Great place and tasty food. I visited Golden Fish recently, and the food was delicious. Even, when they prepared the footthe take care of all hygiene rules. I love the place and food. I will surely visit again.

My go 2 chip shop, can't fault this place at all. Food is always delicious and fresh, taste is amazing never to greasy and if I do every have a issue it's sorted within minutes.

Purchased a pizza, absolutely horrible, stodgy just junk food, tasteless. Used to get our fish and chips there too however, Fish is never cooked, batter shocking

We had pizza previously which was delicious, loved the fresh flavour, pipping hot and good selections of toppings. Last night we went for fish and chips and sides…. Excellent, I’m not usually a curry sauce with chips, I went for the mushy peas, yum by the way… daughter loved the curry sauce had a try, my loyalty is torn, curry or peas…the curry sauce was delicious. Thank you for a fun family night.

Used to be the best.food was gorgeous.now the chips arent cooked properley and soggy and greasy ,the batter on everything is awful and the fish was soggy and very thin.need to relearn how to batter things and stop cutting corners.very disappointed as the staff are lovely and the food used to be amazing

We often use this takeaway, the staff are lovely, the food is great value for money, always hot, and tasty. When delivered, always on time and delivered by polite courteous delivery people, its the only chippy i would honestly recommend in this area 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chips were very nice, with good size potions. I was not keen on the fish as batter could do with improving. Nice people too. To be fair the fish was not to my taste.

Wow, enormous cod, solid and fresh with crispy batter, served with sweet brown chips. A world away from the usual pale, insipid and soggy offerings dished up at most kebab/pizza/etc etc takeaways. Fantastic!

Poor customer service, no knowledge on allergies what so ever. Argumentative when they are in the wrong (batter with contains egg touched my son's food and he is allergic to egg) but apparently picking the batter off is ok?! No it's still touched so he can't have it. Attitude from the make and female was appalling and I am ringing food safety tomorrow to follow up allergen issues they think are fine. Will definitely not be going ever again. Can't even stress how angry I am with the their response to my son's food touching batter contain egg.

cold unfortunately some chip shops rely on keeping the product hot in a holding area above the oil it doesn't work

Lovely fresh fish, cooked to order, best fish and chips I've had for a while. Beware the portions are enormous. We had the standard cod and it was hanging off the dinner plate! Two portions of chips between three was still too much. Staff friendly and helpful. Surprised by some of the reviews...would definitely recommend.

Honestly never ever ever would i go there again total garbage. Waited 10 mins standing in shop and still not even asked what i would like the are more interested in just eat orders and collections. Poor

Ordered on just eat which was great, got to the shop and waited in the cue to find out my wrap had been waiting on the top for the twenty mins I was in the cue! The bloke didn't help at all and stood just looking at the cue! Got it home, it was cold and soggy and went straight in he bin!

Over all the food is quite reasonably priced but not the best quality. The service received is shocking really, can often be two or three blokes behind the counter and only one women serving. Over all ok for a quick fix when on a tight budget.

He de decir sinceramente que nunca he probado mejor Cod. Me dieron el Jumbo bacalao que cuesta £4.00 y fue un tamaño que tenía que darle a caber en el plato.Las patatas fritas son excelentes pero de nuevo una porción servirían para tres personas.Yo sin duda no ir a ningún otro sitio para un Fish & chips para llevar.Keep up the good work Golden Fish Inn!
