No orange gin...ran out. No flavoured alternative other than rhubarb. Staff couldn't tell me what tonic water brand they had. They didn't actually seem to understand what tonic water was (2 teens waiting on and 1 older bartender who didnt seem to be English so slight language barrier). All nice people but pretty clueless about drinks. No atmosphere. So many other options in lytham so won't be returning.

The menu does little to prepare you for the quality, presentation and taste of the foods at this venue. From a couple of foodies we both agree this is top quality. Small limited menu makes for an exclusive dining experience. Excellent service from the staff. Lovely surroundings and definitely worth a visit.

Out for lunch with friends and decided to go to the Grove, our mistake! Lovely waitress asked for our drinks and food order, we were happily chatting away. Our lunch arrived & looked nice, oops mine landed half on the table and half on the floor, their mistake. Could happen to anyone. However, it was the response of the staff that was poor and disappointing! The waitress was aghast, we tried to reassure her it was OK, let's just clean it up and get another plate out! The chilli sauce had landed on my friends dress, yes a cream dress, she went straight to the bath room to clean it but still not clean so she went to the barmaid & they improved it using soda water. Apologies were offered. However, my friends lunch had gone cold trying to sort her dress, no offer to replace it! We cleaned the chilli sauce and fallen food from the floor and table but so greasy we had to point out to staff that someone might slip! I had to ask if another meal was coming to replace mine! When it did arrive it was burnt to a cinder!! We had to go to the bar to ask for a coffee as they didn't come back to the table! Then we had to go to the bar to ask for the bill as they were clearly avoiding us, they didn't provide a bill, just told us how much we owed and said we hadn't been charged for the meal they threw on the floor and my friends dress! But who knows as we didn't get the bill! Well we won't be going back!

Avoid food. Expensive and taste awful. Soggy chips deep fried seafood basket overpriced for what you get. All day breakfast was average. On another note the cocktails are amazing! Shame the restaurant side of the place lets it down. The service was ok. Would go back for drinks but not food.

This was our first venture to The Grove and it will not be our last! Lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Never seen Monkfish Tacos on a menu and always wanted to try them. I was not disappointed as they were delicious.

Afternoon tea at Lytham Hall was excellent. After a tour of the hall where Denise gave us lots of interesting facts about the Clifton family we went for afternoon tea. What a great experience. Simon was the perfect host with Angela attending on us very diligently. Food was fabulous, surroundings were refined and experience was excellent. Thanks for giving us an exceptional experience.

Being local this is one of favourite places to go, we are aware they are "dog friendly". What was so disappointing yesterday is that for a small place there were THREE dogs in it and not under the table (which is meant to the rule)... One retriever was really large and would never have been anywhere near to fitting under the table. As I'm extremely allergic we left. I was ill after what should have been a pleasant start to the day. As our nieces are scared stiff of dogs it's also off our places to go list when we have them visit. Aside from the unhygienic matter of dogs around food, there's the fear factor for some and allergy factor for others. I know people with dogs think they are owed a living and treat them like humans.... But they're not human , they still lick their asses, they smell and their hair does shed..... All in places people are paying to eat!!! We won't be back.

Nipped in today as we’ve been in the past didn’t realise it was under new management but we stayed anyway the food was horrific and over priced for standard of it .. my husband ordered a rump steak and couldn’t eat it was rubbery and bland but give the landlady her due she did knock it off the bill, I ordered schnitzel chicken I was served chicken Goujons the landlady said the chef hadn’t looked at the order proper I did try abit rather than cause a fuss but they wasn’t for me so the chef made me schnitzel it came out greasy I asked if it was pan fried as I could see the grease ..she said no so I placed it in a napkin to squeeze it and loads of grease came off so it put me off , found an hair in my sons gamon so he didn’t eat he’s and the pineapple was black underneath like burnt charcoal, the mushroom on he’s plate was dry as anything 😭 my daughter thought the chicken and leak pie was ok, we ate starters too chicken wings and ribs , was told there was no ribs but they will add extra wings we was ok with that they was lovely didn’t have any issues with those The halloumi fries was ok too , garlic mushrooms was ok just got abit sickly eating too many .. the landlady knew we wasn’t keen on the food asked if everything was ok I just answered not really but still paid as we didn’t want her to think we was just trying to not pay for food as the bill was £91 with drinks but also minusing the £20 steak , the land lady’s service was brilliant couldn’t really fault her just might need to look at the chefs work, lovely pub but definitely over priced .

Asked to move my mobility scooter 3 times, it was 4.30 in the afternoon and was empty. I left it tucked away at the side out of the way, and the manger told me to move it, so I moved it near my table and again he asked me to move it, so I moved it again near my seat, he asked me again to move it, and I said where do you want me to move it to? He didn't reply so I asked him does he want me to move anywhere else before I have my drink. He said nothing and walked away. He was rude in the way he was speaking to me, and not friendly at all, he didn't explain why. Definitely not disabled friendly at all, if all costa coffee are the same I will not be going again. He certainly needs disability training. Not impressed at all.
