The Hartshead Restaurant in Tameside

The cafe workers are soo miserable I don’t know why they work there😕. They rush to close early every single day it’s really bad! I’ve been helping my partner all day and was looking forward to my TEA BUT THEY CLOSED AN HOUR EARLY!!!! maybe because it’s “FRIDAY” honestly the faces they have on is soo off putting and miserable like it’s their business lol

Only vegetarian options available nothing for traditional eaters. Just vegetable burgers & mozzarella wraps available.

I’ve not been here for years and yet it was just as good as I remembered. We ordered two cheese and onion pies with chips and beans and it came to under eight pounds, a bargain I think, the pie especially was delicious, we will definitely be back.

The choice on the Dine out for two menu is amazing. Quality superb and staff are fantastic. Absolutely recommend where else could you you get 2 courses for 2 and a bottle of wine for £40 It's a no trainer, brilliant

The jacket potatoes aren’t hot at all. It’s really cold. Doesn’t taste good as cold !!!! It’s not nice when you’re expecting hot meal but actually it’s cold !

First time at the lovely refurbished Ego Hartshead inn. Decor, ambience, food, staff fantastic highly recommend great

I've been using this restaurant during hospital visits for almost 10 years and they still do the best homemade lasagna. The prices are incredible and the lunch ladies very nice

Lovely bunch of ladies, respect to them working keeping us fed whilst in a pandemic. Food is nice and cheap too so doesn't cost a fortune. Keep up the good work and ill see you again very soon.
