The Greek Grill in Kirklees

Second time ordering from here after the first time was good. Unfortunately the delivery took 2 hours to come. The website said to allow up to 1.5hrs on a Friday but then the offered time slot was 45mins-1hr after ordering. I waited an hour and a half just in case until I called to see where it was. The man was apologetic, but he reeled off a list of reasons why they were behind and basically said he still didn't know when it would come but it hopefully wouldn't be long. I completely get it's stressful being let down by staff last minute and he was probably getting calls all over the place, but I didn't feel that reassured that I was ever going to get food. So another half an hour went and it finally arrived. It was hot when it came, and it was nice but I wasn't bowled over by it. Might be because I was over it at that point. It wouldn't stop me giving it another chance, but this time was really disappointing

Ordered for the first time tonight and can definitely say it won’t be the last time!! The food is absolutely amazing and was delivered quickly by a really friendly driver. I would definitely recommend the mixed gyros box and the tzatziki that came with it was really thick and creamy, delicious 😋

The mixed grill was the bomb- All the meats were cooked perfectly and the lamb chop was a quality sourced offering- would have been nice with another dip option however the tatziki that came with it was great. The chip game may need tweaking- a little over done but not the main event so didn’t impact the meal. The little pizzas are a great accompaniment too or even for kids the perfect order.

Best takeaway I’ve had in ages! The halloumi fries are defo a must. Staff were friendly & service was quick. Will 100% be back :) thank you

First time ordering delivery from here this evening, although the delivery was a little late the food was amazing. Mixed gyros boxes and the greek salad were beautiful.

Great greek food, small but homely place.

Just got our 1st delivery if food from the Greek Grill. Absolutely fabulous food....just like we have had many times on holiday in many greek islands. Beek Stifado to die for...beef just fall apart under your fork...delicious.

An amazing meal from some amazing people! My husband is currently a wheelchair user and they went out of their way to help him organise a surprise meal for my birthday - even delivering it as he couldn't go to collect it. Really lovely, very tasty food and a great team of people 😀

I've been eating Greek food for years, so was really excited when Greek Grill opened. We've not been disappointed. Everything we've tried has been fresh, home cooked, and delicious. Excellent value for money too.

The menu needs to be clearer. I ordered a mixed gyros in a box, 2 pittas and a large dip. I received a mixed gyros in a pitta with chips on it, 2 cheese pizzas, 2 portions of chips, 1 pitta and 2 dips. A bit much for one and at least £10 more than it should have been. Didn't realise till I got home.

5 times we have ordered from here. Food is 100%. They sat 20 min pick up this is always 40 to a hr its like they omy just start it when you walk in. 20 min pick up.

We've been a few times, and every time, there's never been an issue with the food. The staff and the establishment is great. The food took a while but this is reassuring to know that its cooked fresh. The Greek style potatoes are lovely. Overall a great place.

i live on the street opposite i can honestly say the food is excellent. but sometimes the wait for my arranged meal can be 15 minutes which is frustrating when you arranged a collection time. otherwise i would eat there every week.

Decided to take a try on this a few weeks ago, food sizes were good and tasty but the delivery driver gave me meh vibes, didn't say anything when I said thank you and looked at me funny (probably cos the distance) but hey ho.

Had chicken and pork gyros wrap. Although the flavours were good the meat was made up of tiny pieces and extremely dry. I suspect it was reheated from the previous day. Was really looking forward to it but never again. Hate been ripped off. UPDATE. I visited on the 11th Jan at 2.15 pm.

Ordered food Tonight. Lamb kleftiko, absolutely gorgeous, went lovely with the Greek potatoes. Hubby had the Greek mixed grill which he thoroughly enjoyed, my Son had the Chicken burger which went down a treat. Thank you Greek grill for amazing food as usual.

I called in on the off-chance and decided to go for a chicken gyros with no chips, cost £7.50 which is a little over priced for what we got though it did taste nice and the sauce tasted great. Service was excellent, but it is really a takeaway so I don't rate atmosphere.

On our last day before leaving for Canada, we enjoyed another fantastic meal there. The food is absolutely amazing, and the customer service is truly top-notch. In the area on a job and popped in for dinner. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. I had the Greek mixed grill it was beautiful and very filling. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked and the sausage was so so tasty. Most produce is brought over from Greece and some sourced locally. Beautiful I really did enjoy my experience and when I'm in the area again I'll definitely dine with you again. Many thanks, keep up the hard work.

Well it’s currently New Year’s Eve as I write this. We decided to have a nice take-away in and saw this Greek place on the way home. We love Greek food so decided to give it a go. It is by far some of the best Greek food (inside and outside of Greece) that we have ever had. The size of the portions is MASSIVE and the quality and flavour are outstanding. We had the chicken souvlaki box, the mixed gyros box, spanakopita and halloumi fries. This was way more than we could finish, but we’re up until midnight so have seconds to go back for. 😀 the only issue I now have is falling asleep due to the food coma and missing midnight. 😄. We will definitely be back.

We had a falafel wrap and a mixed souvlaki wrap! They were just right! My partner was amazed I managed to eat my whole wrap with no mess as it was perfectly wrapped which is how I like it! Can certainly recommend! Ive also tried the halloumi wrap & moussaka & again lovely!

Amazing giros beautiful hummus, Amazing all round 🤯 abit of a pain that i can only get it on certain days 😔 if the stars are aligned as my partner says this is a must!! 😃 1 star for atmosphere because we got it delivered. Oh and the delivery guy is polite too. 👍

I'm a little peeved that I didn't know about this sooner! I ordered a gyro n chips that was perfect, although I would have preferred the chips separate to the gyro rather than mixed in. Followed by baklava that was out of this world!! I'm intrigued by the moussaka for my next order as I make a pretty mean one myself. I'm looking forward to my next order!

Stopped off here when we drove back to Kent from Scotland. Worth the detour, food was fresh and delicious. The Greek kid behind the counter with a Leeds accent was a delight to deal with. Family owned restaurant done the proper way.

Authentic Greek food on my doorstep, wow. What can I say, I haven't had Greek food like this since my childhood when my Greek family cooked it for me, I'm just sad I haven't found this place earlier! I ordered my food online and collected it within 20 minutes, the food was freshly made, the building smelt delicious, and the employees were without doubt the friendliest I've experienced on collecting take out. Portion sizes were great, plenty of food to share or keep to yourself. If you're in the mood for something new, or need that Mediterranean fix, The Greek Grill is the place to be.

Had this place recommended so I thought why not even though it was a half hour drive away .... the food was fabulous and my pudding was to die for its immaculately clean inside and the staff all friendly.... can't wait to go back and try more off the menu well worth the drive ohh and you can sit in as well.

1st time ordering from there and will be doing from now on. Small family run place the food was some of the best Greek food I have ever had. The guy was sorry for putting up the prices but it was still cheaper than the place we usually use. The food was really fresh. If you are in the area and fancy something a little different than the usual pizza or burger, then give this place a try
