Sunday lunch today at this super place was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Staff were welcoming and attentive and the atmosphere was just perfect.will definitely be visiting again 😊

I just love the greyhound, a great cider pit sop on my 20km walk every Wednesday 😋

Lovely quaint pub with really nice staff and an amazing food quality Sunday roast with many options. Would recommend booking on a Sunday. Dessert was also nice and very reasonably priced.

The place itself was lovely, the food was absolutely amazing. We all had a Sunday roast dinner with a mixture between the party of chosen meats, starters and desserts too and can’t fault the food one bit. Sadly the only thing that lets it down is the extremely slow service. We went on a Sunday afternoon, everything was a really long wait. It wasn’t overly busy and there were times where it was quite quiet but still we had nobody come over to us. We had to wait around 15 minutes to be offered a drinks order, 50 minutes from arrival to have someone take our food order and that was only after we had to ask somebody. Some of the desserts we ordered were a mini with a coffee and a soft drink was ordered too, the drinks came 20 minutes after the desserts when they should be served together, 1 of the coffees didn’t come so unfortunately we had to to also ask for this drink a 2nd time. The staff were lovely however, but the service itself being awfully slow is what lets this place down.

Table booked for 2.30. Arrived and booked in at front desk. Waited in the bar for an hour and still no table. Other people were ordering food at the bar and it was arriving. Went back to the front desk and they couldn’t find our booking. We left

One of the best Sunday dinners I have had. Plenty of meat and veg with mash and roast potatoes under the meat also didn't have to wait long to be served.

Called in for a few drinks after a bike ride. Pleasant pub. Sat outside. Food was excellent

Called in for a real ale. Enville Ale superb. Serving street food £7 per item. Not noticed this before. Ordered chicken tikka which was excellent, served in a bowl with salad poppadom and mango chutney, drizzled with mint yoghurt.

Popped in for food and a drink after a long walk - lovely clean and inviting- food not available due to the time - change over from day to evening - it was around 4pm

Although the food was OK, we felt like we were an inconvenience.

Lovely little gem, staff were amazing, food was exceptional and has a beautiful beer garden as well. Would definitely recommend and go back to

Good freshly cooked Sunday roast. (A vegetarian option was available) No processed food or microwave in sight Nice choice of beers and a delicious menu. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Only negatives were the queue to pay at the bar once our meal was over, and the car park, where the customers found it difficult to get their cars into the angled spaces and between the lines. It's definitely worth a revisit.

Went for breakfast. Amazed it was so quiet as the quality of the food and prices were excellent and a bottomless coffee pot to boot win win. Highly recommend

Service quite poor, veg was broccoli, Parsnips, Cabbage and Carrots, I asked for the veg to be without Broccoli and Parsnips, first they said they came out altogether, so I asked to not put these in my serving , they agreed then bought them out mixed anyway. I asked to have them changed they took them away and had clearly just taken them out and left half filled bowls for 2 people, we ended up with 2 1/2 very small carrots each. Waited ages to say I wasn’t happy but no one about so made do. Staff never came to see if everything was ok with our meals , finally asked when they were clearing the plates away , when I advised no and told them why I wasn’t happy , they just said they would tell the manager . Food was nice but very disappointing otherwise I won’t be returning.

First time visiting this pub , amazing food & very reasonable price, lovely seating areas outside, best pub around for sure , well done guys will definitely be returning ☺️

Sadly today the roast potatoes were burnt outside and not cooked in middle The waitress said sorry I’ll tell the chef . Dissapointing

Had a fantastic lunch at the Greyhound - The Sea Bass was exceptional and the Enville Ale superb as always…. Very much recommended…

Chicken Milanese really good However it appears they can’t cook fish n chips Fish served virtually curled up on itself an obvious sign fish was too cold before frying Oil used was very dirty hence batter appeared burnt & fish itself was very dry A really disappointing experience

We visited the Greyhound on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. We have eaten here several times before. Our meal and service were good but the restaurant wasn't particularly busy so the atmosphere was quiet.

I've been going to this place for a while now the food and drink never seems to fail and always value for money I'd recommend to anyone to try here

Nice country pub serving well priced decent food.

We went for lunch sat right opposite kitchen the door to the kitchen was opening for staff to bring food out omg the kitchen floor was disgusting food all over the place how can they serve food from This kitchen I'm surprised there is not mice rats rounding around service was shocking had lunch it was okish ordered tea plates just left on table won't be returning in a rush

Had Christmas fayre here, I was rushed for time, told the staff I had an hour to get in and out and they were brilliant ensuring I had my starter, followed shortly by my main and then my pud wrapped up to take home. Really thankful for their understanding, it meant I had an hour out to spend with my girls instead of cancelling on them and gave me a stress free hour.

We were a family party of ten , when we arrived our first disappointment was the arrangement of the tables, one square table placed between two circular tables. This made it very awkward to socialise, three of the party couldn't see or be able to speak to other family members. The food was very disappointing, meat was plentiful and quite nice however the plates were cold hence making the meal cold. The vegetables were almost cold and the broccoli undercooked . Desserts were an even bigger disappointment, Christmas pudding was served on icy cold plates and the fruit crumble was tasteless. The room was very cold and uninviting.

Attended a funeral wake so I can't comment on food prices but the buffet was first class.

Just had the rump steak off the lunch menu. It was paid for in advance otherwise I wouldn't have paid for it, it was the toughest piece of steak I've ever had. I have jaw ache after eating part of it The chunky chips weren't cooked properly either with some of them hard in the middle. My dad had the gammon and complained it had a funny taste to it No one came to ask if everything was ok, so I just ate the couple of pieces I could actually carve off and left. We won't be going back!

Had a 3 course lunch on Friday,1st time....excellent. So much we booked Sunday lunch after speaking to the owner. Also booked for Christmas,all on the recommendation of a friend. What an amazing ,brilliant place.

Went here for my 50th birthday family celebration and had a fabulous time. Nothing was any trouble and they catered to what we needed Exceptional value for money and fantastic customer service 😁

A lovely little pub on outskirts of Wolverhampton, really nice hearty food, nice pub, car park is a little small. Toilets including disabled, beer garden, great atmosphere and great service. Can get very busy. Food presented very well. Not to expensive for quality of food! Will be back :) great for a family meal

Food and service as always when we come here is exceptional. What I disliked tonight was some immature male with his 3 friends who I believe was staff off duty firstly behaving like a clown when drunk smashing vodka shots all ove the floor where my dad on crutches was exiting the toilets then fighting outside with said friends whilst verbal urban vile speak with said friends, whoever he is staff or not doesn't reflect on the wonderful Greyhound and is a shame he tainted it last night.

A repeat visit due to being accustomed to the venue's excellent food. On the whole, another great experience at this popular restaurant. Unusually for the Greyhound, the potato and vegetables served with two of our meals were initially brought to the table cold, but this was handled by staff exceptionally politely and efficiently, and the meals returned to us to a great standard with a gesture of complimentary garlic bread. Once returned, all our meals were delicious as usual and the minor hiccup no way distracted from a lovely evening - thanks to the staffing team's professionalism. Looking forward to our next visit!

Food was fairly average, beer was good with a good choice of real ales.

The pub was lovely and clean and we were greeted warmly and seated by the window that had lovely views. We chose from the early bird menu; three courses for £18.50 which we thought was reasonable. The starter and main meals were well cooked & presented and the portion sizes met expectations. However, our only gripe was the puddings. The ice-cream was below par in flavour and quality & the crumble was not cooked as one dish. The crumble was added on top of the fruit after cooking. It was also incredibly sweet. So perfect for those who like this type of pudding, but I prefer a crumble that is a bit more tarte and the crumble is cooked on top of the fruit in the oven. The service was friendly and perfectly timed.

We had a lovely 80th Birthday dinner at this fine establishment and were warmly welcomed by the staff and they couldn't do enough for us . Food was lovely for everyone all 24 of us . We had starters, mains and desserts and everything was great. Keep up the Excellent work.

8/7/23 Went last night as a party of 6adults and 2 children for an anniversary celebration meal. Absolutely fantastic night.Every meal was fantastic, the waitresses couldn't have been more attentive .I highly recommend THE GREYHOUND, A real bonus was they serve some cracking Ales including ENVILLE.

First time dining today at lunch time.... I had read the reviews yesterday before I came and was pleased to say that I was not disappointed with the said reviews or the actual experience today... I had been to Wightwick Manor prior to lunch and was in awe of the Manor.... 😊....Take a visit...you won't be disappointed either... all in a lovely day with a steak cooked to my liking 😋....meals served hot and generous amounts... Staff at both venues were very good and thanks to everyone for their time and service... 👍😁

First time here yesterday and it's a beautiful pub very modern decor and friendly staff. Food and drinks menu is vast and the food is delicious. I'll be going again soon.

The perfect blend of rustic with upmarket. Much nicer than chains.

Wonderful place, with a lovely atmosphere and great food. The food portions are huge. We ordered the Sunday roast thinking that the plate would just have the meat on it because we were told we would also get vegetable seperately but when the plate arrived it had roast and mashed potatoes, carrots and parsnips..phew what alot! If there's a child's portion available we will definitely order from that menu instead next time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.

Had a very enjoyable evening with 6 friends. We went for the early bird menu which was excellent value and very tasty. Nice place with a good atmosphere, good menu options and helpful, friendly staff. Will be back.

I am reluctantly posting this review as I would rather people didn't know about this little gem! It's by far the greatest pub Sunday lunch in the west midlands! Prices are spot on, quality is excellent and quantity is plentiful! Please don't visit this establishment as I would rather you didn't clog up the diary.

Well being a vegetarian has just gone back 20 years! ordered a meat free roast expecting a alternative meat free product and instead got a plate of vegetables ! They couldn’t have been less apologetic… btw have eaten here previously and have had nut roast, and other meat substitutes but apparently we are not worthy anymore (change of management) and meat free just means no meat. Thanks but no thanks! Oh and £11 for a plate of vegetables…. We did ask to see to manager but apparently she wasn’t available as was upstairs doing paperwork! obviously laughing at the stupid vegetarians!

I had been to The Greyhound before in a party of 3, about 10 years ago and wasn't too impressed with the food or the service. However, 10 years on, we were a group of 20+ yesterday, and although admittedly we'd pre-booked and had provided a list of the Starters, Mains, and Desserts we all required, the service and food were both excellent.... We will definately be back, and it certainly won't be in another 10 years before we do, this time!! ☺ 👍

Best Sunday dinner I've ever had... and I'm 22stone.

Stopped by this lovely place today looking for somewhere for lunch with my girlfriend and this place was a treasure of a find. Food was amazing we both had the Cajun Chicken, which was lovely and succulent, chips were beautiful and crispy and salad was very fresh. We also had a pint and half of Madri, which by the way was one of the best pints I've had in recent memory. Staff were very pleasant and if I'm hyper critical food took a little longer than expected but was well worth the wait

Went for a Sunday roast which was really lovely. We also had puddings for after and they all tasted amazing! Will defo be returning midweek as the weekday menu looks great too. Definitely recommend!

It took an hour to get the first course. Another hour to get the main course. Decided not to have a pudding. Had to get home before midnight.

Found the staff to be friendly and efficient, the food great, a memorable place.

Great looking place, super food but the service was a bit slow and lack lustre. If your going to serve good champagne have floor standing champers buckets. Because the drinks service was slow I'd say your loosing money as I reckon we would have easily had another round if your team were quicker. Couldn't fault the food though.

This is our go to , date night restaurant as usual food was fab, I had the duck ( the kale was tough, so had to leave it), hubby had Gammon which he really enjoyed and the desserts were fab, I had the biscott cheese cake= divine. Once again lovely meal oh and obviously great staff and great wine 🍷 👌

Had an fabulous late Sunday lunch, food was excellent quality, served by staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. We were dining with two friends who had never been before, and are looking for a small restaurant to celebrate their wedding, hey presto search is over! I love that the tables inside the restaurant are well spaced this enables guests to chat and laugh without inconveniencing others.
