Great pub two rooms small and cosy

Great little place for a quiet pint or 2 ;-)

Stopped by for a drink on a Thursday evening with the local bowls team. Staff were friendly it had a nice atmosphere and a darts board 🎯

I didn't have anything to eat but they serve my favourite beer called Neck Oil. Plenty of parking, great outdoor areas, friendly staff. Shame the footie wasn't on. Will go again for sure.

We had just drinks but it's a nice place with character 😉

Great atmosphere, huge beer garden. Friendly staff and landlord Chris is a great guy. If you are in the area it's definitely worth a visit

Lovely boozer with fab service and range of real ales. Bonus is that in the summer it has a fantastic beer garden with terrific views over Lichfield's iconic cathedral too.

A great traditional pub a short walk from the centre. We'll kept real ales and cobs or pork pie for the munchies. A must if you visit Lichfield.

Visited yesterday afternoon. A traditional two-roomed pub with lovely old features. Just a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Welcomed by the very friendly lady on the bar and enjoyed two pints from the choice of 7 real ales. Well worth a visit if you like a choice of well kept real ales. I didn't eat but noticed a wide range of snacks, pork pies, samosas,etc.

Visited this pub for the first time tonight but will definitely be back. Owners Jen and Andy made us very welcome as new residents to the area in this terrific establishment.

Friendly bar staff, good prices and a good selection of drinks, I fail to see what more a pub needs.

Visited on Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon. Pretty quiet. Service was friendly and helpful, two inside rooms were comfortable, and we sat in the garden until the late summer wasps chased us back inside.

Beautiful little pub in Lichfield newly refurbished to a very high standard. New landlady and her staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Beer garden is the best in Lichfield overlooking the cathedral. Can’t wait to return.

What a great place. Small but perfectly formed. Great staff who always look after their customer. Music in the background is superb. Can't wait for the entertainment to start. People should go here if they fancy a small intimate place but a lot of fun

I was shocked it looks like a really nice place from outside but inside 🤮 it smells of old tobacco its a dump it only serves 2 beers and some lagers was looking forward to a nice place.😳

Was doing England Match and Big screen delivering to tables and quite crowded. Had lots of outside space with tables and benches numbered and phone number. Had lots of unique views from garden need to be mobile. But lots of beautiful parking and family friendly. Wandered with permission and had Lichfield in its full glory and can be accessed by nearby park or foot or road. Worth visiting for views from garden stunning looking high above Lichfield. Lots of quality food and drinks on order. Thank you. Have looked again said hello whilst passing. All space for visitors and very friendly. A great place for chat and meeting with views of Lichfield on its garden views. Wow thank you.

Witty banter and smiling faces always greet us at the George & Dragon. The traditional pub interior is clean and welcoming. With current restrictions, picking a pub with a good outdoor space can be difficult. The George & Dragon has a large open green space with fantastic views of the cathedral spires and part of the city. With plenty of seating and fantastic table service, it's well worth a visit!

A very nice little pub in lichfield.

Great looking place from the outside and In. Easy to park in car park with plenty of spaces available. We were quickly served by friendly staff that we always around if we wished to have anything else. Good atmosphere. Food was served swiftly and was lovely, couldn't fault it one bit. I would definitely recommend the fish and chips!, well worth the money and a massive portion too! Thanks!

Great local pub with nice clientele. The owner and staff know all the regulars by name, which is great. They have a superb cheese board, award winning pork pies and always a great selection of ale on tap. The beer garden is steeped in history as it was where the royalists planned the second of three sieges of the cathedral. Artifacts found in the garden are hung up on the wall of the pub

Nice selection of beers, super friendly. Great views from the beer garden on a summer's day. The pork pie, wowzers, make sure you are properly hungry to order a whole one! It's a very meaty, very tasty beast of a thing....I'll be back for more I'm sure!

Lovely place stopped for a drink, the men had pork pie, said it was lovely! Really friendly lady behind bar, it's a camra pub nice selection of real ales, really nice, took little one in enjoyed it, definitely recommend a visit!
