Nice traditional pub in codsall village square. Do best roast beef dinner for tenner! Staff always welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere and friendly locals 👌

As a regular in this pub I can confidently say the food is top tier. Wendy and all the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to meet your needs. With such a relaxed atmosphere this is certainly a great place to come for a bite to eat and wash it down with a crisp cold pint.

Enjoyable staff lovely to talk to good atmosphere

Came here on the recommendation of others for lunch. Came on a Thursday, there was a great offer on steaks. We ordered a sirloin steak and a chicken kebab. Had a coffee and a pint of cider which was inch’s not the advertised strongbow on the menu. We questioned the price of the bill and we were informed by the friendly and attentive staff that there is a small charge for the cider as it is classed as an upgrade then we had a laugh about it later when we realised that it was stated on the menu. We would highly recommend to all.

My wife and I eat at the Bull every week. We take advantage of the meal plus pint offers which is fantastic value at £10.75 per head. All of the options are beautifully cooked, always hot and nicely presented. The staff are friendly, attentive and efficient. The bar is clean, tidy and has a lovely cozy atmosphere. In short, I can’t recommend the Bull more highly!

Had lunch anx a drink here on Friday 28th Feb. A light lunch of fish finger sandwiches and chips. My wife had a burger and fries. Both were excellent. The staff were great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Will be going back again.

Been going to the Bull for over 20 years really love this pub and cannot recommend it enough. The food is always lovely and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It’s always a nice atmosphere and there is plenty of seating both inside and out.

I really enjoy visiting our local The Bull. Myself and my husband are always greeted by warm and friendly staff, the atmosphere is fantastic, it's a well rounded pub to visit for famalies, couples or if youre on your own. Youre never made to feel uncomfortable. Food is tasty and drinks are well priced, would highly recommend

What a fantastic meal food was first class , all staff was so friendly and welcoming as a family it was the best pub meal and afternoon we have in a long while and we will be coming back many times again , once again thanks to all the staff at the bull beautiful

Proper pub, had a quick drink in the Snug as it's dog friendly. Lots of people eating in the main bar area. Good prices and lovely open fire made it nice atmosphere.

Meal was nice but needed more jam on the sponge pudding, I was advised it comes in a sachet. Beware, if you have a receipt, check it (unfortunately I didn't until I got home - the other side of Wolverhampton) because my Mom had a HALF pint of Inch's cider with a dash of cordial and I was charged £5 and receipt said Inch's cider PT CD, seems I was charged for a pint not half! Changed to 1 star because you haven't replied!

Good quality basic pub food, friendly atmosphere, a good place to have a light lunch .

We used this pub over 40 years ago so gave it a whirl. Pleasantly busy so not rammed though a fine evening so many customers in the garden. Was served in order and courteously. Got a seat though opposite a fruit machine which always brings the tone down. We both had Hobgoblin Gold which tasted sharp and lacked its fruity finish. Either the brewery has changed something or (more likely) the cask had not been allowed to stand long enough after delivery. Whatever, no way was the beer worth £4.60 a pint and the pub looked tired. We will not be returning and frankly this experience was not isolated in Marstons pubs and the company could do with upping its game.

We went to The Bull yesterday afternoon for food and drinks following our friends wedding. It was a large party of people and the staff were absolutely brilliant. It was a lovely afternoon in our local pub and we left very happy! Really good service..🙂

My mother and her friends from dance (21 in total) came here for their annual Christmas meal. Laura and the team were fantastic from start to finish, and an excellent meal was enjoyed by all. Thank you.

Very pleasant atmosphere on arrival, didn't have to wait to long for food which was very hot and welcoming, Liam was his happy handsome self (staff) couldn't fault anyone or anything, come one come all,

We visited on a weekday and Liam served us and made sure we had everything we needed and that the food was all OK. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We all had the roast which was very tasty and good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bull when visiting Codsall.

I love this pub, very traditional experience with a cosy interior feel, the design is classic British pub with no modernisation like newer “edgy” pubs. The best pub in Bilbrook and Codsall by a long way. The vibe is always relaxed and staff are very friendly and helpful. I come her after work most nights for a pint and it’s always a friendly atmosphere with quick service. Monday nights is always good with cheaper ales on sale! Had food here a few times and it’s also very nice with a good selection and value for money but not skimping on flavour. You will be full and very satisfied!

My sister and I arrived at 14.55 and although the kitchen closes at 15.00 in preparation for evening service, they happily took our order. We like starters to share and had the buttermilk chicken, breaded mushrooms and cauliflower bites (so delicious I will order 2 plates next time) The garden was lovely with swings slide and space to run around for my five years young grandson: who cried when we had to leave because he wanted to stay and play with his new friend. The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble even checking whether either of us were vegan before giving us mayo pots. It was a lovely afternoon in a lovely relaxed environment. And please order extra cauliflower starter. It was less than £20 for 3 starters, an extra of fries and three drinks.

I really enjoyed my afternoon in the pub. My friend commented on how good the wainwright was. I had Guinness which was beautiful. Atmosphere was good it was busier than I thought it would be. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back

The bull is nice for beer. The food is average at best and the atmosphere is OK. They do have great ales so you need to come at least for that.

What a little gem of a pub 6 of us had food all our plates where empty at the end of our meals very reasonable prices. We will visit again soon. We also went in the garden for a drink before and enjoyed the outside space in the sun.

During a visit, we were surprised that a couple of times the male waiter first filled the glass a little with mineral water before the glass was filled with keg beer. Preserved, it may have been ordered by the customer, still it puzzled us.
