The frittata was excellent with a lovely salad and the cheese cake went down a treat too. Also treated myself to a portion of chips !. Prosecco was chilled and tasty and the coffee was excellent. Service was great, timely and helpful. Had a relaxed and enjoyable lunch followed by a walk in the secure dog field. my only regret was that I didnt bring my dog this time

Before going inside, we felt peaceful and quiet with the spacious outdoor area. Going inside, we felt even better because of full of lovely dog wall pictures. The service was excellent. We didn’t pre-booking the afternoon tea set but the waitress asked the chef and we could order it. We enjoyed both the food, environment and the service.

Just had a fabulous meal at The Grange. The food was fantastic, and the staff/volunteers couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent disabled facilities too, one of our group is a wheelchair user and appreciated the space in the restaurant. Our three dogs were very welcome, too. Thank you, we will be back!

Really nice place and setting! The grounds are very colourful with loads of lavender around. Service was easy and the breakfast was good. Everything cooked well, was fresh and hot! Loved that it's dog friendly with the hearing dogs for deaf people as part of it.

Roast: included very raw beef a dessertspoon of mash, one piece of burnt brocolli, there was blood running out of my sisters beef, it was swimming in a very thin bland gravy. Have been twice before and always been pleased with our meals. Dissapointed as we took several guests who ordered the same. Bit embarrassed. Now tried several times to book the tour, but always full.

Had breakfast and lunch whilst staying there (staying not available to general public). The food on 4 days we were there was excellent. Two things to take note of: 1: this restaurant allows dogs to sit in seating area so don't go if you don't like dogs 2: food is freshly cooked so price reflects this Booking is recommended

Very disappointed with the menu, finally chose all day breakfast which other than fish and chips was the only "normal things on the menu" scamble egg was inedible laced with black pepper, surely if you want pepper you have it on the table. I did complain about this but was not offered an apology or different egg.

Not our first visit to The Grange and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, and remember, if you buy anything here the profit goes to help support the charity! There is good parking here. This restaurant is modern, tastefully designed and laid out and very pleasant. It offers Table service and all of the people are very pleasant and helpful. The menu has a good selection and my favourite is the small All Day Breakfast; yummy but not too big for an already ample sized tummy! Their cakes are excellent too! (Not so good for that ample tummy’s waistband!) Pricing is also very reasonable. There is a good range of soft drinks, both hot and cold. Recommended!

Front of house staff are great, but the kitchen has consistently incredibly slow to produce food every time we've been and it's often obvious that they've taken shortcuts to get it onto the table, e.g. undercooking the protein element.

Myself and my wife came last year and the food was especially good on a Sunday and was looking forward to a good meal on returning this year, what a disappointment. I had the trio of meats and my wife had the gammon, we know you have to wait a while for you dinner, but not good when it arrived to the table, pork belly to fatty and chicken dry and gammon had no life in it, the roast potatoes were terrible. We both ordered sticky toffee pudding, which came with custard, the custard was cold and the pudding had no taste, waitress was most understanding and othered to change but by this time we just wanted to go home. A very disappointment as its normally very good here.

We've been here a few times and service, if you're having coffee is really good. However, this time we decided to have brunch and there were several issues. The first is that we were not checked in as arriving which meant we are blacklisted by Open Table. It took 30 minutes for our order to arrive. I'd ordered poached eggs with my breakfast meal and fried eggs arrived (these were replaced). My wife had ordered eggs royal and the muffin was hard and the poached eggs were not runny at all, they were effectively boiled eggs. The staff are very polite and helpful but the overall impression is not good on this occasion. I'm sure we will try again as the experience for coffee and cake is always good. Maybe it was just an off day as the restaurant is always busy.

Beautiful location on that lovely warm weekend in October. We sat outside by the lovely English garden terrace. We ordered quickly. The venue warrants a better restaurant experience and menu. The quality of the food is disappointing (4th below par visit). Its more like a cafe. Its often busy so maybe we hold a minority view point. For consistency, menu, service and standards there are much better options not too far away. Sorry for the bad review. :o/

Met up with friends for lunch, as had many others. The food is very good , wide choice of mainly healthier options. Bills are card payment only and paper free-no receipt- which would be ok, but for the fact that the bill could not be split. This meant when paying the bills-(drinks had to be paid on receipt as did the food, too,) they were paid by one of the group and the rest of us paid her in cash! Given the venue is very popular for meet ups like ours, not being able to split the bill is very inconvenient and somewhat took the shine off the day!

Usually one of my favourite places to eat but sadly did not deliver when we visited on the 25th June. We both ordered the fish finger (hake) sandwich, they took over 45 mins to arrive and they must have been forgotten and left on the side as we saw people who were served a while after us getting their food. When they did arrive they were extremely dry and not enjoyable at all. Such a shame as this place is usually great

Seated on arrival with no problems. 12.45pm Dog bowls of water by the door. Drinks order was taken quickly but the waitress told us we would need to wait 5 minutes to order food. 1pm, we ordered and then waited for over an hour for our food. When we chased, staff apologised but still we waited. 2pm, food began to arrive. Caesar salad didn't have anchovies despite them being on the menu. Chicken skewers arrived without the flat bread. Club Sandwich arrived almost 10 minutes after the first of the four meals was brought to our table. It arrived with no mayo or butter on the bread and so was dry. Two portions of sweet potato fries didn't arrive with any of the other food, and not until 5 minutes after we reminded the waitress they were in the order. They weren't very crispy and were quite greasy.

Impromptu lunch with my mum who had heard good things….we were very pleased, warm welcome, quickly seated, beautifully clean and organised restaurant, efflcient and helpful service by volunteers. And the food and drink were outstanding. Tasty and good value. Even the toilets (which my mum always rates!) were impeccably clean. Only improvement - as mentioned to the lovely waitress - please add at least one diet drink to the menu for us diabetics; it’s so hard otherwise as can only have water. But lots of venues seem to miss this at the moment. But we will still be recommending too!
