The Golf Lounge in Glasgow City

Great food and a really fun friendly atmosphere! The staff are really nice and give really good service. They have recently just upgraded all of their Golf Booths and they are amazing!

Decent for an afternoon out. Decent booths for playing and can take big groups.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. There happened to be a live band playing jazz and were very good. The golf simulator was ok. It doesn’t seem to read the shots very well. Good for a bit of a laugh. Although was a bit frustrating at times. I think the host can explain how to avoid some of the bugs like the putting. I wouldn’t bother booking the packages if I was going again. The food parcels were frozen spring roll things deep fried - not particularly nutritious food. The pizza was really good. Just book the sim and buy the food you want.

Attended Sunday for Bobby Deans Big Band. Truely wonderful experience with some very talented musicians playing for about two hours. Can’t believe this live music this good is free !

Wee night out with work mates was a good atmosphere but food that was provided as part of the deal was a bit disappointing only 1 small pizza some chips and 2 small plates of spring rolls 10 bottles of beer was part of the deal but food let it down overall we had a good night

Had a great 2 hour golf session at the golf lounge. 15 of us had a great time and the food was really tasty. Would highlyrecommend and I'd definitely go back again. Top stuff 👏

Just to feedback, you don't seem to answer your phones or reply to any correspondence! I have tried calling numerous times, left a voicemail and an email message on your website on Wednesday and have heard nothing back since then. Our group has chosen to go to Top Golf instead. And the website booking does not seem to correlate with the packages online. Tried booking the 4 ball package at 140 pounds and it then converted to a different package - 'The Grinch' package at 225 pounds?! This really shouldn't be that hard in the 21st century! Won't be back.

I'm a short person it would be good to have a choice of drivers that I could use the one we had was as tall as me 😁 but we still had a laugh

Just popped in for a drink and found a big band in full swing. Quite loud for a small venue but very enthusiastic musicians. Service was very good. It is now known as Paloma Lounge but the golf studios are still operating.

Great way to spend an afternoon. We took the food and drinks package which did the trick (didn't improve by golf mind). It's a brief walk up a hill but worth it. A couple of different courses on offer.

Golf game wasn't working right . They said it's because it's more than 15 years old. Some of the club grips were turning and one of the balls was that old it split into 2 .Tried to book through Christmas but it was shut for a revamp. Don't no what they did

Great afternoon here. Helpful, friendly staff. You can book ahead and that's worthwhile doing. Bar service was spot on. We didn't eat here but food is available.

First time here but definitely won't be last, had a great night and staff very friendly and helpful.

A group of 16 of us had booked a golf outing to a local course,however due to bad weather this was not possible I reached out to Gary at the golf lounge the evening prior and he could not have been more accommodating . Excellent service and facilities all round.

5 of us got the package with 2 free drinks and a buffet, was really surprised how good the buffet was and a great selection of drink ! Staff were friendly and let us play a little bit over our time as one of us was sitting at +55 😂 will definitely be back thanks again golf lounge !

Nice place for corporate events

4 off us went Great fun day out. Apart from the woman playing we only got 3 holes completed. All fun though. Will be back again soon

Much better now than used to be now. More realistic pricing and fresh approach. The golf is great but the potential here is its actually a nice unknown bar. Massive potential here, great wee afternoon, shout out to manager Gary and good luck for the future. Definitely be back.

Nice bar and if your into golf you can hit a few balls

Ordered a burger and waited 45 minutes for it. When I eventually got it,it was the wrong one. One of my friends didn't get his at all. They then told him the kitchen was now closed. Bar staff not very friendly, one woman in particular was extremely rude. A group were watching the football on tv and the woman walked into the room and shouted " I hope yer team get pumped" True.

Brilliant place with work colleagues

Great venue, brother had stag day there and had the best time - golf was fun and had full use of the private pool room with large tv, everyone had the best day/night. Huge shout out to the staff working on the 9th April 2022 could not have been anymore attentive and food was just perfect. Guys will definetly return for a beer soon. Thanks to everyone, great work.

Not great, graphics on screen very poor Certain staff members not very friendly and rushed us out, buffet ok but not easy eating buffet then jumping up to take shots with greasy fingers,toilets could be cleaner. All in in all wont be back. 4 members of party all experienced golfers had same opinions

Had a great night in The Golf Lounge. To be fair I am rubbish at golf and no end of practise will ever change that but the Atmosphere and easy going vibe makes for a fabulous set up. I would Highly recommend it.

Would give it 0 stars if possible booked a good few days in advance for golf then turn up and it's not open travelled for a night out to find out its closed not even a call back or anything very disappointing

So I had my hopes up for this one and was let down majorly. The website looks very crisp and clean, up to date, and seems promising. They boasted state of the art simulation golf, full sound so you can hear the breeze and waves break depending on where you’re laying, and a good selection of beer and food. When I arrived, I noticed immediately the quality of the projector was way lower than current standards. Very hazy. Dimly lit. Had to up the brightness on my phone a ton just to see the detail. On top of that, there were no speakers in the bay to be found. Therefore it was basically silent golf for me. When asked if I wanted a beer, they said “yes, Coors, Blue Moon, “ and one other beer I don’t recall. Rather small listing. The clubs I used weren’t in great shape; the driver had a busted internal that you could hear shaking around, and the grip was coming off one of the irons. I still give this place 3 stars because it’s an option to play golf with a group of people on a rainy day and their course selection is vast. I’d go back if they decide to renovate or upgrade to current specs and clean up the place a bit.

Rude and stuck up staff. Would not recommend. Would give 0 stars of it was an option!!!! From moment we walked in untill we left not one member of staff cracked a smile. We spent a lot of money on food and drink and the service was shocking. They were slow and uninterested. Place could be great if you had the correct staff front of house!!!.

Booked this for a day out with friends, from the moment we walked in we felt uncomfortable, we went straight to the bar to say about our booking and the staff just showed us where to go with no interest and a terrible attitude no manners what's so ever. We played our games and before we could even see our score at the end which we were looking forward to as we are a competitive bunch, one staff member just ended the game straight away , we tried to explain we wanted to see the results but he just walked away and said nothing. If I had there names I would name and shame . Defiantly wouldn't recommend this place.

Gone downhill a bit in the past year or so and looking a bit old now. They do show a lot of sport though

If you're looking for something a little different from a night out this is worth a try. Good value drink and food packages available. We were in a group of 8 and none of us were golfers, and still enjoyed it. Setting up the games weren't that easy, a bit of a footer to be honest.

Thought this would be a bit sh*t but it turns out it was really good fun. Only there for 2 hrs but you could spend a long time in here with a good crowd of people. Worth a visit.

I am not a golfer but love to pop in here during the week for lunch with colleagues, great food, great prices and great location for city centre workers x

General manager (Ross) was not a very nice person was quite short tempered and almost aggressive to us was a nice play and bar staff Darren and Katie were very lovely 10/10 for them but Ross ruined the experience for me and my friends I’m afraid other than the manager the place is nice for a night out with some friends!

Great fun place for a relaxed night out

First time for 8 of us and only 2 with any golf experience. We all had a blast and everyone enjoyed the night so much we stayed till near closing.

Went for a stag had a cracking night , staff where very helpful and decent prices for drink would definitely go again !

Went here for my brothers stag on a 2hr package, worth every penny. Not mega busy and staff were really attentive, would recommend.

Good place for a laugh on night out. Beer and golf Sims work well. Perhaps a bit fraught with danger if too drunk when swinging mind 🤣
