Very quiet on our visit so rhetefore can't really comment on atmosphere Fpod good(carvery) but kept waiting and had to chase our order for the childrens' food Large parking area available with

The food is good but compared to other places there is not much variation or choice of different foods

Have a roast potato and expect it to taste nice, well this wasn’t very nice, they looked tasty but sat down to eat them they were really hard inside, there’s was hardly anything left on the 3 meats they had out and they were all very dry, we kindly asked the chef if she could bring a new meat out and she abruptly told us no we don’t have anything left, we then got to the mash potato, this was hard and crusty, very lumpy and very dry, we again asked for fresh food and were told again no we don’t have any, the salt and pepper wouldn’t come out of the shakers both were dried up, one person working the bar took 25 mins for us to get a Pepsi, I then asked the bar man were we are to get our desert and he said round there and pointed in a direction towards the window so we didn’t get desert as there was no staff available to help us properly

Have not been here in a few months and even though it's the same pub physically, it's definitely a different one atmospherically. The staff are fab but most of all the chef, Margaret, was fantastic due to changing the selection of food on the carvery to make it hot and fresh for us. The newly changed food was definitely well worth the slight wait. 🫶 Delicious

Our family absolutely love visiting here. My littles ones both go to local school and we’ve always felt welcome and received excellent customer service and yummy food and drink. Nicola and Lydia are particularly excellent members of the team and always make our experience special.

A good breakfast after a good night ha ha

I always enjoying going here a couple of times a week. The staff are always friendly, especially Lidia and Nicola.

Can be busy pub food place, carvery and other things on the menu. Not expensive. Quite big. Outside seating. In a subburb setting so parking all around.

Went for tea Thursday with friends,not normally a great lover of carvery but I have to say it was excellent👍well cooked,tasty and hot.Service was excellent and Angie went out of her way to help with my fussy friends many questions..First rate,we'll be back.Always a pleasure to eat here.

Carvery fare lovely and hot,freshly carved to order and amount generous enough, no lumps in gravy(phew),vegetables lovely (when fresh from kitchen) pick your time to get in line.

Came in today didn't fancy a roast. Had a burger the service on the bar by Kellie was fantastic. The food was delivered in a very timely manner. Kudos to the chef who made it. Will defo be back.

My party of 5 arrived for a lunch on a Monday. Very tired inside, in places wallpaper ripped, no soap in ladies toilet The only decent part of the carvery was the meat. Rest over cooked and cold, we all asked for it to be heated in microwave. We had to look for staff including for bar service Would not return

Nice place to relax and good quality

Ordered fish, mushy peas and chips today. Fish was a frozen rectangular one that you'd pick up in a supermarket freezer. It was hard and not nice. Chips were also not cooked throughout. I have changed my rating on this venue a few times from 1 to 5 and now to 2. It differs from time to time but food quality was the issue of this review.

Great size pub, tablets outside for when it's Sunny 🤔 but inside it's fairly big and they have a decent menu, and a carvery, but if you're in the area call in and have a drink and something to eat, but it's a great community pub 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wow 😍. Ordered food for delivery on uber eats and we're truly blown away! This place most definitely provides quality AND quantity! The carvery is absolutely huge and everything is cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! You get loads of meat, a large selection of delicious vegetables and the star of the show for me was the roast potatoes 😍😍 absolutely amazing. Not a single complaint. Highly recommend to everyone and we will be ordering again. Thank you so much.

Constantly cancel Uber eats orders after you’ve already waited 30 minutes.

Reading the other reviews I feel like we went to another pub as the food was awful. Most of us had the carvery and four of us all said it was probably the worst one we’ve had. Very little choice, food badly needed replenishing but there would have been a 25 minute wait for it and we were all hungry. I had to smother my carvery in mint sauce just to get some flavour. The guy doing the carvery was very nice though. Very disappointing as it was a family reunion.

You know what you're getting with a Stonehouse so it's always a safe bet. But the food is good, the service is friendly and the pub itself is nice enough. They tend to have gluten free beer available for those who need it, though there's been the odd occasion where they've sold out.

Came here on Sunday, with my sister. Was presented with amazing food, brought to the table by a chef named Dave, I had a meatfeast calzone. One of the best meals I've ever had, will definitely be visiting again

We came on Monday and had a gorgeous meal, our carver James was brilliant, he was really patient with my kids whilst they took their time choosing. Will definitely be coming back!!

We came as a Father’s Day treat for dad and grandad. The table was the perfect spot and the staff were very helpful. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food. We will definitely be coming back hopefully soon

Went here for the first time and was very disappointed at the roast dinner . Mash was very dry and also the stuffing looked like the food has been there all day . Turkey and roast beef was horrible but overall the food was very bland . If I could give 0 stars I would . Would not recommend.

Good meal here, portions were good and food all tasty. Particular mention for Carly, our waitress, who was excellent throughout and is a definite asset to the business.

Tried here for a carvery yesterday. This place used to be a great carvery venue. We were so dissapointed. The veg was sparce, not replenished, had to ask for more veg to be brought out, then staff just ignored the request, peas looked dried up like they had been there all day. Cauliflower cheese tasted of nothing and the Yorkshire puddings were not home made, small frozen ones you buy out of shop!! Roast potatoes again burnt and old. Very very dissapointed.

Good food, lovely waitress. Very clean and well set out for the disabled. Went on 16/5/23. Met by a lovely waitress called Siobhan, had the carvery, everything was absolutely fine. Siobhan still had time to smile as she was busy clearing and cleaning up after customers, she's a credit to your establishment. Plate says it all. Went again today 3/8/23 with wife, daughter and her partner. Siobhan was there once again with that beautiful smile, making sure we had everything. All had carvery and there wasn't an ounce of food left on the plates. Daughter was surprised how nice the restuarant was. Very good day. Thanks again to Siobhan and Angie who made us welcome. 31/10/23. Had a beautiful carvery, even ordered a takeaway carvery, beef and gammon was lovely, plenty of vegetable choice. Siobhan was dressed as Wednesday Adams, very convincing. Once again, a nice visit. 19/04/24, another lovely visit, my best waitress Siobhan was there, as wonderful as ever. Another brilliant waitress was there as well, I think her name is Jackie or Natalie. Fullof smiles as usual. Food was delicious, hot, and loads of it, served by a chef named Dave. Meat was very tender. Not a single bit left on my plate. Will be there again soon. Thanks Greenhills.

Excellent well-prepared food at very reasonable prices. Very friendly cheerful staff. The carvery, in particular, always has a good variety of freshly cooked vegetables which, together with the excellent beef, turkey and ham, all served on well heated plates, makes for a fine meal. We go there at least once a week and have done for years.
