Good drink is reasonable priced. Food good with little wait. Staff friendly. Housed in a lovely old building with lot's of character.

Great pub, cant be faulted, just what you expect from a Wetherspoons.

Good atmosphere, staff are helpful, friendly and accommodating. Turned up with a big group and they found us an area to sit and have good. Usual Weatherspoons menu and good value. Nice open fireplace if you can get sat by it!

Always enjoy a visit here. Good choice of beers. Can get busy at peak times, but have always found a seat.

Ordered fish and chips, no mushy peas available, when it turned up no peas at all and lukewarm chips. Have eaten here before and always been great food. Disappointed 😞

It's ok, as expected. Not as cheap as it used to be but quality is still low. Pizza base was undercooked, nachos bland. Staff told us incorrect information twice regarding meals. Difficult to find children items on the app.

A lovely breakfast for £2.99 followed by three superb ales from independent brewers. Lovely, airy, comfortable surroundings to enjoy company with mates in order to put the world to rights.

Like the little room they have, as I'm autistic and adhd and don't like nosey places. Would be nice if there was a door to damped the sound when it got a little busyer in the next room.

It's a Whetherspoons what more can I say. Good value pub food meal deals. Ordering s simple using their app. Service was efficient and friendly. I like the history of the Green Dragon. It must be one of the older origi al.buildings that they have. If you look in one of the front rooms, they have done a great job of exposing the timber beams from most likely the original building of 1693. Reportedly Leeks oldest Inn.

I come to Leek a few times a year to visit a friend. I love the singing waiter with the moustache. He makes my visit to Leek a happy one.

Situated in the Green Dragon this Wetherspoons is a nice enough pub: some cosy corners and an all-you-can-drink coffee machine with a coffee purchase. You can order on your app to get it delivered to your table. Nice staff at the time of my visit and the food was good. All in all a pleasant visit.

Overcharged at the till, wrong drink order, fish swimming in grease, worst spoons i have visited for food.

Visited today at 11.15 am for breakfast. Two spare tables, to be expected,it was Fathers day. Cleared our table myself and went to the bar to order at 11.25. One bar staff on, admittedly the two dizzy women in front of me were an absolute nightmare for him,one had to explain to her child why she couldn't have coke and then forgot her purse ☹️. Apparently there was no bread available so no toast!!. The lady wanted to swap the toast for black pudding and didn't realise it was meat so no swap cos it was like for like (fair enough). At 11.55 I gave up and we went somewhere else. Not blaming the poor man behind tybar, he was doing his absolute best but really needed help. It was Fathers Day, surely the management should have got more staff in. Definitely won't be rushing back.

This place has really gone downhill. Took 25 mins to bring drinks,table full of glasses and plates. One person on his own behind bar doing everything himself!! Blame the management really,they just don't seem bothered.. food was frozen still.. and toilets filthy.... such a shame

A very good Spoons. Nice interesting building with large beer garden, The staff were very nice and most items were well stocked. This pub was very clean and well kept compared to other weatherspoon pubs.

The food was really nice , the service was excellent. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Really nice atmosphere, very busy at times. But plenty of seating inside & out. Toilets are upstairs like most wetherspoons.

We didn't have any food but what we saw looked lovely. A beautiful place, obviously old but tastefully decorated and plenty of seating and tables with an outside courtyard to sit in. Service was prompt and staff are very courteous. Great selection of drinks.

After a really nice weekend i found myself in the beer garden in this Leek establishment. With a friend and my dog, after 30 seconds i was told to leave in an friendly way, because i had a dog. The only outdoor non dog friendly pub i know, never eating or drinking here again.

Very rude staff! The only good thing is the one waiter, and older gentlemen who is friendly and polite. The other staff are truly awful.

I don't normally do Wetherspoons. However, we had been to the Peak Wildlife Park and were hungry, cold and wet. We were made very welcome, easy to order and the food when it arrived was tasty and plentiful.

A large Spoons pub hidden behind a smaller older world facarde. Plenty of tables and space with the usual range of Wewtherspoons food, you know what your getting and it's consistent. Well worth a visit.

Top Man 👌👌 Wetherspoons needs to take James to their AGM party and ask themselves what makes the brand???? If every Wetherspoons had a James or someone trained by him then the brand would make at least £30 Million a year. James is simply just the absolute epitome of manners, service and pure customer care.... Pure Quality

Very calm for an afternoon. Good food, got what you expect. Easy to order on app however you can’t customise. Would come again. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Ladies toilets are massive and nice. Amazing prices for 3 good size lunches and drinks- less than £10 each. Really appreciate the weekday deals.

Fantastic place fitted 16 in on short notice, we had a lovely waitress who was friendly and courteous.

I saw this spoons on a documentary about Wetherspoons, me and my boyfriend were enamoured and made a 2 hour journey especially to visit - we were not disappointed. 10/10 would visit again.

Lovely, cosy vibe to this Spoons. Split level flooring with carpet and wooden areas. Unusual. Typical value for money.

A great experience for a meal on the way to work as stilt walking aliens at Haregate for Hallowe'en. Phoebe put a slice of fresh orange into our St Clements drinks. I ordered the mixed grill as it was steak Tuesday. However, it arrived with no lamb! The service received from James was a lesson in customer satisfaction to rectify this. Within in minutes he's radioed the kitchen and a fresh meat selection was delivered to my plate. James cannot be thanked enough for his perfect customer relation skills! Great team, great food and great price of £17 for 2 hot meals and 2 drinks.

Frozen hard cold pancakes, rock hard served. That,s something that should be so easy, so no care.

Just enjoyed the "curry Thursday" meals. Excellent flavour and portion size, all served within 15 mins of ordering. Well done 👏👏👏

The Green Dragon has recently improved considerably since I have been using it. It seems there are more staff actively keeping the restaurant area clean and clear of piles of dirty plates and glasses. Food and drinks are still good too.

We both ordered a baked potato, they were only luke warm. The service was good, staff were attentive, clearing tables quickly.

Popped in here for breakfast , nice place inside food was quick and well cooked, would certainly go again if we are in the area.

Sadly it's gone down bank with food and service, pub was quiet, but 20 min food delay , service was poor , food cold when arrived , asked if it was waiting in kitchen girl said no but it was cold ...very very poor through and through won't rush back

Nice friendly place I was visiting the area and popped in a nice bunch although food was not as good served Luke warm and didn’t get a chance to voice as nobody asked how my meal is .. I would go give another go though for friendliness

We visited the Green Dragon as we used to go many years ago when it was The Black Swan. Its a lovely building and glad its able to keep going but it was a bit grubby inside. We hoped to have a couple of drinks and desserts. Unfortunately, when the pancakes I ordered arrived, there was no presentation, there were only 3 components to it and one was missing. Easily solved but it wasn't worth the bother, I gave it to my son. We didn't stay.

Lovely pub, clean, toilet clean, staff happy. The food we ordered was very nice and hot and came pretty quick after we ordered. There is plenty of seating inside, and they also have seating outside. Would go again.

idk why people r complaining. they’re the ones that came to a spoons. as long as waiting on staff bring me my food idc if they smile or not. nice cordial.

Decided to go here for food and as soon as I entered a girl that didn't look any older then 19 at a push with glasses seemed to be quite mean to me and my elderly friends, she seemed like she didn't want to be there and when I almost bumped into her she told me to watch where I'm going I was very surprised with how rude the service was as it always seems to be pleasant I had to leave as I felt to uncomfortable to be there. Sorry I had to leave this review but I didn't expect my experience to be like that.

Been here many of times and everyone has always been welcoming unfortunately this time it wasn't maybe it had something to do with the two brunettes that were on shift, I have been ID many of times and this time unfortunately I forgot it so my partner (with ID) went up to the bar whilst I found us a table. He gave me my drink and 5 minutes later a young girl came out saying I need ID I said I didn't have it but I've been served here multiple times she said "I need your ID or you have to return me the drink" I said okay may I get a refund and she said no you can't, I asked to speak to the manager and she claimed to be her she then brought out another young girl who said they couldn't refund me. My partner said that he wasn't leaving without a refund and the manager replied saying "your hard aren't you" and they refused to give us a refund still they then continued to mock and laugh at me and my partner. I was shocked by the attitude of the workers and especially the manger.
