Food was nothing special .Not much meat mostly rice and noodles. Nothing like what is advertised on menu. To top things off got a £60 parking ticket after paying a £97.00 for a party of 5.

Today we visited with my family Hot plate and the food was pathetic, oily and salty . We checked online the buffet menu it was mentioned variety of dishes but there was rarely some dishes with raw rice.Never recommend anyone this pathetic food . With this price in buffet they are not having variety in there dishes . All dishes in starters are fried. Money not worth

Bought Groupon vouchers for a family of 6. The policy is maximum 4 so paid full price for 2 people. The food was excellent. We are vegetarians so the choice included vegetarian soup, spring rolls and samosas for starters. Mains was bhindi masala, chole, paneer with peas curry. There was no Dahl. There was vegetarian noodles and egg fried rice. There was also a pasta dish in creamy sauce. The man brought us fresh naan and it was also very good. Deserts were amazing. All in all it was a very good dining experience. After dinner we enjoyed tea and coffees on the sofas in the lobby. Drinks are naturally pricy being a hotel. At the time we visited there was construction going on in the car park area. Although there were a couple of spaces available we were discouraged from the reception man who was outside smoking about parking inside so it was a case of having to find parking outside. I later understood from reception that parking was £12 so on the basis of the parking issue I won’t return but had a good evening and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to you.

Online menu is nowhere close to what they offer. Food seemed like left over from may be previous day. Starters were re-fried and very oily. We checked the menu online and looked fine and wanted to try. But 90% of dishes mentioned online were not available. Deserts were terrible as well. We did not even like 1 dish that we could write a good review about. Its a waste of money, you can get good food anywhere for that cost.

It's always worth the drive, staff are friendly and food is fast. They don't serve any kind of meat It was all great and I once again found that it tasted, basically, like India.

The food is worth it, oh so worth it. We generally have a dosa and/or uttapam and then sit there giggling and reminiscing about travels in India while gobbling down our food.

A really nice feature of this establishment is if you ask for a second bowl the staff happily bring it and don't charge extra. All four chutneys are yummy and again if you ask for more the servers will come round and dollop more into your plate.

The promised buffet was missing key ingredients-No Diwali sweets & few Chinese options. The ambience, wine and music were good. However, the food was a let down. We collectively await a new menu. The restaurant seems to cater mainly to the tourists that live in their hotel above and as such, one cannot expect a quiet dinner.

Despite the name, the restaurant is far from hot plat the service below the standards, Soggy poppadoms and insipid chutneys. The main course of chicken was so overloaded with tomatoes that the chicken was difficult to find. The rice was not hot and the nan bread was served in a pot with a lid that made that just as soggy as the poppadoms. Unfortunately it has gone down hill and I won't be rushing back any time soon.

So went here for a family “dinner” I called up asking about parking, was told “no sorry, if there is nothing in the car park then there is no parking” Ok, right. I ask, is there street parking or a car park nearby? “No car park”, i get told. Ok, great start! I eventually find parking some streets down and walk into this hotel. I find the bar, grab me a drink whilst waiting for the family and I kid you not, no staff member was smiling! So strange. The family arrives and we settle for this buffet, oh my what a mess... some of the buffet chafing pots half empty, some totally empty, tongs used had no differentiation... same ones used for meat and veg - so family members are looking around for desert spoons on the tables to serve themselves, however, the veg items ‘may’ have had the meat tongs in them at some point so that veg dish is avoided. Look, this place has potential but someone needs to go in and sort out the morale, phone communication skills and of course the restaurant area.

Visited Hop Plate Buffet on Wednesday for date night. We were seated and offered a choice between buffet and a la carte. We had a look at what was offered on the buffet and decided to go for that. We soon regretted this. The salad was not fresh, the cucumber was all dried out. The chicken palak was ok but the achari gosht was not achari at all..it was bog standard lamb. There was not much variety at all, though the starters weren't too bad. Service could've been better.

Having visited the restaurant 20 or 30 times over the last couple of years we have stopped going after our most recent visit which was 27 October 2018. We parked up as normal and went through to the restaurant. The selection of food on offer was half of the normal selection avaliable. Issues experienced. In addition the food on offer had virtually run out and only juice was left in the sause pans. I had to ask the waiter twice to filll up the containers. The desert section was half empty where you normally get a choice of 12 to 15 deserts this was reduced to 5 or 6. if we thought this was bad the worst was yet to come. At some point within the last few weeks the hotel has introduced parking charges to its car park. Unfortunately their parking signs are not visable at night and some of the spaces are unmarked. This resulted in a £60 fine. I went back to the hotel reception to get this charge over turned however they directed me to General manager Mr Singh. Having emailed and left messages for Mr Singh to contact me nearly a week ago I still haven't had recieved a responce therfore I have had to pay the fine. This equates to being the most expensive buffett in London. Very poor customer service and Zero customer appreciation I would not recommend this hotel or restaurant to anyone.

We had a group of 19 guests for the buffet for an 80th Birthday dinner. We booked in advance with Swapri and he arranged everything in a professional manner and Nothing was too much trouble. He and the team made the evening a success, we were allowed to decorate the tables and bring a birthday cake. The buffet food was delicious and all guests enjoyed their meal and complimented the choice and quality on offer. Parking was available arranged with the restaurant. This was our 3rd visit to the restaurant and will return soon. Highly recommended! Thanks to Swapri, Joydoo,Pio, Aldrich and Sameer ( Sorry if any misspelt names).

Fab buffet deal if pre booked and eat before 7:30 pm, but not when the hoards of coached Asian groups arrive, push there way in, all cutlery is removed from their tables, and they proceed to eat with their hands and touch all the food and utensils on return to the buffet...I would never eat there again for that reason alone, and there is very poor choice anywhere else aside from the Marks food at the garage behind the hotel. Nice big room and fab shower, but poor maid service, had to visit reception twice in the 2 days there.

Come here with the family and was hoping for a great meal and the pics of the restaurant and the food looked pretty good, but this was the worst buffet i have ever eaten in. There was hardly any meat dishes and the salad bar looked like it had been there for hours, plus the sauce base dishes were mainly water and afew bits of vegetables in it. The desert area consist of 3 types of cake, but is the size of a chicken nugget, and lots of jelly, THATS IT.... the only nice dish was the lame and chicken wings but that ran out very quick. We were so disappointed and hungry that on the way back home we went into McDonald’s down the road. If you do happen to go here, a tip, if they run out of something just ask the chef as the waiter don’t check the amount of food is left. So then, little choice and not worth it, so be warned, dont make the same mistake as me.

The staff and service is efficient, but the food does leave a lot to be desired for. There is a huge Indian spread, due to the locality, and they serve a proper English breakfast but the taste of the food is strictly okay. You'd rather eat elsewhere.

This is a hotel restaurant and in the heart of Hounslow you would expect it to deliver Asian food well. Maybe its the buffet style that inhibits this but its just OK when i would have thought it should be good. trying to be too many things to too many people.

I visited the Hot Plate Buffet with my husband and friends. The service was good. Staff were on their toes and were clearing plates quickly. The Continental food options were decent but the Indian and Indo-Chinese options were abysmal. The overall food quality was poor and tasteless. The Thai Chicken Curry had no flavour. The curry was watery and boiled diced chicken was just tossed into it. The Chicken Manchurian tasted of cornflour. Most of the dishes that were listed on their website was not there in the actual menu. The brownie was dry. I did not enjoy the food there and will never return to the restaurant or recommend it to others.

-Over-cooked steak, with no replacement and no apology.-Frozen potato mash, no mint sauce for rack of lamb, and no apology.-Deliberately ignoring me during breakfast, seating 3 sets of other patrons in 3-piece suits because I'm a 'dumb' Canadian with a baseball cap and hiking boots. When I demanded to be served (I'm paying just as much money as the bling-bling boys), I had a pot of tea sloshed down in front of me with no cream or sugar.Combine this with the fact that they cleaned out the Visa card I had reserved for bus tours. They cleaned out $1000 Cdn. for 4 nights.$250 per night, when quoted 45 pound per night? This place SUCKS, big time.Never again.

After a fun filled day of family activities, my daughter begged to go to one of her favourite restaurant chains and, since we thought you can’t go wrong at Frankie & Bennies, we decided to visit. How wrong we were. Drinks were brought reasonably quick and, despite being just soft drinks, were the highlight of our visit as they were the only thing that would turn our correct! When ordering our food, my sister was informed her first option was unavailable due to there being no halloumi and, after choosing an alternative, told she’d be unable to have sweet potato fries due to them being out of stock too. No big issue though as original fries were fine. So, we sat back and waited for our food. Twenty minutes later and a new server appeared to explain that there were no fries in stock… yes, no fries. Miraculously, they could give us sweet potato fries which were in stock - the original server having simply mistaken “low stock” for no stock. Sadly, only my sister eats them so we decided to pay for the drinks and leave. The new server then went to speak to the manager and returned to ensure us that we could have the food for free as we’d already waited some time and they did not want us to leave hungry. In the end, we got our main items served with these fried dough o’s you’d probably expect to see on a child’s plate. I won’t lie, they were rather bland but edible enough to eat and subdue our hunger. We ended up getting our drinks free too due to the massive disaster that was unfolding before us as other staff were sitting more customers and not informing them of the items out of stock - our original server humbly avoiding all her original tables and serving the new tables - we overheard her again offer fries so I pity the rest of the evening for the staff. The only positive we have from the night was our new server who was an absolute gem to us and to everyone else. She was the one apologising to everyone and trying to find solutions, she was the one apprehending the chefs for not updating servers on the stock updates, she was the one who ran to new customers who had sat down to inform them of the stock issues before letting them make an order they couldn’t complete. I wish I had gotten her name as she deserves a lot of praise as she was the only server doing the hard work but alas, I did not. All I can say was she had dark hair and an accent and seemed to take pride about her job in which she has clearly a lot of experience! Sadly though, this experience makes me want to avoid not only this particular Frankie & Benny’s, but the brand itself in the future.

applaud by service in KFC Chiswick. Firstly served stone cold chips, told the girl behind the counter, surely she knew how long they had been sitting there as the shop was quite. She cooked some more, I couldn’t believe it. She only gave me one hot portion and one cold one back, but she was cunning, she put the cold one underneath so I didnt realise until I got home. This person should not be serving food to people and deliberately trying to piss the customer off!!! I really hope head office read this..
