Portuguese/English cafe with traditional food as well an English breakfast and bacon butties. A quick bite of chilli con carne with crispy chips on a cold day made things right again. 😉 Coffee is lovely & I chose the non alcoholic Irish syrup add-on. Staff are busy yet friendly. Always willing to help with an order if something needs changing (if it’s available). Delicious cakes. Bottles of beer too. Open 9am to 3pm. Last food orders at 1.45pm. Cakes are very popular with a mix of traditional UK and Portuguese flavours & sell out quickly. If you’re passing Ramsey, Huntingdon, it’s an ideal pit stop! I even met an Elf 😊

Fabulous little cafe run by the most lovely Portuguese family. We are regulars and always receive a warm welcome. The cafe is very reasonably priced and the rustic bacon rolls and coffee are the best. Theresa knows exactly how to cook our bacon ! The cakes are varied and the Portuguese nata's and custard doughnuts are particularly good. Give it a go, you won't be dissapointed.

The best Chilli loaded fries I’ve ever had, visiting from Cornwall and the care and effort that goes into the food is unreal- like double layered chilli fries who even thinks to put a layer of fries a layer of chilli then cheese and then another layer of fries and chilli. THE BEST! My daughter is a cheesey chip connoisseur an hers were also double layered and cheese on the bottom. The rest of the family had lovely fresh crispy bacon rolls and the milkshakes- need their own category! Amazing. Highly recommended.

Bought a coffee from here on my way to get my nails done a long time ago and I have returned almost every day since (even better now I can get my fix on Sundays too). The coffee is out of this world, the cakes are beautiful, and the food is exceptional. Everything is made and served with love and care by the lovely ladies that run the place/work here. Warm welcomes are always given and this shows in the sheer amount of customers I see returning daily. Always lovely and clean and nothing is too much trouble. Perfect place to sit and relax with family and friends .

On a flying visit to Ramsey Great Whyte had the pavement appeal to reach out to us when we were in need of nourishment.Post-lockdown precautions scrupulously in place, lots of regulars being greeted by name by friendly staff, but the star of the show was the Portugese coffee, the best brew I've had for a long time. That helped to wash down two generous rustic brunch rolls, one sausage and one bacon, and to soothe my disappointment at being too late to grab a pastel de nata custard tart I treated myself to a gorgeous apple tart with stacks of fruit and melt in the mouth pastry. The display of obscure Portugese wines on the wall gave me plenty to ponder too.The premises are a bit cramped, particularly in these trying times, but if you have to wait a bit for a table it's worth it.

We had a late afternoon meeting and found this great little cafe. We started at 4pm so knew we were pushed for time but were not rushed out of the door or put under pressure at all.the cake was excellent and the coffee was perfect! We’ll definitely have another meeting there if we’re in the area again.

An almost hidden entrance to this friendly cafe just on the high street. The attractive grey boarding above the window belies the charming little cafe. It’s ‘only’ a cafe but has friendly, helpful staff offering very affordable and lovely food. A Portuguese (I’d guess) twist to the food it is lovely and “just enough” so you won’t waist any. Just a cafe with far more than just a cafe feel.

I visit this cafe after bike rides with my local cycling group, and we always get a warm welcome and great service here. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners here - faultless service, with great coffee and cakes. Their toast is unbelievable (as We are reliably informed - authentic Portuguese toast) and they have now started doing bacon rolls to go alongside their cheese and ham croissants. There is even a regular visitor card - collect 10stamps and get a free coffee. This is so good - we have even started to visit when we’ve not been cycling.

What a find, nice friendly family run coffee shop. Only had a Latte and a tea but wish we were hungry as the cakes looked yummy. We were asked if we were going to stop for her custard tarts which I can only assume were being cooked on the premises. Very clean. Will definitely be going back.

Where else can you find a café in the Fens that is open in the evenings and Sundays?Answer: Ramsey. Aside from that, traditional Portuguese pastries, espresso, hosts that are central to the local community all add to the welcoming experience and a genuine interest in their customers. Began to pop in the way back from late afternoon midweek or weekend bike rides as everywhere else was shut has turned into regular coffee and pastry stops. A much needed addition to the town, indeed most recently being invited to celebrate St John's day, a traditional celebration in Porto, was a fantastic time to spend eating sardines, pork belly all cooked on the BBQ, soup, Portuguese bread(YUMMY!), chatting, children playing, singing and dancing. I could go. However, many thanks to owners Teresa, Antonio, Katia, Anna and to everyone at the event that made us welcome and part of the celebration. We cannot wait for the next event. Obrigado.

Very disappointing roast dinner on Sunday 26th may for 3 people: it was Luke warm and the lamb was awful no decent slices it was like the end of the joint , when mentioned to the waitress she advised they were short staffed, did take off 20% which worked out £14 which I was still not happy with as didn’t eat even half but left it at that. Never again.

Just had a scam call from this landline and when I’ve googled it it comes back to this cafe. Male claiming to be from O2.

We stayed for my partners 30th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special even put a birthday card in the room which was a nice touch. The spa was excellent and food was delicious. Breakfast was included which was nice. Disliked - Live music at the bar was fantastic but the £8 price for a pint (Menabrea being £8.60 for a pint of lager) resulted in an almost empty bar. It's a real shame, if they had priced the drink a bit lower I think the bar would have been a really busy and lively atmosphere. And as a result people would probably spend more! At 9:30pm it was only us and another couple. We stayed for one drink as it was over to £20 for a pint and a 250ml glass of wine. Simply could justify paying those prices.

At last, we are delighted to have found a decent cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly prepared food. One of the best fish and chips I had for a long time. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Thank you
