First class , always . Very cheerful happy place , food is always fabulous, never had a bad one yet . consistently tasty and freshly cooked

This was the first time using this Takeaway and we were suitably impressed! All 9 dishes that we ordered had lots of flavour, was piping hot and was enjoyed by all. Service was prompt and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would recommend the Singapore rice noodles if you like them hot and we liked the way the crispy chilli beef and satay chicken skewers were served with their accompanying sauces separately. We will definitely be coming back - this might even become our new regular!

First time using this Chinese Takeaway, every one of the 9 dishes tasted great. All freshly cooked to order and all 6 of us really enjoyed our meal.

Consistently good , always freshly cooked , we wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are quick , serving piping hot food that tastes amazing

Sooo tasty! there is always a lot of meat in the dish! not like others that will put lots of veggies to fill the pot. The delivery always very quick and ... oh I love the lady on the phone who will sometimes do something extra for me!

Good takeaway, not the cheapest, but definitely good quality which is the most important thing. Service is quick and friendly with no dramas.

Polite, friendly and quick service. Really nice food except, the sauces come separate to the meat. Although the chicken for our lemon sauce was very tasty and in bite size pieces, the sauce was very thick, pale and tasted like Ambrosia custard. No issues with the rest of our choices though. All in all, a nice Chinese and one to use again.

First time ordering here, and I am delighted to say that me and my misses loved it. Customer service from the phone call to the delivery was amazing! Food arrived super quick, steaming hot and well packed. We will definitely be ordering again.

Throughly enjoyed my experience at The Happy Chef Chinese, ravishing food and exquisite service. My personal faves are the lovely chicken balls and chicken and sweet corn soup! Arrived piping hot and it was great to see they accept card payment now. 10/10 would recommend to a friend for sure.

We have been using this Chinese take away for a good while now and have always enjoyed our meals. We always have salt and pepper chicken as one of our dishes and it has always been excellent until last night! I think they forgot to put any chicken inside the batter, the chicken bits were so small and we couldn’t taste any chicken. Sadly the prices have increased and the standard of this chicken dish appears to decreased!! Its a shame as we have always enjoyed our meals from this take away in the past and always had great service and the delivery is generally always on time. I feel sad that I am writing this review but we will now rethink where we try next.

Had 3 takeaways in a week while we stayed in Seaford from here & they all were excellent. Definitely recommend this place

I stayed at Seaford for a night and went to have a Chinese takeaway since the weather was a bit chilly. They were indeed the happy chefs! Their warm, pleasant vibe was exceptional and made me happy too. The food was super great as well. It was the best Chinese food I've ever eaten at such an affordable price. I would love to try more menus when I revisit Seaford.

The lemon chicken here is fantastic, the guy who complained about it doesn’t know what he’s on about, best Chinese around

Just ordered a beef chow mein warm and fresh . Nothing wrong with it so no stars deducted . Very clean and lovely service with a smile. Efficient and well priced nothing to complain about would order again

Doesn't stand out compared to other Chinese restaurants however very handy location and seems clean.

If I could give The Happy Chef a 0 star I would. Such a shame, reasonable starter with crispy aromatic duck. However, mains (crispy lemon chicken, chicken and cashew nuts, pork chow mein, Chinese leaves) were appalling. Crispy lemon chicken was basically over cooked kfc served with an orange gel. Chicken and cashew nuts was tasteless - chicken served in warm water, nuts and bland veg. Chow mein was dry, and again tasteless. Similar to the chicken and cashew nuts, the Chinese leaves were tasteless, over cooked and served in warm water. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. We threw away the majority of the order. Not exactly cheap either!

Supurb Chinese food! I have been using them for 15 years and never had any problems! Always excellent food and service is always with a smile! Very very reasonably priced compared to other in the town too!

Live just down the road, always provides decent food in an emergency hunger situation! Closes earlier than advertised if quiet. Staff are friendly. Only reason I don't give 5 Stars is that don't accept cards!

Absolutely excellent takeaway, the food is amazing and delivery is always prompt, have never had a problem in 5 years. Great job happy chef keep up the good work.
