Food as always delicious and piping hot

Starters were excellent, however I found the curry sauce in the bain dish way too salty. Would definitely order from China Pot again, but would avoid anything with the curry sauce.

Food was great, Special curry set meal for one, highly recommend. Curry had a bit of a kick to it which i loved, chips were big and fried in clean oil.. 10/10 all round! EXCELLENT

This is our go to Chinese takeaway. Food always delicious, ready promptly and staff are lovely. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

ordered at 20 past 5 said delivery was gonna be back of 6 great! ordered my new found favourite beef and black bean chow mein with chips and curry sauce! fantastic tasty and super hot. Just enough for left overs tomorrow lunch too.

Had delivery today was worse iv had In Dundee was cold by time delivery driver got hear over a hour notations on phone said was out on delivery for 30 minutes the curry and beef had weird taste

Excellent food.. first time we’ve tried, only criticism is the curry sauce is a bit on the spicy side for my preference but that’s ok still ate the lot. Will definitely try again. 👍🏻

excellent taste and service again 👌 only tiny thing would be I feel the wontons are always over cooked I just eat the wee filling as rest is rather crunchy

Chicken wasn't good quality- strange texture. Coating on the salt and chilli chicken was soggy. Sweet chilli sauce just tasted like sweet and sour. None of it tasted very fresh.

Used this Chinese takeaway as our usual place was closed. The delivery was prompt but was very disappointed with my meal!!! Couldn’t believe it when I had only 6 prawns in my king prawn curry - well over priced for the quantity and quality of food!!!

Food is excellent and service is fast. Little trouble with communication, but I'd recommend this takeaway A*

1st time ordering from here,we had salt&pepper chicken and a chicken chew mein,both meals were lovely,next Chinese meal will definitely be from here.

Chicken wings were awful, dry, stale and mostly bone! The honey sauce didn't taste like it should at all and was so thick and curdled. The curry sauce taste weird. Chips were stale! The woman on front serving was so ubrupt. Definitely the worst Chinese we have tried, won't be back.

Some of the order was wrong but they apologized and sorted it free of charge and within 10 minutes.

Made a visit to China Pot today whilst staying in the Area, Excellent food, more than reasonable prices can’t speak highly enough best Chinese food I’ve eaten in a very long time. Wish I lived closer, but when back in the area will visit for sure 💯

Food was only warm some of it cold

We order 2x meal for one. Soups were inedible, like eating mouthfuls of salt. Main meals were more spicy than expected (compared to other takeaways in Dundee we have had) - which I don’t mind but my partner was unable to eat his. Fried rice/ chicken balls in batter/ veggie spring rolls where all as you’d expect.

First time ordering from here but won't be my last

Even though the delivery was delayed they made us aware and were very apologetic, food was so good. Will definitely order again

Just had a,takeaway first time ever never again. We got a special chow Mein. Not appetising to look at so dark in colour overloaded with some dark? Soya sauce. Will be drinking water all evening. A real disappointment

The food from here is absolutely disgusting! I ordered a curry sauce chips with fried rice the sauce was paste like and had a strange smell to it. Did not bother contacting the restaurant as I would not want any other food from here! Avoid at all costs and save yourself money.

food was lovely and tasty, partner enjoyed that the curry was a bit spicy, only bad thing I can say is that it wasn't very hot on arrival. Maybe invest in thermal bags for delivery but apart from that I would order again.

Food delivered before start of expected timeslot - was hot but not as tasty as previously tasted. Roast chicken and gravy was very vinegary.

First time trying this Take Away. So glad I did. All the food was piping Hot. The Chicken Balls were Crisp and fresh as were the Spring Rolls. Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup was classic. But the star of the show has to be the Prawn Curry. Deliciously Spicy and packed with tender perfectly juicy King Prawns. Would highly recommend to everyone and in particular those that like their Chinese curry with a nice bit of spice. Delightful. And the delivery driver was professional and friendly.

Overall food is good. Just a shame an order over £50 came with no free prawn crackers/spring rolls like other Chinese’s do.

Food was nice. Sweet & sour sauce & BBQ sauce both quite bitter for me. Fried rice & mini spring rolls were good. Not a place that gives free prawn crackers so make sure you order them.

Had x2 chicken curry with spring rolls, boiled rice & chips. Chips were actually really good usually chips are rubbish from takeaways, curry sauce tasted great, chicken portion was plenty & the spring rolls were the best I’ve had in Dundee, not your generic x10 spring rolls, these were x5 and were so tasty 100% be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beef, brocoli, oyster sauce, broccoli overcooked to almost mush and very thin sauce. Mongolian chicken, chicken very dry And all food was ambient tempature apart from the ribs which were hot.

Chicken curry was very spicy that is almost lacked taste. Service and communication was poor and took 2 hours to arrive after originally saying 35 mins delivery time.

After reading reviews was excited to try however curry sauce was like jelly literal group there was no prawn crackers either usually when ordering over 10/15 pounds crackers includes massively let down won't be back

Food was digusting rice was all clumped together and soggy and the beef was very very chewy and not meshed together with the awful sauce will never be back

Wholesoem, tasty food, and the best delivery driver I've had in months. Actually switched on and reached out to me when I was a slob and missed the first attempt. Excellent service, China Pot take their customers seriously.

Used this place several times. Food always tastes great, and is always piping hot. I ordered a huge order for work, and the staff even helped me out to the car with it. First class service, and great food.

Quick delivery tasty food but £6 for four prawns

I buy Chinese food/carry outs regularly and have to say this was one of the worst I have had for a while, the salt n pepper chicken was full of uncooked onions, the chicken did not seem like it was chicken, and was over fried, the kung po prawns were tasteless and dry, the vegetables were uncooked. I live local to here but won’t be back.

defo the best in dundee .without a shadow of doubt. Beef is like thin cut frying steak . Sublime curry sauce is absolutely amazing... a wee bit nippy but not to hot . Incredible

My hunger was insatiable, so I ordered via this handy app. Some time later a very attractive young Asian man arrived with tastes from the orient. It was most satisfactory.

Food was lovely, very tender chicken.... cooked perfectly. Chicken with brocoli very enjoyable and son loved the salt and chilli chicken starter.

Said it was delivered when it wasn't, was standing waiting for ages for food we thought that had been taken by someone else or our order has been lost

Terrible. Szechuan chicken was like boiled chicken in bisto gravy, no punch no colour to the meat. Noodles were fine. They sent the wrong items for the other half of the order. Avoid ordering from here.

Always come here when we get a delivery, very fast and very hot! The portions sizes are perfect. Curry sauce is spicey too which is what you want. I have recommended this place to a few people and will keep doing it
