The food was delicious and the staff had cooked the food specially to my taste putting an extra effort in. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Enjoy the food every one

Nice people but we got chicken biriani and didn't get no rice but the service was OK and they we very nice people food is nice but we are not happy about the rice

First time ordering tonight, lady that took order was polite. Food arrived quickly and piping hot, delivery guy, smiling and friendly. Food was delicious, honestly the best we've had for a few years, chefs special curry, Chicken fried rice, chicken vindaloo, pilau rice, peshwari naan all very tasty, meat so tender and full of flavour. Complimentary bhajis and saag aloo lovely surprise and so tasty. Was already recommending to friends before we'd finished our meals. 5*

The curry tasted awful, the name sylheti curry sounded authentic but in reality they did not even try to make it taste good. Not ordering again.

Shocking! Been going here for over 20 years and it has always been the best, but now sadly everything has changed. New menu items were just greasy and un edible. Items missed off the order. But the saddest part was all of our usual order was different in taste consistency and heat. After initially looking forward to the usually excellent meal we were all left disappointed and a little queasy to be honest plus nobody finished a single item from the broad range we had. I am guessing it's under new management and for sure new chef(s). After all these years we will now try somewhere else. The downhill descent of Masterchef has been dramatic in my opinion.

This takeaway has always been my go to place! Best food, always arrives on time and food is always pipping hot! My delivery driver Mr Naymer was so polite and friendly, with a big smile! Never been disappointed and always a returning customer. Thank you Master Chef!!

Sorry had to give 2 stars because of the overpricing. Food was not a 5 star dishes, I’ve tried Indian restaurants all across UK and Europe but these guys just paid their bills out of my food. Wouldn’t come back just for the pricing

FIVE STAR PARADISE: Master Chef of Luton. Believe it or not, I had never personally ordered a take away! Being a food snob, I prefer to cook my own dishes. However, as I travel around the world this year, I had an important milestone this weekend! For the first time, I stayed at home and placed an order. And also for the first time, I used Uber Eats. So, for my first ever take away experience, after spending about an hour of research, I chose the restaurant Master Chef Luton, based at 76a Hart Lane in Luton, Bedfordshire. I placed an order for lamb biryani at about 9.18 PM. And the food was delivered to my house in Harpenden at 9.57 PM. I expected it a lot later. So, I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, sincere thank you to the delivery driver "Amran." Amran was able to find my house easily and gave me the package with a great smile. He made a great first impression. Based on this alone, Amran is a great ambassador for the Uber Eats brand as well as Master Chef Luton. And how was the food I ordered? The lamb biryani was pure heaven! It contained healthily large pieces of lamb. The rice was delicious. The quality of this biryani reminded me of some of the best lamb biryani I tasted from 5 star restaurants in Canada. I was delighted to see two other items that I did not order. I was given a naan bread and three poppadoms. The naan bread was so yummy! And the poppadoms were irresistible. In terms of potions, although I ordered for just one person, I was given plenty of lamb and rice that this order could produce two more servings. And I look forward to another heavenly experience tomorrow. And all this for a great price! So, this has been a genuinely fantastic first time with regards to ordering take away foods and Uber Eats. A big thank you to "Amran." (I hope I spelt his name correctly!) And a big thank you to everyone at Master Chef Luton for this superb dish, the lamb biryani. Based on this experience alone, I would rate you as a FIVE STAR CULINARY PARADISE, one of the proud bright lights of Luton Town.

Just spent £14 on a chicken dansak and chilli paneer. First taste of the paneer and all I taste is turmeric. That's fine, I can live with that. Then I try the chicken. The curry sauce is fine but the chicken tastes absolutely nasty, like its been sitting in the fridge for days. We call up the restaurant and speak to a woman who is very condescending and suggests we come back to the restaurant with the chicken so they can "investigate," because the word of a repeat customer is not enough. We explain that we are going away in the morning and the reason we ordered food was for convenience. Travelling 30mins to return the chicken is not convenient. She then talks over me to suggest she can send someone to come and collect the rotten chicken, to avoid me giving a bad review. No thanks, worst service and experience and will never be ordering again

Have been ordering from here gor a while now. Really nice curries, and a bonus small seperate vegan menu. Ordered dansak, dahl, cauliflower pakora and sag aloo all vegan and excellent. The prawn dishes are also great. Jackfruit biryani however was gross. Big chunks of jackfruit not even cooked. Avoid this dish and you'll be fine 🙂 would like to see tofu instead of jackfruit 🙂

Masterchef is the place to go if you want a PROPER curry. You can literally taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I can definitely see why Masterchef have won awards over the years. I tried the mix grill, chicken tikka masala, lamb jalfrezi, garlic naan and chicken biriyani. All of it was too notch, I can't fault it one bit. The takeaway is clean and staff are honest, polite people. I definitely recommend everyone checks this lovely place out.

Ordered food for the first time and it was absolutely disgusting. Asked for spicy food, I could tastes chilli powder. When called to speak to the manager the person on the phone was rude, showing attitude and wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say. I would advise people stay away and spend your money else where for better food.

We usually order Chinese and thought we’d try a curry for a change, this meal may have changed my mind on what my favourite takeaway is! This was so tasty, arrived when they said it would, arrived hot. We ordered £60 worth and got a free potato curry, free poppadums, condiments and sauce. Had enough left over for lunch the next day. Banging!

I ordered here this evening at 17:05 I was told 40/45 minutes the food arrived by 17:15 so I guess clearly microwaved the food used to be freshly cooked I will think twice before ordering again,despite being a customer for many years the food that arrived was average,the rice and Bombay potatoes were luke warm at best ...

Has this takeaway been taken over, i have been using this place for quite a few years and in the last month or so the food has gone from great to poor and and twice we didn't receive all that was ordered, no more from here.

Honestly the food at Masterchef is the best I've ever had. My husband is really fussy with food and he loves this place. As keyworkers we are always busy so this place is a god-send. Always 10/10.

Ordered a meal on Saturday and it was delivered literally 5minutes after we ordered Anyhow the food was barely warm. In fact naan bread cold a d onion bhajees had obviously just been reheated. Have had a few good meals from here but what we had Saturday was obviously not cooked fresh We will not order from here again

This place is loverly! If me and my boyfriend dont know what to eat we can ALWAYS agree on a masterchef always comes really hot and the only time we ever had a problem was news years eve during the pandemic so they must have been really really really busy. I personally would recommend the masala its so nice everytime!!!!

This is not authentic Indian food it’s loaded with sugar. Not a great experience. Indian food is all about flavour, spices etc. The food is loaded with sugar from curries to the rice. Save your money, very poor

Waited over 2 hours for a delivery with still no idea when the food will be with us. Cannot get through on the phone. Horrendous experience. Do not buy from.

We placed an order through deliveroo after an hour and a half of waiting we contacted the restaurant and they told us the order was on the way. Waited another half an hour before we finally contacted deliveroo to find out where it was, they contacted the restaurant and the next thing you know I have an email to say my order has been cancelled because there is no record of it on their system. This means that they blatantly lied to me when I asked them how long my order would be and had no idea what my order was or where it was being delivered too. Absolutely disgraceful, did not expect to have to wait 2 hours for an order to then have it cancelled without any warning or information from the restaurant. Will NOT be ordering from there again!

Had a delivery on Monday. Only thing i didnt enjoy was the chicken curry. The chicken curry had no taste whatsoever i couldnt see any ingredients. Not happy at all. My money has been wasted felt like the curry was from a packet

All of their foods are delicious.. They also do the best chicken tikka masala in the world. I would strongly recommend them. They have been winning awards for best curry in the uk for many years.

Ordered a Lamb Tikka Jazala and you get a huge portion for less than a tenner. The owner also threw in a free naan and even though it costs more than other places it was so nicely made I'll probably order it again. The curry itself is extremely tasty. Probably the best Indian takeaway in Luton.

The curries are not that great there are better takeaways that provide better curry. The prices are for the curries and bread especially is very overpriced. If the curries were good would not care paying extra as the quality and taste of food is worth that extra premium.

Never had a bad meal from these guys in over 7 years of buying food from them. Used to live just around the corner so would buy food and collect it in person. Always given little extras, great customer service. Have moved and food still great from home delivery. The boss was really pleased when they won the best curry awards showing everyone the newspaper article but it was well deserved. As I have said I still use them now even though there are far closer Indian restaurants.

Haven't used this restaurant for a couple of months and boy has it gone down hill. The onion bhargies which are my favourite are the worst I've had in a long while. The prices have seem to have risen and the quality has fallen. A real shame I'm very dissapointed

In my opinion, the best curry in Luton. Have been getting my takeaway delivered from Masterchef regularly for over a year now, having switched from my previous favourite in Hitchin Rd. I'd highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Pathia or Ceylon.

Very good quality food and freshly made. Highly recommend for Indian take away. If you need spicy food don't forget to mention the same while ordering. One good thing is if you collect from the store you will get 10% off from the bill.

Fantastic award winning food!!! Love this place

Really not impressed with their idea of service. You turn up 10-15 minutes before closing time, tired and hungry to find the staff are just standing around. You order a dish, they say OK and take your money, then after 10 minutes you check and find they've not even started cooking it yet because they're cleaning up for the night.

Round Green and Stopsley are blessed with some fantastic curry houses & this one's the best.

We always order from here. It was recommended by a curry 'afficionado' we know (who's also local!) and we have never gone anywhere since. The food is superb obviously, restaurant standard but it the other little touches that make this such a special place. Free sides, poppadoms, all the sauces, salads all courtesy of Masterchef. So interesting to have something you haven't had before and you obviously can order it necxt time if you like, never had a bad one. The first time we went and drove in - we now order from home - the head chef actually walked the take away to our car for us! We have never been anywhere like this and would recommend to anyone.
