The best chicken and sweercorn soup in Dundee. The rest is a hit or a miss. Chippy OK.

Battered sausage was good to eat, chips was dry and like it’s been sat there for hours, no flavour, family got food poisoning. Curry tasted rank just don’t go here unless you wanna risk food poisoning.

Spent £20 on 2 beef curries with boiled rice cartons fullof onions beef tasteless and curry sauce watery phoned and complaines No Customer relations wont be back save your money folks.

Didn't get my order and when I called about being a meal short bi told then I was putting on Facebook and was still plumbed and also was hung up on 3 x bad as. No excuses.

Ordered a chicken chow mein and a chicken curry...the whole lot went in the bin...I have never tasted anything so vile in my entire life...won't be ordering from there again

Husband just been in tonyt toget chips reheated about god knows how many times disgusting not the first time this has happened deffo be giving this a miss from now on.

Ordered Chinese food so why would you put chippy chips in order disappointed

Ordered white pudding supper full of grease chips are unedible, rice undercooked that came with satay chicken which was ok, ordered a small portion of noodles big portion however lots of bean sprouts and noodles were dry and had a funny taste over all wouldn't order here again

1st time ordering here and was very tasteless. We ordered a chicken curry with fried rice and salta and pepper chips. The chips were undercooked and the curry was bland. Nothing against the owner as it was my first time just the food.

Salt and pepper tofu gets me every time. Love it.

Great chips, freshly made. I love getting chicken fried rice also 😁. Still as great as ever - our go to after swimming 😃. Just had another visit and as good as always 🙂

Awful... chow mein bland tasteless, chips refried and cold...waste of hard earned money. I work in catering...ordered this as a treat, never got past first forkful... they need a lesson in food preparation and cooking.

I'm not a fan of the Chinese food here. I've not trird any of the chipy food here so I can't commit in that till I've tried it.

Decidí probarlo, pero los chips recalentados y el pescado es indescriptible, la peor cena de pescado que no vale la pena.

La comida era estupenda, muy sabrosa, caliente y entregada a tiempo. La instalación de seguimiento es excelente, ya que al parecer hizo que la comida llegara más rápido de lo esperado.

I think the curry sauce tastes a bit lemony

Solía ​​usar este chino antes de que se tomara y realmente me gustó. Mi marido y yo pedimos pollo al curry en el fin de semana y nunca en mi vida he tenido pollo asqueroso. He estado aquí 3 veces desde que cambió de dueño, y debo decir que creo que es una de las mejores para llevar en Dundee. El único inconveniente es que al hacer su pedido para obtener su pedido, es muy lento. Sin embargo, esto no me impedirá volver.

Food is smashing chippy and Chinese food together can't beat it

This place used to be by far the best Chippy in Dundee but a average Chinese and for some reason they stopped selling Chippy food ,makes no sense

I've had my fair share of Chinese food over the years, from many different restaurants, and I can honestly say this is without a doubt the best place for Chinese.

First time visiting here for a takeaway, could see the food being made in front of you, a wee bit of a wait for it so maybe better phoning in and picking up, got home and it was brilliant food was hot and tasty .

Don't know what there talking about plus call themselves a chip shop but been good if they told us all only Chinese food...

We have been going to Golden Crown for years and love it. Fresh and tasty food and a very varied menu. The sweet chilli chicken is my favourite. We had family here from England in the summer and they were very impressed with the food. Best in Dundee! Chris and Ian

The golden crown, in my opinion serves the best fish, it is fresh and really tasty, the staff are nice and friendly.

Went here on the first night I arrived in Dundee (as recommended by my sister who uses here frequently). Ordered 5 different meals........Four from the fish n chip menu and one from the Chinese menu. We had a bit of a wait as obviously it's all freshly cooked but it was worth the wait. The portions are huge and I didn't even get half way through my meal. The staff were friendly enough and the place is obviously popular as there were people coming in to pick up phone orders and others just waiting like us. I recommend this place to others :)

I have used this place for Chinese food for years, it is a long established family business and the food is definitely amongst the best in Dundee! Spare ribs in syrup are unspeakably good and crispy chilli beef likewise! Recommended!!
