Have always going to The Gladstone especially the quiz night for many years. Unfortunately this Thursday quiz night was spoiled by a couple vaping close to us. Staff saw them but nothing said. Sadly we won’t be going again

A great pub, unlike many others left. This pub sits at the heart of the local community. It is friendly, sociable and old school. The prices are fair, the beer is good and the atmosphere is enjoyable. The decor and style is classical and characterful. The pub is an old, reliable friend, always there as a place to get away. The word is that the Glad is considering closure to be redeveloped into flats. This would be a massive loss. What a beautiful pub.

as pubs go this one is a classic, but i mostly like sitting in the garden amongst the beautiful flowers which are all over in the summer.

The owner of Doctors Orders Micropub recommended this pub to my twin brother Stephen and I and what a great pub this is. A great looking building with an awesome interior ,a two roomed pub with a bar that services both rooms, the decor and furnishings are superb, some good vintage decorative items spread throughout this pub, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their cool beer garden, it's just a wonderful pub ,one I am so glad we visited. My twin brother and I were here on a Saturday afternoon, greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a real ale each ,we opted to have The Nottingham Brewery " foundry mild " while I opted to have Timothy Taylor's Landlord, both real ales were served in excellent condition, we got a nice table were we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My Timothy Taylor's Landlord was superb, light, hoppy and bursting with taste, it's one of my favourite real ales,my twin brother also gave the thumbs up to his real ale. We really enjoyed our real ales in here and although we only stayed for the one each before we moved on for a first time visit to The Gladstone Pub we were very impressed indeed. The Gladstone Pub is easy to locate, from Mansfield Road Carrington we cut round to Loscoe Road were you will find this pub. A great pub,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

Fantastic beer, impeccable quality. Excellent service/the staff are wonderful. A main public bar, lounge bar and beer garden. Very very clean. No food served just bar snacks so whole focus is on the quality of the beer served. If you want to visit a real friendly local pub, 5 mins from a bus stop and 7 mins from a chip shop, then " the gladi" is just for you.

This is a hidden gem of a pub, nestled in the Sherwood area of Nottingham. It has a great selection of local and national beers at reasonable prices. The beer garden is a lovely spot if the weather allows. If you want to sample a typical British pub, you can't go wrong with this one.

Heard alot about this place - i live close by - Took my sister for a well earned end of week drink. On entering the venue it had to entrances - an old fashioned snug and the main bar. Very traditional looking - However it was like entering a Saloon in the wild west - People where in selective groups and eye balled us as we went in - We ordered our drinks and proceeded to the outside area which was beautiful with blooming flowers. Same welcome - Its like the locals own the pub - It wasn't uncomfortable but not a reason to go back if having a drink means you have to "fit in" - Good beer good service.

My Friday night local. no music. no TV. No fruit machines. Great well kept real ales and a nice little courtyard garden. Very friendly. Small and welcoming with a good buz. Could improve the wine selection - its a bit too cheap and cheerful. Other than that - pretty good. Especially now the dog can come in and enjoy the tomato crisps!

This friendly local has great real ale, a lovely beer garden and a cosy feel. You can sit and read in a nook as easily as you can chat to friends and locals. It does have issues with accessibility. To be fair, it is harder with lovely old buildings to make adaptations that decrease barriers for those with mobility and other access issues. Ramps - even removable ones, back entrances or grab rails are all possible options to welcome and include more people. As one of us is a long-term slow-walker who is now becoming a wheelchair user and one of our friends also depends on their wheelchair it is becoming impossible to go to what was once a favourite drinking hole.

I gave this pub a five star rating purely on the basis that it is my sort of pub. They do not serve food just a good range of beers and there is a nice beer garden. The Carrington Triangle Folk Club meet here every Wednesday which is a popular event.

Decided I would give this place a try today. Never have I been so angry at receiving a cob. First the price was far too expensive. This is also based on getting two bacon and two sausage. Ya know, like allllll cob shops. No no, not this place, this place has the cheek to charge you £3.90 for a cob that has one slice of bacon, one egg and a teeny tiny little sausage patty. They must be working on 200% profit margins. I will never be returning and I will make sure anyone who comes on our building sites won't be going either. Absolute piss take.

We booked three for lunch at 12.30 but could find not staff when we arrived. The one we did find did not know they had a brasserie.! We were offered a table but the waitress could not find the wine list. We left.
