out to eat.

Arrived for breakfast at 10.28 to be told it was finished in a very abrupt rude manor breakfast finishes at 10.30am. firstly it wasn’t 10.30 and secondly surely 10.30am loses a lot of customers. Won’t be returning no customer service.

As regular customers we are used to a friendly welcome but the evening of Thursday 18th of May was in a different league. It was my wife's birthday and we had spent the whole day in A&E. A family dinner, booked at The Haven, had to be cancelled and then we ended up there as a couple, having had no lunch or dinner. The level of service and care from Nadine and Stacie went above and beyond. They were like daughters to my wife, who was in pain and in distress due to other health issues. Because my wife has mobility issues as well as other conditions she is always treated well to the extent that I usually end up as a bystander. It is no surprise that The Haven is pretty much the only restaurant locally that we visit.

Went in for breakfast and could not have had better service. Karen and Janine went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and we can't wait to come back

Stayed in the Premier Inn next door for work, so used the pub for food, which is reasonably priced, and tasty. Karen and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Had a lovely lunch of Fish & Chips followed by a Sundae. The food was fabulous and the staff are always polite, friendly and welcoming. The manager Karen and Janine always make your experience like home from home. Excellent service Thank you.

Haddock and chips ordered. Fish was poor quality frozen fish not as described on menu.

Was like walking into a morgue, staff all looked so miserable and not very welcoming at all! Went to order food and no chips available only the skin on fries which I don't like. Walked straight out of the place! Never again

Typical pub food but not necessarily in a position way, as some pubs make really delicious meals. I think price is a little bit on a high side in comparison to the quality. I can only base my review on 3 dishes so not sure what is like the rest food from the menu.

Visited on bank holiday Monday and although it was busy the service was exceptional! Was greeted at the door by Nadine who was very friendly and helpful. We was served by Michael on the bar, who again was super helpful even though the bar seemed busy. Also a lady called Janine gave us a check back on our food and made sure everything was up to standard for us. Janine was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend!

I'm changing my review after 4 years due to returning here recently, Love going here for breakfast. Kids love being able to pick and choose and help themselves. The whole restaurant was being held hostage by a woman waiting for bacon not letting anyone get past her and not one member of staff did anything about. Should have told her to go to here table and some would be brought to her then the rest of us wouldn't have had to wait 20mins for food.

No one at welcome desk on arrival despite it not being busy. Menu not very good for vegetarians. Food arrived quickly, could have had better standard from a freezer shop, won't be rushing back. Value for money poor. Coffe machine not working

Love this place at lunch time, good food but better service, Karen is just a wonder, and always meets our needs. Friendly approachable and professional. She has a great team. Love daytime not as good as tea time unfortunately.

Not very dog friendly, the play area was closed too outside so couldn't let the kids play. Not much choice of cider and was empty when we visited only 2 other tables outside.

Really enjoyed our trip to the Haven

Haddock was off if you can call it haddock absolutely shocking wouldn't feed my worst enemy there. Used to visit regularly but never again bitten too many times. Sort your lazy half arsed chefs out its not hard to be a microwave technician.

We visited today the 28/3 with our disabled son who also has special needs for a birthday meal the food was delicious and the two ladies who served us through out our visit were wonderful they even sang happy birthday to our son who really enjoyed it I am sorry I didn’t get you names but we were very pleased with the way they looked after us once again thank you and look forward to visiting again.

Staying in the Premier Inn next door, locals on site recommended the carvery one mile up the road. Should have listened to them. Beef & ale pie, mash & peas. £11:49. Pie was no bigger than a Pukka, sitting on top of the mash, covering it (to give an idea how small the mash was). Definitely not value for money.

Atmosphere was great throughout the entire resteraunt. Cheap meals and alot to choose from. Also great bar location and an adjoining premier Inn for overnight guests. Food was good but the chips were hard and burgers slightly plasticy- this is where it loses the stars. Food could definitely be better

Car park full of vans, only one bitter available, service blasé, TV too loud, music too loud. All of the above have been a consistent pain in the proverbial on the last three visits. Perception is they're only interested in the trade from overnight contractors nowadays. Let's hope they keep returning because I'm not sure I will.

My second visit . Arrived at 10.15am , breakfast finishes at 10.30am . No problem 😊 ! Breakfast fresh cooked to order , piping hot 🔥 , lovely ... Did myself some toast while waiting , but quick service . Had a bowl of fruit 😋 , 3 cups of coffee ☕️ and a glass of orange 🍊... Not rushed , nice and helpful staff ... Highly recommended 👌

just had a very disappointing carvery, not much in tureens, we got the dregs, even had to scrape the bottom of gravy bowl, meat was very chewy and all the veg was cold
