Food was amazing ,drinks came after meal,waiter with hat very professional, best burger ever and ruabarb with meringue passion fruit sauce a brilliant combo,only other feed back toilets ,two out of order and very shabby ,I usually heck out toilet before I eat as no excuse for poor toilets ,hopefully when I return they will have been given makeover,otherwise possibly my favourite eateries in perth !

Had a lovely sandwich today , my husband had a rueben and I had the chicken club , the bread was bloody lovely and they weren't stingy with the filling either. It was quiet but then again it was lunch time . Will definitely come back to try the evening menu 😋

Great fish and chips, fabulous drinks. Easy to bring your children along, they will get lots of positive attention. Staff is very friendly and lovely.

Lovely food, tastes like Homemade, Chilli Ragu Spaghetti and a Pepperoni Pizza. Only real problem is the plastic plants over hanging the stairs, I'm disabled and need the bannister? Cut back on the foliage.....

We had Kieran as our server, absolutely brilliant guy, amazing service from him and so friendly, made our experience a 10/10. Recommend him 100%!

Its not just the name that is amazing. The décor if very modern and relaxing with music that you can hear but not so loud you can't talk to people. The menu may not be massive but a nice selection and all well prepared and presented, had food envy at the loaded chips. The staff were very polite and accommodating to our needs.

The food was good, but a blond big waitress was very rude to us, and in all honesty ruined most of our experience there.

Beautifully decorated but no service as old building. Food was tasty but not very hot. Service good but we were rushed out the door after 1.5 hours. Was going to order more drinks but the bill arrived.

Food arrived instantly, like before the drinks! As suspected this was due to it not being fresh. Seemed like what we got was a frozen pizza although I've had many better frozen pizzas. Nice beer though and the place is nice. Like a posh McDonald's with alcohol 🍷 Good staff .

Lovely Mother's Day meal - good value

I ordered the Croque Monsieur and it was cold as if it had been sitting for a while. Cheese 'sauce' on top was a thick paste that looked like sick. It was very bland and disappointing. Also ordered a side of their hand cut chips which were completely raw inside. We told the staff this and they couldn't have cared less. Paid full price for a meal that was inedible. Worst meal I've ever had.

A bit lacking. I use to love to go here, but it’s seems that the menu has been slowly decaying… they use to have really good menus… now they have a lot less option and still manage to not have things available. It’s a shame, I thought to give them another try but don’t see me going there anymore unfortunately. Lovely staff though.

I work as a support worker and often bring a lady that I support to The Giddy Goose. They are so accommodating and friendly. All of the girls are absolutely lovely and always go above and beyond. You couldn’t ask for better customer service. Nice cocktails and great prices!

Bit odd creepy decor. Not enough normal comfortable sitting but the staff was quite nice. We went there just for a drink so nothing went wrong with that.

The burgers were really good and decent sized portions too, staff was super friendly and welcoming. On a side note I am not sure why some reviewers would vote a restaurant down for lack of 4g coverage and bar area which is noisy due to glasses..I think they should look for a library instead.

Just had a walk along the river then popped in here, food was good, staff were very good and good value 😋..

Terrible. Firstly placed at table on the first floor which is next to the caged area for the bar. Constant banging and smashing of glass. Service was really slow but there were only 2 waitresses on. Ordered carbonara. Plate cold, food lukewarm. Asked for Parmesan and was told ‘it’s on your food’. No option to add any or indeed any condiments (salt/pepper) on the tables. Complained that service was slow and got the reply ‘is it for your desserts’? Eventually got our dessert, had to ask for spoons, were given soup spoons!! Waste of money and would advise anyone to avoid.

Decided to take my kids and wife here for a treat before Christmas as there is not many places to eat in Perth! It was a bad decision, we would have been better eating a meal deal in the car. The food was so bland and overpriced, it was stone cold and it was atrocious especially given the inflated price. If I could have voted 0 star I would have. Avoid at all costs!!! On top of this the staff were rude and unfriendly and there was no signal to get 4G which made the visit even worse.

Let loose in the giddy goose. We popped in on a Monday evening to celebrate my friends birthday. First visiting the premises and was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed ambience, fantastic choice of music, menu, food was a ten. Staff were so polite and attentive. Just to finish our night we were surprised by a new cocktail of the week( the grinch) delivered for my friends birthday. This is highly recommended 🎈 what a fantastic evening we both had here.

Excellent experience had. Food was fantastic, prepared quickly and freshly, arrived hot and plentiful portions. Staff were friendly and incredibly attentive. The whole place was decorated incredibly making it am enjoyable atmosphere and quirky environment. Accessibility was good with ramped access at the main entrance and a lift between all levels of the restaurant.

Not a varied food selection, but what we had (various forms of chicken breast) was moist and flavorful. They should add at least 1 salad option.

Had a couple of lunch time "signature" pizza. A Margarita pizza and a Garden Heat pizza were doughy and stodgy rather than thin and crispy. Disappointed because these were on the menu as "our speciality"

My family and I popped in for some lunch. I had the Katsu Chicken loaded fries which was delicious. There was so much on my plate I couldn't finish it. My family said their meals were delicious as well. Definitely going back. Worth every penny.

Nice warm welcome by the staff. We had booked a table for my daughters birthday. Good service, tasty food and nice relaxed atmosphere with good music playing in the background. Only let down was the toilets! Smelly and one cubicle door had a handle hanging off, another had no working light inside, another was out of order. Didn't leave many toilets in use! Places like this really need to get their toilets up to scratch, a restaurant is only as good as its toilet facilities. Apart from that a lovely place

Disappointing compared to previous visits. Was asked what we wanted to drink before we had even sat down and looked at the drinks menu! Not a good start. Saw some new additions to the menu on the website but wasn't updated on the menu in the restaurant and the waitress had no clue and I had to ask her to find out as she didnt bother to offer herself-still waiting as she never came back.. Walked out in the end! Went with my daughter who was given an adult menu so had to ask for a child's menu. Lack of staff and the waitress said she was new and it was only her and the barman that was working. Won't be back. Very poor service.

Popped in today for a bite to eat and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside. The waiter also took the price of a pint of T off the bill as we had to wait slightly longer to have our order taken. I would definitely go back.

The starters were great. Main meal was pasta. Horrible. Cold and mac and cheese wasn't nice at all. I should have said something but just paid bill and took food home. Its now in the bin. Sorry won't be back.

This place is super cute! The food was fantastic. Our waitress was super friendly. They even have board games by the bar. I really enjoyed the fish and chips

Very nice setting and atmosphere, we ate well. However, the portions are a bit small compared to the price.

The food was pretty good, service was slow, waited a long time between being seen, was a Friday night, but as the place emptied out, the service didn't seem to get any quicker, as I say could've been understaffed or due to Friday night. The atmosphere was great!

Great all round. We were seated immediately, the service was great, but from the time we ordered to the time the food was brought to us was exceptional - only around 6 or 7 minutes! The food was piping hot and very enjoyable. The coffee was excellent too. The interior was lovely and the music in the background at the perfect level. Wouldn't really say it was a negative (and nothing to do with the service or food) but we paid by card and were unable to add on a tip. Recommended.

Never been to this restaurant until today when 5 of us went for an evening meal . It took 20 minutes for the drinks order to be taken and then our food eventually arrived about 30 minutes after that. When our food did arrive 3 of the orders were incorrect which was resolved.I asked to speak to the manager who has yet to arrive . This establishment is overpriced and and unable to handle basic restaurant needs

Decent place with friendly staff, nice decor and crockery. However food was rather pricy for how much we got, and was rather disappointing. Everything was dry but also somehow oily at the same time, everything also had a weird garlic taste to it. I ordered an apple juice but received a cranberry, was an accidental upgrade but said apple on the bill so don’t understand how this happened. Also even though there were free tables me and my partner were directed to a table right next to other people, with only two feet between tables in the same booth which made things a tad awkward for both parties.

Was taken out for my lunch with family! Wow such a great meal!

Great atmosphere, staff very friendly, the menu is not huge, but everything we ordered was amazing. I celebrated my birthday there and they decorated my cake and sang happy birthday :D ❤️ it was really sweet

Made a booking online on the 1st of January for 12 people on the 9th of January. Confirmed the booking on the 4th with the restaurant via email. Today on the 7th, they don't even bother to call and cancel by an automated email. Now I need to find somewhere 2 days before a birthday for 12 people. I am incredibly disappointed. Woman on the phone was nice but it is very frustrating as someone confirmed with me multiple times.

Ordered Spicy Sausage Pasta. There was no spice, nor sausage present in said dish. Overpriced, not as advertised. Have made better pasta myself.

Very tasty food and friendly, attentive staff. Buster and Bear were also looked after with water and sausages. Excellent dog friendly place and will definitely be visiting again.

4 star establishment serving 2 star food, whilst yes the decor and the feel of this place was lovely, the food was nothing more that take away food served on plate, the restaurant has the potential to be so much better 🤦

Booked a table and arrived, downstairs was where we got seated and it was freezing, asked for a table upstairs in the dining room where it was warm and was given one as it was almost empty. The food was ok. Chicken bites were close to being burnt and we ordered dessert which 20 mins later still did not arrive, the waitress had forgotten to tell the kitchen the order. Not a great dinner experience...

The resteraunt was cold.didn't like the coated chicken when said i didn't like it the comment was we use butter milk and and add a lot of sessoning .

Dog owners, come to this place for good food and friendly staff. Loved to finally find a place in Perth that is dog friendly. Immediately received two bins of water for our two dogs. We took the nachos and pizza. I particularly liked the texture of the pizza's crust.

Went there twice in September because I was told by a friend about the maple burger and i got to say it was amazing, full of flavour and felt quite full after it and never have space for dessert. My girlfriend also had loaded fries and at first we thought it was gonna be a not so big portion so she got a chicken starter and guess who couldn’t finish the loaded fries Definitely gonna keep coming back as atmosphere and bar are really good looking and clean. Brilliant staff too, everyone is so nice, the boy in the bar makes the best cocktails.

Had to wait 15 mins whilst the table was cleared from the previous user, when we were seated at the table, we were greeted to a sticky table which still had remains of the previous users food on it, not great at all. We then had to wait a further 20 mins before being asked for drinks and to clean the table, adding to the frustration from the group. Some of the group had starters which were good, however it took 30mins until a staff member came to clear these, this may have been due to where our table was located which felt like we had been shoved in a corner and forgotten about. In terms of the mains these were okay, unfortunately for a couple members of my group their food was cold as it had clearly been sitting for a while before being brought out. It is a shame to score this place at this level because I'm sure if we had been served in a reasonable timescale and seated in a better spot things would have been much better. In terms of the overall vibe of the place this was fantastic, just a shame about the service.

Lovely place, exceptional service. A mix between Scottish and North American culture. To this day, the best nachos I have ever eaten in my life. Very juicy meat and good price.

It's on the expensive side compare to other places on the street. But the staff are very attentive and helpful. The portion sizes are very big and always delicious and the decor is just beautiful

When we sat down we were not given a menu and had to find out own. 15 minutes went by without being seen to or asked for drinks so we walked out. A table came in after us and were served.

Meal was really nice i had a curry,manager was lovely,shared a couple of jokes with us .very friendly.

Food was lush, great portions. Maple bacon burger is 10/10, so juicy and fresh. Cocktails were good also.

Went on a Saturday lunchtime. Ordered a pint of coke which was so watered down, and a large late with an extra shot which was luke warm and tasted incredibly weak. Shared a plate of maple chicken wings, which tasted of pizza base sauce rather than maple, and had so many broken bones in them which made them very difficult to eat. Then had a cheeseburger which looked the part but was difficult to eat when given no napkins. Was also served on a paper square, on a plate - the paper square was pointless and just ended up ripping and mixing in with the burger. Granted the place looks great from the outside and have spent a good bit of time doing up the inside too. However the big let down were the scabby toilets - over half of the ladies were out of order. Mediocre, so unfortunately won't be rushing back. Sorry.

TLDR; Atmosphere and service were exceptional, very cost friendly, but our burgers were rare (in my boyfriend's case raw!!). If you don't like rare meat, I would ask for you burger well cooked! We stopped into this location for a break from a long drive as it looked lovely from the floral beer garden in the front. When we got inside we were seated quickly and menus were provided. We were served drinks and our orders were taken within 5 minutes by a lovely lady with pink braided hair, whom I would like to personally thank for being so kind and attentive throughout our stay. The food came out in good time, I had the Giddy Cheeseburger and my boyfriend had the Maple Bacon Burger. The casun fries I got with my order were lovely and my boyfriend said the sweet chilli sauce fries were also pretty good. The problem arose with the burgers themselves. They were far too soggy for our liking but, to their credit, were flavourful. I noticed my burger was a little pink on the inside but didn't think anything of it, beef can be eaten slightly rare afterall! But my boyfriend's burger wasn't cooked right at all. The entire middle chunk of it was completely raw and rare meat makes my boyfriend feel very sick. We called over the waitress from before who was very helpful, and told us that the burgers are rare because they are cooked American style. We were, at first, satisfied with that. But the more my boyfriend ate, the rarer it was in the middle. He left that chunk behind to show to waitress, just to let them know. The waitress was extremely apologetic and took the food straight to the kitchen to show them. We were given a free dessert to make up for this. Overall, the atmosphere is lovely, the service was excellent and, even though the food was lacking a little in our case, the actions taken to correct their mistake were satisfactory. It was also only £22 for 2 soft drinks and 2 burgers! So very cost friendly!

Nice place for lunch. Amazing staff, really friendly and polite. Fair price and tasty food. They have vegetarian/vegan food choices, so everyone will find something. We will definitely come back to try burgers.

Went for tea last night, pretty quiet which was nice, got seated and menus were given straight away told about Tuesday offer, which is a great offer, pizzas arrived and was delicious, didn't need the side of chips we ordered, will deffo be back.

The whole experience was brilliant, we were welcomed as soon as we went in. The food was absolutely amazing, highly recommend the pizzas, they're by far the best I've had. I wouldn't order desserts if you're a guy, you're served last 😉. Overall this is a fantastic place to go out and have a meal and the staff are really on the ball and friendly. We'll be back for sure.
