We were given gift vouchers in celebration of our golden wedding so having booked easily online we arrived to have our temperatures taken and signed in. Tables well set out as per social distancing and restaurant full. Waitress was very polite and friendly and took our orders for drinks and food professionally. Starters, mains and deserts were excellent - well presented and cooked to perfection. Excellent all round and worth paying a little extra for a perfect evening - well done to you all for great service in these strange times

A great chance to have a special lunch with our daughter and grand daughter, who had just moved to Leicester from Co Cork. We were delighted with our meals, friendly staff and super food. A lovely occasion altogether!

The Pug & Greyhound

26/08/2020: Had a great meal with Rishi's tenner off. Starter of salt and pepper squid particularly recommended - it was generous and gorgeous. Had Caesar salad with chicken for my main course, I would have preferred shaved Parmesan to grated, and possibly a bit more Caesar dressing and croutons, however the chicken was lovely - warm and shredded rather than the huge fridge-cold chunks you often get. My friend had a duck spring roll starter and vegetarian tartlet which looked nice too.I was a bit surprised the staff weren’t wearing masks. Tables have been well spaced out. Good service and clean environment.
13/08/2020: It was so disappointing to turn up on Tuesday to be told the fridges had broken down 10 mins earlier and the only food options were pizzas or Caesar salad. Obviously it couldn’t be helped, but we then had to wait 45 mins for our 3 pizzas to come out, despite being the first people to order food that evening. We will try again though as the menu is great and we’ve had super meals there before.

Pizza Express

19/09/2020: We visited on a quiet Tuesday evening recently This was our first visit to eat inside a restaurant since the pandemic lockdown restrictions and we were somewhat anxious to be fair. We needn’t have had any concerns whatsoever. The young lady waiting on was quite possibly one of the best we have experienced - her bubbly and enthusiastic approach was just the tonic we needed. We felt safe and left feeling absolutely delighted with our food, and choice of restaurant as our first to return to as a new normal. On a flippant note, it’s the first time we have had to pay full price, as we couldn’t find a voucher offer - but we should all do our bit to support our favourite businesses in these unprecedented and difficult times - it was worth every penny. Thank you Pizza Express and your team.
20/08/2020: First class and very professional during Covid. Went as a family and we felt most comfortable here that social distancing was being observed both by visitors and management and staff alike. Staff (particularly Michelle) made us feel most comfortable with the Covid situation and explained the changes articulately and also in a most friendly manner. Good as always was spot on and my pizza was tailor made to order and it could not have been better. Already looking forward to our next Vizor. Thanks to all staff and management. Keep up the great work.
