Have eaten here numerous times recently Gavin and Micheal have totally turned this pub around. Food was delicious food portions are good food quality brill fully recommend 👌

Came here for Sunday lunch and to watch the rugby. Great space. Pre booked the table and meal. Our meal was delicious. Very friendly staff. Great service.

Great atmosphere, amazing staff with friendly service with a smile. Food 10/10 me and my friends had a steak that was cooked perfectly to how it was asked and the burgers were divine. Would 100% recommend for drinks and food.

I visited the Golden Lion a couple days ago, My lord it was so clean, staff were so polite. I had the mega mix grill and it was 10/10, reasonably priced and very filling for 1 person. Very impressed, keep up the good work Tyler +team:)

Popped in to check the place out gavin, Micheal and sim are doing amazing there very friendly and making a proper go look forward to the kitchen opening and when u walk in to the pub it smells fresh and looks very clean a wide selection of drinksfor adults and kids a would highly recommend this place its changing in a gd way in such little time can't wait to see what these guys have planned

Clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming. There is a great range of drinks available. This is an ideal place to play pool and meet up with friends. Dog friendly. I can not recommend this place enough. Outside is lovely

Left a bit late but forgot to write my amazing review of a night we had at the golden ,I popped in with friends for a quick drink and we stayed in all night to a fab kareoke,we were made to feel so welcome by staff and customers. ,we will definitely be returning for the next kareoke.

Great food. Owners very friendly. Definitely recommend the Lamb Chops. Lamb curry. In fact everything we ordered was full of flavour

Was visiting a friend in the area and wanted some food , found this lovely pub with amazing mixed grill Indian food. Tasted yummy, hot food and good. Recommended to all age groups , family friendly and good atmosphere. Pub and mixed grill in one . Good parking and good location . Services were great .

First visit. Never again. Kids running riot in the “sports bar”. Sport on TV no sound. Incessant music and some speech heard. Real Ale: forget it. Landlord needs to get a grip of children. Little if any parental control. Positive: seems to have a tandoori restaurant although pricey menu.

Well what can I say is the food was just superb in fact outstanding with out a doubt the best I have had in Bromsgrove for a long long time my partner is a vegetarian and hers was just so freshly cooked the best she as had was her words and the staff were so friendly and helpful will be going there again with out a doubt and there on about doing a loyalty scheme 👍👍👍

Wonderful fish pakora and good portion (probably the best I’ve had), good large naan, really flavourful saag chicken and butter chicken, even the rice was good, no complaints from us! Will definitely be using you from now, best in Bromsgrove. Only suggestion, on-line ordering could be better.

Visited to watch the play off final. Reasonably priced and a great atmosphere throughout. Nothing was too much for the bar staff.

New management in place and there is a big improvement in the pub a great visit and will be back. Drinks and service was very good.

Made the mistake of having xmas dinner here. The food, service and management were all disgusting. Ruined our Christmas that's for sure. Not a single apology, just "if it makes you feel any better, I'm not having Christmas dinner either" Josh really shouldn't be running this place, makes a pure mockery of it!

Sadly ruined our Christmas. We was there a total of 5 hours to be served nothing but crap! Freezing cold, dry and burnt. Not even 1 . Had the soup that came out quickly, then only having to wait for a hour for the main Xmas meal not roast potatoes with the Christmas meal the rest loaded with veg and all the food temperature cold worst meal ever definitely not worth the money . Very poor

had a great meal and value for money will be coming back again clean tables and friendly service and with £3 £6 £9 for meals to suit all i highly recommend you wont be disappointed

We went today for a Sunday lunch which was excellent. The pub is under new management and is clean and tidy with a great atmosphere. The choice of food was Beef, Turkey or Pork with all the trimmings. £9 for a large meal or £6 for a small. During the week there is food for £3, £6 and £9 to suit. I highly recommend.

Came for a game of pool and a drink on a hot day after been sent home early. Was greated by a very smiley and welcoming young lady. Will be coming again to try the new food starting on our lunch in few weeks and look forward to another welcoming smile and great service
