Golden Fry in North East Lincolnshire

Went tonight prior to a football match , The fish and chips were excellent quality and the portion size was great thank you kindly very nice indeed.

Moved to the area and tried for the first time. Wasn't disappointed. Great fresh food and friendly staff. 5*

Great food! Came piping hot :) fish was perfect and not dry like most restaurants in the area!! Delivery driver was lovely too! Amazing!

The fish was bland and very oily, the chips were inedible. Total waste of money. Overall, disgusting. Definitely will not be buying from them ever again.

awful !!! chips where dried up and looked like they where left overs from lunchtime and the large cod would have been better described as a swimming in oil large fish finger cos it certainly wasn't a large cod. won't buy from them again terrible quality.

don't know what's happened regarding the fish was always fresh and white and tasty never had a problem the last two times I have ordered fish it's been very poor the problem being very grey not tasty at all and dry

Good chip. Very good portion size. The kebab was brilliant best I’ve had in a long times and tried battered mars bar for the first times. Very much enjoyed it. Staff were friendly aswell. Will be back at some point

1hour and 45 minutes is just ridiculous. It’s normally nice from there on a Friday. But why not employ more delivery drivers knowing Fridays are busy. Just plain greed

The owners are always welcoming, lovely people and extremely polite. The service is always fast and efficient. I can compare it to other local fish & chip shops but the food here is great! They have a menu of "specials" it's really great value! I'm really happy to have such a great Take Away so close ...... give it a try, you'll love it!

Went in for a visit just wanted a simple sausage and chips. I ordered my food and ended up waiting a while for the order to actually be prepared, was the food worth the wait? In a word 'no'. Chips were okay however, much better ones are available, the sausage was average the cheap ones you can buy with very little meat content. Will definitely not rush to come back in fact will avoid.

Food was good. Fish done just lovely, the chips could of done with a tiny bit longer in the fryer. Only disappointment was that there wasn't any scraps.

Chips, fish and spam fritter where perfectly cooked, not swimming in grease. Mushy peas where to die for, best I've had. How they get the food to your door as hot as they do is a mystery. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

First time I placed an order from golden fry and the food was great

Food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive; the delivery time was 7.50 - 8.10pm, but arrived at 8.15pm, so was five minutes later than the latest delivery time. I was rather irritated by that. Was it worth the wait? Yeah, actually, the food was good. It arrived hot and not soggy at all. The small chips and large haddock were a decent size. I don't think I could have managed a large haddock and large chips, the one I got filled my plate. The chips were golden and cooked just right. The fish was excellent. The batter was crispy and golden. The small curry sauce was enough for me, and tasted like proper chip shop curry sauce. Food was great, shame it took them so long to deliver it.
