Avalon crafted coffee in Luton

great little cafe, love see some authentic Avalon food, lemingtons, rocky road, anzacs and melting moments, as opposed to to the same stuff as every other coffee outlet. A hot rack with pies and sausage rolls and fresh made whole milk shakes.. heat the sausage rolls, sauce and serve in a buttered roll and it would start feeling real. stick some cherry ripes, minties, and jaffas on the lolly rack and it's a starting to feel like an authentic brand....maybe stick a longboard over the fridges.

Coffee isn’t great. Breakfast bap is good. Staff - rather sleepy

I recently traveled and decided to stop at this place for a coffee. It turned out that at 6 in the morning, I needed not only coffee but also positive energy. The communication and customer service are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it!

My dad took some time to order some food in this place and while he took a bit of time,I saw staff coming and shouting at him twice, just because he took extra time to order. He was as waiting for us to go to bathroom and return so we can order together, have never experienced such a horrible service especially being shorted at 5am is just despicable, please train your staff. Whoever looking after this branch I invite you to look into this.

Honestly the best coffee i ve ever had in a airport. Nice and welcoming staff.

Nicole was lovely, she made sure my Cortado is the right consistency: she let me try it until I was satisfied. Also, luckily she asked if my Mum needs chocolate on top of her cappuccino. I am very satisfied with the café and specifically Nicole’s service. We didn’t try the food.

Avalon was a delightful gem to visit! The coffee is exceptional, with rich, bold flavors, and the barista (jasmine) was friendly and showed amazing coffee making skills. The cozy atmosphere and bright colours pulled me in at first glance. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, especially the croissants. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly a really good coffee shop just past duty free in Luton airport ! Great cappuccinos, well pulled espressos, use oatly barista milk which is the best in my opinion for good microfoam, even has teapigs tea ! Highly recommend !

Arrived at 8.40 p.m. only to be told that coffee machine had been cleaned and coffee not available.... staff just wanted to get home early..

For a little airport coffee shop, it is well-thought. All you need at hand. Granola pots were nice and not sweetened, which made me enjoy it that much more. The granola bar was not bad and again non-sweetened with cranberries and while nuts. Delicious. The coffee was really nice. Probably the best in the airport. Service is great, polite and courteous but extremely slow. Not sure because it wasn’t peek time and they were happy to slow down, but it was great we weren’t in a rush.

Honestly, the best in the airport. It's so refreshing to see a non-chainy place that cares about service and atmosphere in an airport. Plus the decorations were a real breath of fresh air!

As a fussy Australian coffee drinker I’m always very nervous about new cafes, especially airport coffee. This was one of the best coffees I’ve had in the UK. Thank you to my barista Cat. I had an oat cappuccino and wish I could have one every day. 👌🏽

Stopped for a coffee before flying. The cappuccino was great, lovely and creamy, nice flavour and perfect temperature. I will definitely be getting my coffee from here on my next travels.

For an outfit serving Allpress Coffee using LaMarzocco machines this place was pretty shocking. I ordered a flat white, the barrister took out a portafilter with a withered coffee puck (clearly been there for a long time) still festering in it, knocked it out, didn’t rinse the portafilter or the machine. Knocked in another dose of coffee, bunged it in the puqpress, back in the machine and…. Yep, almost undrinkable. Left wondering why bother?…. But of course, the endless stream of mugs like me who hope with great ingredients clearly on display, someone in this airport wants to do something differently. This outfit may have the best kit, but with lazy can’t be bothered service, it all comes to nothing. If you want bitter nasty coffee, there’s always Starbucks. Avoid.

Stopped at Avalon to grab a quick bite to eat and coffee before my flight. Staff were super welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing and the coffee was rich and flavoursome. You can tell they take pride in the coffee they sell as it’s such good quality. Would definitely recommend coming here.
