Best Chinese food in seaford ive had it since i was a kid

Used for years as always the best in Seaford. Now that has changed to Wing Yip sauces and the most expensive Asian food takeaway in the area. Meal for 3 with couple of sides coming in at £70-80. Costs have risen for everyone but no longer run eat in restaurant and others prices have not increased to the same margins. Shame

Closed up for holidays, saturday evening 24.8.24, leave phones to ring, no message service or announcement to say they are closed!!.. clearly dont care about regular customers whatsoever.

Im not sure what has happened to this place. Ordered takeout chicken curry, the , chicken was tough, bland curry sauce. Last time I will spend £32 for 2 meals. It would seem it’s pot luck who cooks the meal. Never again will eat from this takeaway. Having been a loyal customer for over 10 years. It would seem standards have dropped over a period of time.

We have eaten here many many times and had takeaway many many more. The service is always exceptional, the food is delicious, and there is a reason we keep going back. Best Chinese for miles and miles.

Half of the atrocious meal ended down the loo, but given their overpricing, I re-cooked it myself, after I got over the initial disgust. It was meant to be my treat for the month (Tofu, vegetables and rice) After adding some real vegetables, and taking the "tofu" out, I re-cooked it into something edible, the rice was ok, but that was all. Money back is what I am going for; or perhaps they need a new cook. Or both.

Was looking for a properly rubbish meal and I found it! Assuming the star rating is based on people in the area? What is the chef thinking? If you’re thinking of eating here just expect the worst and maybe you won’t be let down.

Black beans beef & noodles were delicious. Delivery service is also quick & efficient. Sadly, the crispy duck has gone down in taste in the last couple of years - the main culprit being the sticky, tangy plum sauce. It ruins the entire taste of the pancakes. I wish they invested more in a quality plum sauce as this restaurant used to be one of our favourite places to eat in Seaford.

Used to be my go to Chinese restaurant in Seaford. Really nice food usually. But they have recently had an unusually high price increase I just can't justify. My normal order cost me £28 last week, but is now £38. It's just not worth the increase in price.

What has happened here? This place was so great up to and even through the pandemic. As a very regular customer I have seen things go down hill this year. Poor quality meats, tasteless and over cooked. You can overlook an occasional slip-up but quality and care? appears lacking.

Inconsistent, inconsiderate and unedible. This outlet has been going for years and I have been a customer for pretty much 20 years or more. Always friendly service. Two weeks ago I had a magnificent take away of pancake rolls, rice and ribs so ordered the very same thing tonight. How wrong can I be. Totally inedible ribs, overcooked and gristle throughout. I mean inedible... I rang to feedback and received a patronising response which was unacceptable afternoon such long patronage. Enough said. Other quality outlets are available. So much for customer loyalty and patronage. More their loss than mine.

Delicious food and reasonable prices. Shame not open for dining in but very happy they still offer a takeaway service.

Delivery to Newhaven sea front to our motorhome was no problem at all, on specified time,superb polite driver,food was fantastic and piping hot. Could not have wished for more.. Thank you New Dynasty we will definitely use you again.. 😊 😀 👍

We used this Takeaway for the first time this Bank Holiday Monday because our regular place was closed. I have to say that all the food we purchased was wonderful, and we will definitely be using them again, and as an added bonus, we were very pleased to receive the delivered takeaway totally plastic free.

Its not Chinese food. I ordered prawn fried rice and got boiled rice with no soya sauce, sesame oil or even salt in it. When I asked for the soya sauce I was told that they don’t have it. In the Chinese restaurant??? The lady told me that this is how it’s supposed to be done xd Also 8£ for rice is even more expensive than in London.

Sometimes you read a google review and hope that it’s what you expect. I finished work today a Friday and wanted a Chinese take out. More importantly I wanted some really tasty crispy seaweed and was salivating for crispy spicy beef. You have that flavour in your head. Hit the mark 100% that was delicious 🤤 Lovely people and great food. Thank you 🙏🏻

We’re new to the area and are trying out Chinese takeaways. Happy to find New Dynasty - restaurant quality food (it is also a restaurant but not on the day we visited). It is marginally more expensive by about a pound per dish but I think it’s worth it. The lemon chicken was good - the sauce was separate so the chicken remained crispy before eating. A good sauce too. You can pay by card too when you pick up.

I have previously always eaten in the restaurant and was excellent, but since covid only doing takeaways. The meal was ready inside 10 minutes from order which seemed a bit quick. The food was not of a good quality as previously experienced. I was violently sick during the night. Very expensive takeaway in the end as also lost a day's pay from still feeling I'll and weak next day. ....

Our first time ordered from here this evening and it didn’t disappoint! We will be back, it was delicious 🤩

One of the best Chinese we have had, great hot and tasty food and very friendly helpful staff. This will now be our go to Chinese takeout.

Service was fast and perfect. But food disgusting. I'm ordered Kung Po Chicken but But it wasn't Kung Po it was something else. Black been sause beef was ok but it wasn't delicious.

Absolutely loved this place. I was only in town for a few days and wish I ate here every night. The lady behind the counter was lovely and the food was great. Go here if you like Chinese food!

Best Chinese I’ve had in England. It arrived within half an hour (we couldn’t believe it honestly) piping hot with the friendliest delivery driver. So polite. The rice was fluffy and well seasoned, and the peking vegetables were crunchy, and the oyster sauce mushrooms were lovely. The chilli beef was perfect balance of spice and sweet. Generous portion sizes and reasonable pricing too. We have just moved to the area and we don’t often order this due to often being let down by other restaurants, but took our fancy and went on recommendation of locals.. we will definitely order from here again. Amazing food. Honest with the delivery time, i'll always wait however long but 50 min on a Saturday evening is more than reasonable. Delivery driver was very polite and apologised for the delay. I wanted to order smoked chicken, was advised they don't have sell it but recommended salt and pepper chicken. It was incredible and will reorder every time now. Moved here 5 months ago and was recommended to order from here. I'll only use New Dynasty now. Easy 5* Thank you.

This is the best Chinese I have ever found. I can’t recommend it enough! Customer service is also amazing. Really accommodating of dietary requirements and you can order off the menu.

The best chinese takeaway I've had in Seaford to date. Food was hot and tasty. Only little criticsm is it could have done with a little more flavouring. Will definately be returning.

I always buy from here and it's 10/10 every time. The food is just amazing and it arrives to newhaven so quickly, piping hot. The lovely lady who answers the phone is clearly great at the job. I love how she always seems so happy! Give her a pay rise!!!!

Not the best Chinese takeaway; sweet and sour sauce in chop suey and EVERYTHING. More salty than other places and every dish tastes the same.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and have always found it excellent for food and service. The food is always freshly cooked from locally sourced ingredients and we know this as we have often met David,the owner and cook, shopping in Seaford! Can't recommend it enough!

Poor service was also told 20 minutes for collection got there waited 15 mins. Got home to find my 1/4 duck crispier than a pork scratching no joke. When I rung back and explained it’s embarrassing to ring but the duck is terrible she told me to bring the duck back to exchange. Finally after 50 mins from me placing my order I get there and now being told that’s how it supposed to be cooked you joking. I left keeping my jokes to myself after the last few days I’m not gonna lie

Best Chinese restaurant in the south east great food and excellent service

What a little gem, staff absolutely lovely- friendly, welcoming and attentive! Had the set menu with crispy duck pancakes and it was so tasty. The whole meal was superb, even the coffee was really good( my husband was made up as his was served with cream!). Would go there anytime - sadly we were on our way to the ferry, but if ever we are back will be there like a shot!

Very warm welcome and excellent service, as a group of five we were even replaced to a larger table to be more comfortable. The food was good, just the stir fried veggies had seen a little too much cooking time and the sauce of the crispy beef was too sweet, but that might be an adaption to british tastebuds. Otherwise a good place to eat I'd recommend to visit!

Beautiful atmosphere with warm and friendly staff. The food is on the slightly higher end due to the high quality. I have used them as both a takeaway and sit in experience, and have never been disappointed. Their own made sauces are a wonderful touch to each and every meal. I cannot recommend them enough. Worth every pound for each and every dish.

Myself & a group of ladies arranged a meal here. We all go out once a month. New Dynasty is a lovely Chinese restaurant set just off the main road. There is a good choice on the menu but we went for the set menu A. This consisted of duck with pancakes followed by crispy chilly beef, chicken & vegetables in a lovely sauce. The food was hot & tasty. The service was excellent & the price was very reasonable. I will definitely go back.

For visitors to the town, they need not look further if they like Cantonese cuisine. The dishes here are nicely prepared and would satisfy any visitors with discerning palate. Remember to make reservations just to be safe.

Probably the best Chinese in the UK, hidden away in Seaford. Anybody in the area, even for one night have a sit down meal, you won't be disappointed. Nearly forgot, not only the food is top quality but the staff are unbelievably friendly--- enjoy.

Dark and dingy restaurant. Cutlery and cups where dirty but thought we would give this place a chance as the reviews looked really good on here. Food came out so quickly i questioned freshness! and sure this was reheated food as had a weird glaze on the sauce and meat was old and tasted weird. I did not even eat a 1/4 of my food and binned the rest. Do not eat here if you know good quality food and real authentic well prepared Chinese.

This is by far the best Chinese in Sussex. Hot food delivery. Staff are really lovely. Great variety on the menu. Eating out at the restaurant is always a little treat at Christmas as we generally have a take away most weeks from here. Can be MSG free if requested. Can't fault them.

I loved the customer service from the moment I booked the restaurant. The person on the phone was so friendly and polite. We had set menu 2. It was amazing. So many different dishes and all home made. All of the staff made us feel special for the whole evening and were so friendly and smiling all the time. This restaurant is amazing and I can understand why customers go back time and time again. Well done, team!

This family run business is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been in. In fact I was talking to a traveller in there one day and he reckoned that it was the best Chinese in the country! The staff are lovely and over time we have appreciated their friendliness. The food is always delicious and in generous portions. (If a dish is not quite what you require they will always try to accommodate your taste.) Whether it is a takeaway that you order or if you choose the very nice restaurant the meals offer excellent value.

Only been here once but would definitely go again. The service was good with kind people, food didn’t take too long despite there being 20 of us. Food was good, drinks as well. They have alcoholic drinks as well as soft drinks.The toilets were clean and the seating area was nicely decorated and well kept. Would recommend for family meals, special occasions and dates.

This is a small but very friendly Chinese restaurant. I have been here for many meals & they have always been very tasty & well displayed. The food is always pipping hot & the staff are friendly. We love Chinese food but it is now virtually impossible to find any good places to either go to or have a take away from, in Eastbourne in our opinion, so I found this place on TA and booked a table for Friday evening.

Amazing!!! Food excellent and atmosphere relaxing and can be fun when larger parties celebrating. I'm sure to visit every time I'm down visiting my sister in Newhaven. Individual service from the proprietor who is always eager to help. Will be flexible with the fixed price menu.

Been coming here for a long time now. Very good value and food always comes out hot and delicious. Great for a group of friends.

Our group was made very welcome and staff very accommodating to our needs. Portions were large and the chicken in my dish very tender and succulent. Wine by the bottle reasonable prices as well which is always a plus.

OK, I'll admit I am biased, but after 20+ years of eating here it is our favourite Chinese restaurant by far. I know the family as I've been coming here so long. But, a welcoming smile awaits any visitors, David seems to remember everyone's name who visits!! The food is always plentiful and perfect. There are other restaurants available but none run for so many years by the same family... I'll never stop going!
