The Greek Pitta in Luton

Best food in Luton. Falafel is very delicius.

Went at 10pm for a wrap. They had left over Sharwma meat, which they stuck into the microwave to reheat. One bite in to the wrap and the chicken was dry like rubber. I should have cancelled my order as soon as I saw the chicken going into the microwave. Waste of money and won’t be going back.

This is not a Greek place. In Greek Gyros places there is no lamb gyros but pork. Same with souvlaki/ kalamaki. This is most likely a Turkish /arabic owner dressing up the place as Greek. Why? Turkish cuisine is beautuful. No need to dress it up to sound Greek because there is nothing Greek in the market around. *at least the coffee was Greek but that won’t save the bunch. If you are Greek, just know this is not a Greek place.

At the beginning was nice , but now food portions getting smaller ,quality of meet very bad salad and potatoes like few ,its bad and more expensive . Its sad

Ordered the mixed merida and extra chips - presented nice and good portion of food. The chips were BANGING, me and my partner were just eating them for eating sake because it was so nice but the big letdown was the meat. There was a lot of grizzle - chewy and uncomfortable to eat but the flavour of the good meat was great. I might order something different next time to get a different cut of meat, so would deffo order again.

Delivery order came fast and food still warm. Good portions. The chilli sauce was too much like ketchup. The tsatziki was too much like mayonaise (not yogurt)

Souvlaki no taste, the potatoes were not fried well, I ordered once at SOUVLAKI STATION, everything was super tasty I suggest

There were no drivers to take my food to me so after an hour and 10 minutes waiting after I ordered I rang up the restaurant and went and picked up the food myself. When I got there they said it had been ready for ages and that just eat just wasn’t getting a driver to deliver the food. I paid a delivery fee but had to pick the food up myself and by the time I got to eat it it was cold. I want money back.

My family really enjoyed the delicious food in this Greek Restaurant.The chicken pitta gyros was so tasty,big size and the sauce was scrumptious.I highly recommend.

Food was stone cold, chips were really horrible, chicken gyros only had 3 pieces of chicken, a lot of thinly sliced tomatoes and chicken and lamb gyros had no chicken at all. The restaurant took ages like an hour plus to deliver, no apologies or freebies. We won't be ordering from that restaurant again.

Defo one of the best Greek Chicken Gyros I've had. The beef sausages are awesome too.. Nice char-grilled taste.. Well marinated juicy meats, fresh salad, lush sauces, crispy chips.. all wrapped in a warm soft fresh pitta.. what more do you need? Friendly staff, very well priced, tasty fresh food, Halal.. that's all ya need to know. Pictures don't do it justice..

We went against my better judgement and ordered a lamb and chicken gyro and it wasn't very nice unfortunately. We have had other chicken gyros in the past which were amazing. With this one, the lamb was very fatty and the sauce was too much. Staff seemed nice and accommodating but will not return unfortunately. Have had better. Very little sitting, so didn't eat in. It's clearly nice for many as was very busy just as we ordered.

I mean this place is just amazing, must say Greek food it self is already something espectacular but this place Is highly recommend myself as Mediterranean background I love they coffee and the food uh lá lá I had lasagna and for my surprise they had aubergine inside with slide potatoes x_x never being so happy in my life. Amazing place. Husband ordered something looked like chicken kebab and over again well presented and well seasoned we couldn’t ask for more. Will be back for sure.

Zamówiłam dwa chicken pita oby dwa były zimne, obsługa sie pomyliła i dała zamiast Tzatziki to special dip, po zwróceniu uwagi pani nie była zadowolona ze musi wymienić go. Gdy je ponowienie odebrałam okazało się ze pani dołożyła tzatziki zamiast zrobić nowe, było mnóstwo sosów nie dało się tego jeść. Obsługa jest niemiła musza popracować nad obsługa klienta.

Lack of taste, simple salad, few chips in the gyros, Not unique. Overall just bland. Falafel was good. No sauces given with the food. Reviews on here are just a hype…

Tasty, well seasoned food, Lovely people, great service. Clean and friendly. Food presentation was beautiful. My son had a school project to complete on Greek cuisine and his google search lead him here. The service received was fantastic both my sons have been back and I am sure we will all remain return customers. Thanks to the staff on that day, especially D, who inspired my sons in a way he could never imagine. He did this by simply taking the time to talk to and acknowledge my sons efforts in the project he was doing - Thank you. I appreciate that part and the food was a bonus! I was told to go here for good food but ordered a burger and a drink for a massive £9.,50 expecting at least hot. Nah was lukewarm and dire. In addition the staff a young lady did not care to smile say or do anything. First and last visit staff do not care so avoid it. You charge a lot so you need to rise to that.Go elsewhere instead of this lukewarm food and sad faces there.

The food is good ; no doubt, but the customer service is worse than anything . I visited today within 13:30-14:00 . After reaching there I found that the shop is really busy and taking orders . At least 10 standing outside waiting for the food and 4-5 people standing inside including me and will give the order for the food . While ordering the food 🥘 I realised that the new FAT / OVERWEIGHT a young man taking the orders and his body language + and approach to the customer is very rude. I asked for an item and he said it’s not in the Menu and only served with bread . I said it’s ok I will go for the bread . Then while waiting for the food 🥘 the lady nicely informed that the Chicken 🍗 + Rice run out very quickly. As it was very busy the man who was working at the Grill section asked the help from that Young man for packing . That young man just pushed through the line and no manners at all !!!! While pacing the food for others suddenly he told me “ Early bird catch the warm day” . I am so surprised to hear that . Then I reply to him “ When I wake up you people sleep. I just finish the job and came for the food. If the food finish; no problem. Whatever is there I can chose and buy .” While grilling the food it was burnt. I came home 🏡 and had to eat that because I was extremely hungry and I don’t have other choices to cook food again and spend £10 for this !!?!!???!! I would like to take the attention to the BOSS or the OWNER of that restaurant. I wish add that ; your food is good ; but you need to focus on your customer service. Yours employees seems unhappy. Unhappy service will bring your reputation go down locally and you will be receiving bad reviews in upcoming days too . I am so sorry to write ✍️ this review. I didn’t want to , but I didn’t have any choice. THE OWNER SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS MATTER 😳🥱 The Food was over grilled 😩😤😫🫣

Such as the online service or at the shop the service is great! They literally worry about their customers and they are such a lovely people and always hand you the food with a great smile. I have eaten food from there only twice, but I will be ordering more that's for sure! 💙

Chicken gyros used to be better, however they do have good food and options to chose from. Delivery available now, it used to be collection only so that a plus.

AVOID AVOID AVOID ! There is nothing Greek about this restaurant. The meat dry and tasteless they hardly give any chips at all with their meals. The attitude of the staff particularly the manager is absolutely appalling and miserable. They are money grabbers their food has zero quality whatsoever.

Lamb gyros meat had alot of cartilage, alot of chewing. Average at best for the lamb.

Super tasty, fresh, and authentic food. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. A place I keep going back to time and time again for the great tasting food and friendly service.

They aren't enough stars to rate the food this guy's cook. If your In Luton you must try the lamb gyros roll. Believe me, words can't describe the taste! They also deliver through UberEats so just enjoy It and thank me later.

Very dissapointing. If i had opened it in the shop, I would have returned it. This is my lamb kalamaki served with chips. 4 small lamb bits with 6 and half chips. The mrs had a mix pitta with literally 5 chips. Won't be going again. If you do go however, you may want to check your order before leaving.

Wonderful food. I would not normally describe myself as a fan of Greek food but the Greek pitta may have converted me. From the mixed grill to the souvlaki there will be something to enjoy. I sampled a selection of items without knowing what I was getting into and I enjoyed every bite. The tzatziki sauce was particularly light and refreshing.

The food was disappointing, I ordered the Chicken Gyros Pitta, Chicken was cold and the pitta bread was hard and cold, pitta bread they buy ready made and is not fresh.

Loved the Chicken Gyro cooked on a vertical rotisserie 🔥👌🏽. Limited seating area but fab overall.

The food here is great, especially the gyro wraps. This review would be 5* if they only accepted card payments, I don’t usually carry cash on me otherwise I’d be visiting more often.

Craving something greasy?... head down to the Greek pitta! Food is spectacular and appetizing. It's just a shame they don't cater transactions through card, your having to walk down to town just for a cash point to withdraw money.
