Thu 4 Apr 24 at 1358hrs. Visit chopstix, and the service from the lady with black jihad was very, very poor. She is way too slow and can't even smile to the customers. Way she handles the serviing spoons was ridiculous. She needs to be educated on customer service. She will ruin the reputation of your business. Sack HER.

The have a fair offering of toppings and offer a meal deal option. This is more expensive that mcdonalds but if you prefer something a little lighter or less greasy then this js a great option. The sitting area is fine. It was clean when we visited and it has a lot of seating for the space without feeling crammed in. The food itself is OK. I had the sweet and sour chicken and the caramel chicken. Both were ok. The rice was a little dry and there wasn't enough sauce to fully cover the rice. Staff were friendly enough, interaction is limited due to the nature of the place so after doing your order you sit and do not need to interact with them again which is fine. One thing to note is that in other similair venues there has been the option of veg for the meal but here this is not an option, you get the veg that comes with the topping of your choice. We visited wanting a quick and easy bite to eat that was too expensive or too heavy and that is what we got.

The food’s pretty decent, just odd that the egg fried rice has no egg in it everytime I’ve ordered it, or even when you look at the pictures of other people’s reviews, but on the app the image shows that there is egg in there.

Really disappointed this time. There was only burnt rice so I chose noodles, but there were not many left so didn’t het much. When I was eating them they were SO salty - really put me off. The chicken was delicious but the lack of noodles and those I had being way over salted was really off putting. Also felt sorry for the girl behind me in the queue. She asked for teriyaki beef and was told it had been changed for a plant based one. She left. Have only given 3 for atmosphere because the table had not been wiped in a while either. There’s fast food and then there’s poor standards

Haven't visited in a long time. Not for any particular reason. Popped in again and realised how much I missed it. Great value for money. The boxes seem small at first but pack a bunch. I was very happy that they offered a new plant based teriyaki beef. The staff were all very polite and accommodating. I was with my dad who didn't know what to get so he asked a member of staff what he would recommend and the staff member seemed very knowledgeable asking him if he wanted something sweet, a bit spicy etc. The app also has good offers. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Took my daughter in quickly as she was looking forward to some food. Was really busy but the staff got through the queue quickly and were polite and very efficient. The guy serving even mentioned the meal deal for her so was very helpful. Daughter enjoying her food and would go back, may be next time sit in. Thanks to the staff on today.

Visited for the first time while seeing friends who live in Dundee, I really enjoyed it, and I made the mistake of getting the regular, not knowing how much I would be getting. Looks like I'll be taking some with me. The salt and pepper chicken is really good.

Friendly staff and amazing food made fresh and ready quickly

I ordered from here and the food wasn't fresh. The rice was hard and the noodles tasted like it was marinating in soy sauce for 5 months. I expected this place to be very good, but the food wasn't fresh. The boxes were very small and I expect medium size boxes, not small. I understand it's cold outside and it may not taste as well, but it tasted like month old food. I hope Chopstix gets a better future.

Great service, really good food, would definitely recommend. Our server was a person called Melissa, they were lovely and very quick, great communication.

The food's always good, and if they notice something is running low, they'll offer a substitute quickly and generously. The staff are always quick, friendly and helpful. Visited on 12th December 23 after travelling from Perth for some Christmas shopping. I had honey chicken with rice and noodles, and chicken balls on the side. Food was amazing had all the flavours you would expect and was hot when received. The staff were lovely very helpful along the way. Alex and Lee went above and beyond with their customer service nothing was to much hassle for them. Good job I will be back

So I’ve been here before and the food is very tasty and flavourful so just today as well, the portion I remember were okay as well, but I ordered food for 22£ without including delivery!! So the reason why I’m giving such a low review is that the portion that they make for delivery is absolutely hilarious biggest joke ever, 2 PIECES of chicken of each toppings???? Literally a SCAM !!! I’ve even had extra toppings to try them and the portions can’t even feed a child honestly, for that much money you can sit and enjoy a starter and a main in a really nice restaurant. The beef topping has 4 wee and thin pieces of beef ? Honestly that needs improvement. Why do you do such a bad portion for delivery I’ve sat in before and it’s nothing like that ! I would change my review and order again if there’s any improvement only because I like the food hopefully in future that’s different but that just now is completely unacceptable.

I was served by a helpful young woman called Callie and a friendly young man called Lee. It wasn't too busy so I hadn't had a chance to look over a lot of the menu so I was surprised when Callie suggested a mix of noodles and rice (I didn't know I had that option) and since I was too busy looking over what toppings to have, I appreciated Lee mentioning the meal upgrade (I know it's on the menu overhead now). Lovely service, tasty noodles, firecracker definitely spicy enough to satisfy but not overwhelming so I could still enjoy my meal. 10/10 will be dining here again

I gave this place too many chances. Chicken amazing. But rice and noodles , DRY and TASTE OFF every time. Not to mention, that the small boxes get filled to the top with rice or noodle.

Callie (I think) was lovely and friendly, recommended the caramel chicken and let us try others before we decided what we wanted. Rest of the staff very friendly too. Food excellent as always.

I was asked to leave a review by sa staff member. I have been a regular here for last two years due to its proximity to Abertay University. The food quality is usually good and consistent. I do feel however that that topping portions are getting smaller and smaller. Therefore I am likely to stop going quite as often as I used too.

Not recommended. Ate some rice from this place a few weeks ago at about 5:30PM and came down with food poisoning later that evening. I guess the food had been sitting around under the lamps too long. I'm also a bit suspicious of the 100s of 5* reviews left by people who've reviewed few or no other establishments.

Unfortunately the food (noodle meal pack) I ordered from Chopstix (Overgate, Dundee) was not like previous orders. Food was tasteless and had a funny smell hence I couldn't eat it. Made a complaint but never got any response from the business. Highly disappointed as I didn't get a satisfactory service from Chopstix.

First time here, got served promptly however the rice was rock hard and both my partner and I couldn’t eat it. The chicken was alright. Felt I couldn’t go up to the staff to tell them that the rice was rock hard as when my partner got served, he heard them complaining about having to deal with not having any rice and customers. I probably wont come back cause I feel like they leave the food out past the time it should be. I recommend going to DR Noodles and paying a couple more pounds for better quality but just came to chopstix for convenience. Also the lights looked like they had some sauce or debris of some sort in them.

I was served by Lee who was really kind after I'd turned up for a Too Good To Go order having not realised my order was cancelled. Lee mentioned there was a bit of leftover chicken and quickly made up a small salt and pepper box so that my trip wasn't in vain although I had laughed it off as I should've checked before I turned up. The other member of staff working (sorry didn't get the name) also helped him which was lovely as I was feeling a tad silly. Many thanks to you both :)

Today was my first time trying this and I will definitely be returning. My new favourite food spot. I was served my a lovely young man called Sam, he was very friendly and patient with me and made my order very quickly. Such a lovely atmosphere and a great prices. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dundee.
