The Golden Flower in Halton

Ordered food online at 7pm and didn't receive it until 9.30pm and phoned twice in-between asking where it was. My daughter had to go to bed without any as she was too tired and it ruined my mother's day tea. When we finally got it the crispy duck was chewy, worst I've ever had. Salt and pepper chips and squid were actually salt and chilli flavour. And special fried rice had about 3 prawns in it and didn't taste like what I have had before. Overall a very bad take away so won't be using again.

Nice food friendly staff meal was very nice and a good selection to choose from give the place a go, Place has parking outside and they also deliver.

Please avoid this chippy constantly messing up delivery’s ordered food only sent half so 1st half went cold while I wAs waiting for the rest to be delivered I cut me losses and told him to take it all back £18 out of pocket but know not to use again

The golden flower chippy in Widnes provides delicious fish and chips beautiful crispy batter on the fish and good portions quick and polite service every time wouldn't go anywhere else

We had an absolutely delicious meal delivered from this takeaway on valentines day last week. It was a big order but it came with nothing missing and even some suprise extras (pop and fortune cookies). Highly recommended.

Never ever has this chippy got my food right so I ring up because my meal would be spoilt and they make a lier out of me saying I'm wrong when I wouldn't bother ringing up if I had the food infront of me!, the Chinese women I spoke to was so rude and it's not the only bad thing I have heard about this place!.. saying they will bring my food which I have paid for and they still haven't been now!

Asked for a special butty for me and my partner, I asked for the barm to be on top and not underneath to stop them going soggy and was told I would be charged extra for this. When I asked why because I'm getting the exact same thing in the box I was told no. Left the shop would not recommend as I received terrible service!!!

Recently ordered a Chinese takeaway from the Golden Flower. There was a minimum order price and also a delivery charge to pay, making the meal total for 1 over £8. Food was hot on delivery and very tasty - huge portion of rice, could easily reduce the size to avoid throwing about half of it away.

Long established, over 25 years. family run business. Combining Traditional Fish and chips plus a vast menu of Chinese food. Very generous portions.

Ordered a combo for me and my friend and ask if we could swop soup to a different one as my friend doesn't like chick and sweet corn and was going to be charged a extra 2.00 for a simple soup swop

Absolutely our fav takeaway at the moment the delivery time is great and the food is awesome you gotta try the mussels in black bean as a starter they are proper lush as are the shu mai and the mains are just top notch . special foo yung and chicken in cashew are proper . our takeaway of choice at present , give it a try an you wont be disappointed.

We have has take away from here for years. Fab hot tasty food. Would recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings. Thanks again

i have had a variety of meals from here and never had an issue - however i do feel sometimes the prices are slightly steep. the portions are generous.
